Cyber Altair
Oh' date=' I have another idea. [: [spoiler=Another Fantastic Glassy Idea'] I believe we should alter the maximum amount of reputation points given each day. For example, we could set up some sort of organized system: >Members that are classified as one-star members - Maximum: Three reputation points per day.>Members that are classified as two-star members - Maximum: Four reputation points per day.>Members that are classified as three-star members - Maximum: Five reputation points per day.>Members that are classified as four-star members - Maximum: Six reputation points per day.>Members that are classified as five-star members - Maximum: Seven reputation points per day.>Members that are classified as six-star members - Maximum: Eight reputation points per day. The reason for slightly increasing the maximum amount of reputation points per day for the higher ranked members, would be that members who are higher ranked, tend to be more experienced than newer members. These higher ranked members, are usually the people that host forum events, and in these forum events, prizes are used to attract the attention of the members of YCM. I've noticed that the hosts have to wait long periods of time, in order for all the prizes that involve reputation points to be handed out. So, in order to fix this problem, we can increase the maximum of reputation points given each day. Lower ranked members, have a reasonable maximum of three per day, and with three, the newer members may be easily monitored, as a follow-up to see if they're properly following the rules. So, in order to work up to a higher maximum of reputation points, they'll have to contribute more to the forum, by posting more. This organized system, gives members rewards along the way, which will guarantee that most of them will be eager to reach their goals. Finally, if you add a few more rewards to this system, such as: > A positive reputation point for the top poster of the week.> 500 points, for the member that made the most threads within a certain time period.> A free name change, or credit for a free name change, could be given to the member that types up the best biography on a past YCM member. These biographies could be submitted in the form of a contest application, which will then be judged by a panel of selected members. This way, members will learn more about past YCM members either through reading, or writing biographies. Activity will surely increase throughout YCM. [; -Glasstin I agree with glasstin on the reputation, but not the other ideas such as "Top poster of the Week." It's obviously going to be Clariex or Bloodrun. Uh, Hello? I'm the second highest poster remember?
Umbra
You didn't mention what would happen in the case of Umbra not being on. The Super Mods have to monitor every section' date=' and while we have a fair amount, I think we need a normal Fanfic/Roleplay Mod for when Umbra's not on.[/quote'] Role Play, and Fan Fic, have the lowest amount of traffic, that partain to any of the OFFICIAL forum rules.Especially Fan-Fic.One Mod, is quite sufficient. Bloodrun
Please share it O' Great One. Actually there are two' date=' but I would go with one more the other:1) Make the ability to post in RP to only members with 500 or more posts, that way, the members by that time should have the approximate understanding of how to make a post.2) Turn off post count, and don't punish people for spamming in a non post count increasing forum. Phantom Roxas
+1 Support for the removal of RP Post Count, and that's coming from an avid RPer. Also, Crab Helmet should not be Super Mod. Recently he recruited three members who will remain anonymous for the time being and they all trolled me in a banlist I made in TCG. A Super Mod should not resort to this kind of act.
