Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It's worse than Sakuretsu Armor /TopicThis doesn't even function the same way as Sakaretsu Armor. At all o.O Either way, comparatively in their usefulness, and not function, I would agree. Lineage of Destruction is only useful in a few situations, and isn't very much worth the setting. CrabHelmet
This card cannot be used (or, if it is used, will be inferior to Shield Crush) unless your opponent controls a Defense Position monster whose DEF is less than the ATK of a Level 8 Attack Position monster you control and which does not have an effect that will destroy the attacking monster (a-la-Ryko) or (in most cases) that will protect itself (a-la-Spirit Reaper), and your Level 8 Attack Position monster most be capable of attacking and must have an effect that will allow it to benefit from battling with the opponent's monster (as opposed to simply Shield Crushing and attacking over it), and all of these circumstances must occur simultaneously on one of your turns after the turn in which you Set this non-chainable Trap Card. Of course, this is assuming that you're using your Level 8 monster's first attack to kill the opponent's monster. Otherwise, this card is far easier to use: you simply need to control a Level 8 Attack Position monster capable of attacking while your opponent controls a Defense Position monster which you are capable of (and willing to) destroy, all during one of your turns after the turn in which you Set this non-chainable Trap Card and under circumstances which prohibit cards like Double Attack or Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce from performing this task for you. ...yeah, it's situational. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
At least it's better than another Trap Card Jack used. It would activate only when your opponent did some type of Summon, and it inflicted 500 damage.

Wasn't that the one that should have won him their duel somewhere around Episode 5?
Phantom Roxas
No, that's Meteor Storm. Jack used this card to defeat Mukuro Enjo.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I thought of the wrong time when it can be activated, but it's still just as crappy. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Demon_Cannon
CrabHelmet
Ah. The card I was thinking of was Meteor Stream, which pretty much has the activation timing that you described.

Though technically they are doing double the damage listed, since they're playing with 4000 Life Points. Characters seem to always play such obscure and idiotic cards. Lazer Yoshi
Too situational. Can be useful, but kinda hard to MAKE it useful.

Skarlet
Ojama Trio + Tyrant Dragon + Big Bang Shot + this = OTK a crappy one, but an OTK it gets 2 attacks from this, and 1 from it's effect and deals 8800 Damage

Spiff!
darn right.especially when the LV8 in question was Mosaic Manticore. 2800 damage, lol.
werewolfjedi
now, even assuming I am using a level 8 monster as the target of the attack, I would be easyer to use tryce, and that one is an equip, so it stays turn after turn after turn unless it dies or tryce itself is destroyed. while that is likely it has an advantage over this trap, it does not need to wait a turn before I use it. ~ P O L A R I S ~
This card is major eww. You have to wait through your setting turn and your opponent's turn before you can make use of it, and only then if you have a LV8 monster. If that wasn't bad enough, you ALSO need to have destroyed a DEF position monster. So it's either going to get destroyed, or you won't be able to use it. I'd just use Megamorph or Tryce.
