R.I.P. Madeleine Blaustein 1960-2008

I am sad to inform you all, that I have recently been informed by separate sources of the loss of one of our beloved original voice actors, Madeleine Blaustein, unfortunately passed away in her sleep last week. She was one of the voice actors who were in it from the start and she is most famous among the Pokémon community for providing the voice of Meowth in the american dub from Episode 32 up to Episode 421 and the first eight movies among various other characters. She was a kind person and even took time out of her busy schedule to do a Q&A session on the forums here. She will be sorely missed among the community and our hearts go out to all her friends and family during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace Maddie.

Pika' date=' I think it would be best if you removed the link, it leads to another forum..

False. It leads to the source of the quote, which happens to be a site that contains a forum somewhere in it on another page. It does not lead to the forum itself.

Also, this is a Yu-Gi-Oh site. That is a Pokemon site. Are you seriously worried about losing traffic simply because someone posted a link to there?

I am not worried about anything, but it does say in the rules no advertising. Now I know his intentions were not to advertise the forum, but to give a source for the quote, which is why I didn't tell, as in command him to remove it.

Users can link to websites that they believe will provide useful information or any other kind of reference/tool that this site does not already provide.

The rules kind of explicitly state that this is permitted. >_> The link isn't to a forum; it's to a site that happens to itself contain a link to a forum hidden amongst the other hundred or so links on that page.

Oh, and the way the rule is written, a link to Google would count as advertising, so applying the rule literally and universally is clearly not the best policy.

Also, if you're really not commanding him, then he can just leave the link there, which in turn implies that the link isn't a problem.

Um, ok, you've won this argument.

Now, let me ask you, why in the hell did you not take this over PM, as it can, and DOES, suggest that the Moderation, isn't at least pretending to be on the same page. Now the bolded, would have made yourself clear without having to say anything else.
