ragnarok1945
you ever play much of the conquest mode in MK Armageddon?
Phantasy Dreamz
yes..... i beat the game with Taven....and just my opinions.... conquest in armageddon is not as good as in shaolin monk...cause i want to play sub zero/scorpion in conquest.. but the fighting is better than shaolin monk tho..due to the various characters.. ragnarok1945
I've yet to play the conquest in deception. What's it like compared to the armageddon one?
uzumakinaruto93
I've yet to play the conquest in deception. What's it like compared to the armageddon one? I haven't played armageddon, but Deception is not all that impressive. Its more like a training mode to give you an idea on how all the characters play
ragnarok1945
you know for the SC series, I did wish they had done a conquest mode or something like they did for the MK series, although that seems a little hard due to the unimpressive storyline compared to the MK storyline
Last Wish
But of all people is SC4, i got to admit, that yun seong is the cheapest. His avenging claw, then critical finish combo is so cheap. In sc3, he was a good player, but no as cheap. Yoshimitsu aswell has pretty cheap moves because alot of his moves do twice the damage, then with some Custom charecter magic, he is practically OHK. Cheap another series of games i would like to sugest is The naruto ultimate ninja series and the Bleach fighting games. 2 really good games. ragnarok1945
yeah well because all the times I've had to play SC4 at my friend's house, I still have yet to use Yun Seong very effectively. In SC3 Astaroth was the cheapest one (he was the first character I was able to beat Olcadan with)

Last Wish
LOL, the only takken game ive ever played is takken tag tournament. it was pretty good, so i suggest tekken games. Try virtual fighter games too. ^^
ragnarok1945
You would probably end up hating tekken 4 then, Last Wish (see that was the first tekken game I played, and that's why I didn't hate it as much. Most people felt tekken 4 was the worst one)
Sigma
If you have a Wii, get Castlevania Judgement. If you don't, find some other MK game somewhere. >_>
ragnarok1945
you can play MK armageddon on the Wii, you know. One of the guys at my school did it. Though I'm not sure if that's the only MK game you can play on the Wii or not
Sigma
I've yet to play Armageddon or Shaolin Monks. Are they good?Armageddon is good, however, Shaolin Monks is a DBZ Version of Mortal Kombat, and the enemy's are kinda too easy on there.
ragnarok1945
well then I won't be buying the latter. Need a bigger challenge (oh and the fact armageddon has a much bigger fighter list to choose from)

~ P O L A R I S ~
I assumed Fighting Games were games in which you fought. Now apparently they have a different definition. Care to explain this definition? I don't not read things bra. You obviously haven't played any of the games I've listed, as they each involve large amounts of fighting. Guest JoshIcy
Most if not all Arcade style fighting games are preferred. But here are my 2 favorites. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike (Arcade and Ps2) - Unlockable cheats. And has the smoothest controls, I have ever felt for ANY fighting game to date. When you play, you might as well have been throwing the punches yourself. Bar none in terms of graphics, control, speed and fluidity. Not much to say other than that, it is the perfect arcade fighting game. Period. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection- If not, completely for the new outfits and addition of Dragunov, (I will ignore Jinpachi as he is just... there). Dragunov plays like a combination between Bryan and King. His combo's are slower than Bryan, and are not as lengthy as King. But still manages to be top tier with his limited quick moves, (not as useful as much other characters with it comes to Aerial Kick Stuns). He still plays as a dream. - Then comes the overall game itself, using old fashioned Button-Mashing Gameplay. Stories are in-depth, (albeit slightly cliche') and really get you interested in how each person came to play. Each character is good at somethings, (ie: Raven is weak to low attacks since many of his are of aerial nature. Or Law who while fast can easily be blocked with a standing guard/auto block), and weak at others. You will quickly find you like and continue to learn all of their combos. Whether you like arcade games or not, definitely worth to pick up due to the varying learning curves and easy to get gameplay.
ragnarok1945
You consider button mashing to be considered cheap? And as for myself I'm still learning Dragunov (spent too much time playing Bryan and Paul to bother before)
