i think i can agree on pictures being a secondary priority if its being impossible finding the right picture. for one thing, cards being seriously delayed due to lack of proper pictures is kind of b.s. in my opinion. however, where the picture fits the card, then cards should definitely have pictures on them for reasons stated in my last 2 posts. and having an april fools joke hanging around weeks and months after the fact is ridiculous. << it makes it more difficult for people to know exactly what's what when a joke banlist has been set up and not removed when the time is past. and while i am on the topic of cards, does anyone know when the next card contest will be? just so i know how much time i have to rework some of my cards so that they can be4 entered into the contest for whatever set is currnelty being assembled. btw, i was wondering if anyone here besides me felt that we should be able to make our own sets for personal use and for friends and mutual friends. oh, and also was wondering if anyone besides me felt that if a personal set is good enough that it should be made a personal set.

typo on that last one. what i meant to say was does anyone else besides me feel that if a personal set is good enough that it should be made into an official ccg set.

.... Umm.. doesn't the fact it SAYS APRIL FOOLS in bold lettering by reading the first letter of every line of that post make it OBVIOUS its an April Fools joke? It did when I noticed it on April Fools day.

 

EDIT: Also, you can always use personal sets with friends since that's not something official, and only requires sharing the personal sets with those friends. It's not like it will effect everyone. I duel with personal sets all the time. Far more often than I duel with the official YCCG set.

ah, okay then. so we can at least battle with our own personal cards. thats good to know. but i still would like to know if anyone has any opinions on really good personal sets being made into official ccg sets. and that fact that it says april fools in bold type at the beginnning of each sentence is a moot point. the darned thing still hasnt been removed and i have seen previous posts of people who complained about the banlist on the main page when it isnt the real banlist. im just saying that it still being up there is causing confusion for people and that it should probably be changed to the real banlist. thats all.

I'm pretty sure the complaints happened when it was first posted. I know that's the only time I saw anything about it. And if someone can clearly see its a fake banlist, they can figure out they have to go to the banlist page. It is kind of obvious.

well, when it comes time for set 2, please put up notification and link for the set 2 submission phase up on here. that way, we know when not to pester. :p XD that last part was a joke. but yeah, let us know when! XD

WTH!!! nobody is on the chat anymore. how are we supposed to do talk stuff in relation to cards and dueling if theres no-one tp talk to?! >< XD

i guess that makes sense, just make sure that when changes are made that the creator of the cards having the changes done to them is informed. btw, if we could have lie a 4 day warning as to the tournament i would appreciate that. i gotta find a gig stick or something so that i can download yvd to it in order to duel, since i can't download stuff onto the library computer. that plud i still can't use my laptop due to the power connector! >.< but yeah, give us like 4 days of warning so that we have time to prepare. and one last thing. this tournament is just with official ccg sets right? i just ask because i dont know if personal cards could be used or not. <

Like i told, i am still duelist... So, except me on my highest level in this tournament...

I hope Karl will finish with rewording because this is really taking too much imho...

Someone should organize this and put some end dates etc.

I mean, it could take a year that Karl do it and everyone would wait for that or what..

y'know nightmarian, personsally i don't think your ranking is worth sheet unless you are willing to be patient like the rest of us. stop being a whiny prick about it and just let them finish as expediciously as they can. unless you wan't them to go faster then they are able to safely go and eff everything up.

 

p.s. didn't you post something saying that you were leaving the whole thing? if so, then why are you still here and being a nagging little jabroni?

 

p.p.s. and by the way, just wth is imho supposed to mean??

And i wasn't whining like a jabroni, i just proposed something, delays are not doing anything good for this project you know?

I was really hoping fortycal with set up something, someone should really start acting as a leader or this project is going down..:(

all right all right, so i might have made a mistake. and i'm sorry i was so rude before. i'm sure you can understand how hearing people complain alot can wear on a persons nerves. anyway, i would like to do something for the ccg, i'm just not sure what. to be honest, even though i can come up with some pretty good cards, i usually end up having them overpowered, or the ocg isn't right, or both! and you do have a point wherein it seems to take a long time for each set. everyone does havea a life outside of here though. but personally, if my laptops power connector wasn't effed up, i'd be on here basically all day trying to help however i'm able since i don't really have much going on at the moment. if you could send me an e-mail or something with the different jobs and what they entail, i'll try finding something to do.

Heh, sorry but someone other needs to help u in that... There was opened jobs thread before.. I think it would be good idea now to write description of all jobs and place that in 1st post of this thread..

Though, no one can do nothing actually right now until cards are reworded.. Then, i guess, they will be transformed to YCM format so u can help in that.. ( i am not sure will they be transformed anymore because people was talking about skipping pictures phase )

I honestly been very busy lately so I have not been dedicated to the project as much usual. I would give an End Date but, Karl said he would do it. If he doesn't do it by this weekend I guess I will do it so we can get started on the Tournament as soon as possible. Also I would need the SET File with out the changes so I can fix them. I don't want to push Karl or sound demanding so that is completely up to him if he wants me to finish up the SET File. Also shadow-zero what you said to Nightmarian was very uncalled for. I'm glad you apologized at least. As of right now we losing Nightmarian was a big loss to us so more people will have to step up unless he comes back of course. Even if he does comes back I think more people should step up anyway.
