Yeah. well, the more people help the quicker this'll go i guess. however, i don't forsee anyone actually doing any stepping up any time soon. i hope im wrong on that front though. as for me, i'm going to see if i can find a previous post that gives a list of jobs that can be done. if i find one or two that i would be able to do, i'll post here as to what jobs i would like to do and hopefully there'll be openings in those areas i choose....

I know what happened you looked on our Main Site a you saw Karls April Fools joke. If you look at the top left of the page it says Ban List click that because that's the real Ban List. BTW Karl you should remove that if you can or replace it with the real Ban List. I can definitely see how that can confuse people especially considering April Fools has been over for more a month.

 

Nope. I know about the april fools thing, i took this directly off the first page of this thread.

Like i told... You are talking about RESTRICTION list, not BAN list.. There is big difference...

Cards to restriction list was added AFTER Bomb of Destruction for example came in game.. So, Bomb of Destruction is not affected.. But no one can make like card like that anymore or it will not be accepted.. Get it now .D

Yea everything has been re-worded. Also the Fairy, Fiend and Zombie Types have been changed to Angel, Demon and Undead.

 

BTW what do you mean by the real version of the SET. Also I just changed the SET cause I forgot to Replace Fiber Dragon.

 

So hear is the New Set File changes and all. Just replace it with the old one. I also replaced the one in my above post.

Version of set that i sent to Karl after i updated all changes that was decided in Balance Phase..

 

So, if that is correct, we can continue with tourney.. Okay.. It will be good someone PM members that signed up in tourney..

And u guys decide actually starting date.. I will just host it since i started that topic and everything

yeah, that is depressing. so set 2 is finally finished cool. that means i need to hurry up with the rewording because the set 3 entries will be starting soon, hopefully. so yeah, im looking forward to that. and nightmarian, please give some serious thought to returning, okay? because you not being here = you not being able to influence the direction of the ccg. also = slower progress of sets being made and the like, so please kep that in mind and give it some thought for a few days before pasting final answer on here. btw, does anyone know of an app that can take anything you write for putting in a yugioh card and turning it into ocg? it would make it easier on some of us........

Technically, its set 1 that was finished and set 2 which will be next, but it should actually not start that soon. We can't keep jumping to work on the next set every time we finish a set. The original plan was to work on sets with some time between each one. Set 1 was kind of rushed imo since we only had set 0, which is very much just a core set. And I'm the one who's making the list for the next set, but I won't be able to work on it till I've had enough time to review all the cards now, to figure out anything we actually need, and to plan everything. And I can't even start doing that till about July 10th. I'm going on vacation real soon, and have been putting a lot of my time into preparing.

 

EDIT: Also, he left because he was trying to rush the sets too much and people were complaining. Its BAD for the sets to get out as quickly as Set 0 did. A LOT of things should have been thought over more. There is a reason we get so few new real Yugioh Card Sets a year. And if you have trouble wording a card, look at real cards to figure out the wording.

If you're going to move this, is there a club section? If not, then you should probably make one, cause that's basically what this topic is for. A main topic for our little group.

Bloodrun placed this here so why it shouldn't be here.. Its not like someone complains.. I don't get why it bother u so much..

 

I left because people was not working at all.. Like for example this situation with Karl.. He was rewording set for 10 days and at end he didn't do it but Fortycal86 done it.. I don't want to work in that kinda organization.. There is nothing good from it, if he done rewording for example in 2 days we would be able to test 8 days more or do something other to improve the set instead of wasting the time and making people leave because nothing is happening..

Set 0 was not rushed at all, it just didn't have testing phase because everyone agreed there shouldn't be one..

 

And Adran, i told u can make starting list and then people will comment , add their own categories etc. I didn't told your list is final...

 

I am gonna bump tourney topic now and someone send PM's to all people that signed in.. I would say that Adran done it since he never done anything but since i am not leader u guys do what u want

I've never done anything? You really don't pay much attention to things. I've done several things to help with this project. Just cause, unlike you, I have a life outside this project, doesn't mean you can say stuff like that. Most of us do this because we want to have FUN, but you treat it almost like a job that has to be done as fast as possible. A project like this should take MONTHS per set, not weeks. In my opinion, it is more logical to go at a pace planned for about 2 months or so for everything. That allows time for everything. You seem to want to get a new set up every week with how you treat it. I'm FAR too busy with other things that I find more important than working on a card game that I only play occasionally. And with me preparing for a vacation, I DEFINITELY don't have the time to waste working on something unimportant. I'm busy most of the day working on preparing for my trip. Not that I don't want to help, I simply CANT.

Also Adran is right this is a project not a job. We don't clock in and we don't get payed for this. Sure we want things to get done as soon as possible but, I my self like you and most people have a personal life. I feel like I been doing everything pretty fast and efficiently maybe you should have just asked me to do the job in the first place. Also what I think Adran meant was you treat the project like its a job to the point that it makes you seem like you have nothing going on in your life. You take things a little to seriously (No Offense) with the way things should be with this project.

This is definately not a contest.

 

Our own subforum would be nice :P

 

But no in all seriousness, we like to keep our active topics in one forum so that people aren't looking all over the place for our topics, and each submission phase is basically a huge contest where the best are voted in.

 

If we had say, the submission and voting phases in card contests, the balance and rewording phases in written cards or general, the main thread in clubs and organizations, the duel tournaments in general, and other posts in different forums, while these places might be the best spot for them, it's really best to stick to one forum so that members can find relevant posts better.

 

Since the program as a whole is basically one giant contest for people to submit their cards, and get them voted in, that's why we post the pertaining threads to the project here for the most part.

Then there is picture contest, balancing contest and we also have dueling tournaments.

So, how is not contest... I know its a little different then other contests here but its still contest.

I again ask, if Bloodrun placed it here, and he was mod why would u then doubt in his decision..

If he come back he will return it again here like last time <.<

1 more question - if this will be moved to club section, will it have still sticky...

Club thing is more general imho, most of people that would be interested in this project visit mostly this forum imho..

Realistic card section also sounds better then clubs imho.. What if we kill Icy first :D

Can't garuntee that. That forum is at its max with stickies at the moment. But I suppose you could PM Frunk and ask him to sticky it. I have no power in that forum.

Well I don't see it much in RC either. It'd fit better there than here, but still no. Um, I can move you to clubs and leave a link to where this thread currently is. Deal? I'm just doing my job.
