Sigma
Awesome Idea straight from the Manga! :D hmm, a bit OP'ed though. 9/
Lord Smeagle
You should make it so it affects both players, I think.
Toffee.
Awesome Idea straight from the Manga! :DAt least its not as crazy as 'Frigid Ice Pillars' and 'Life-Breathing Sculptor'
Saiba Aisu
Haha, thanks, everyone. Yep, the idea does come from the Manga - it's a combination of Asuka's card, "Fusion Freezing", Ice Counters, and "Non-Fusion Area". As to it being overpowered, a lot of the Ice Cards I've got planned require the removal of Ice Counters to activate their effects, so players will have to use their effects wisely. It's not overpowered, really - the Ice Counter requirement makes it really specific but powerful, so in all likelihood, this will probably be a useful Side Deck Card, if anything. Chevalier
a bit OP'ed though. That = Bad Ygoz. Image works well, where could you have possibly gotten it? Hmm? Good, card is good. First practical card I've seen all day.
Last Wish
Hmmmm.. unique, right of the manga, cool, and refreshing. quite the card, and good choice in seasonal matters. =)
Sleepy
not overpowered because lots of decks don't have fusions or synchros... you probably not always will have a chanse to use it... I would almost say dead draw ^-^" but this card actually can help and it never hurts to have it your deck ...so 8.5/10 :D
Saiba Aisu
Thanks, guys. The Ice Counter series is supposed to be a refreshing and slightly nostalgic experience - taking a bit of the old and the new and mixing the two. Last Wish: Thanks. Sleepy: It's not meant to be overpowered. It's meant to be a balanced, powerful counter against TeleDAD. I'm not quite sure where you're getting your facts, since the summoning of Fusion and especially Synchro Monsters is at an all-time high right now. This card is meant to be a useful Side Deck option, but not so splashable that it's abusable outside of Type-Specific variants.
Chevalier
not overpowered because lots of decks don't have fusions or synchros... you probably not always will have a chanse to use it... I would almost say dead draw ^-^" That's partially correct but it's a safe bet they will Synch seeing that every Tier 1 Deck besides Gladiator Beasts does Synchros. lpbomb
I just love the pic........man that's cool. About the card itself though........ever since the GX came out, fusions were at it's top (Cause then fusion monsters turned decent with nice effects) and then with the 5D's all the newb deulests swarmed all over those. So it might be a good card, but then again most experenced duelists I've seen never used Fusions all that often, let alone synchros..... All in all it's a card that will most oftenly be used in the side decks.
Chevalier
Synchros are the main monsters in TeleDAD....
Saiba Aisu
Chevs, give 'em a break. Most people on YCM don't play Yugioh, although they should. The card is meant to be a powerful counter to Decks that Synchro Summon a lot - namely, TeleDAD. However, it's more of a Side Deck card since you usually don't know what Deck your opponent is running.

Sleepy
I know for a fact that at least 3 of the people that last commented here DO play (including me)you have a point on saying the card is useful and how it is... I personally don't use the side-deck.. and have at least 5 synchros in my deck.. and to tell you the truth.. I wouldn't really get affected by weather my opponent played that or not.. its too easy to wipe the card out of the field. and on top of that it has a cost... that was my point........ although as I said.. I doesn't hurt to have in a deck..you never know...so my rate prevails. is there really a card like that in the GX manga :? .... interestingalso ...synchros themselves are not a concrete strategy most of the time.. but only mere support
Chevalier
wow' date=' what a good idea...hope to see more cards that use the Ice Counters[/quote'] Don't get Cyber started. He'll have a few dozen before you know it. 1. I personally don't use the side-deck.. 2. And have at least 5 synchros in my deck.. and to tell you the truth.. 1. That leads to losing every game. Period. 2. You should always run 15 Synchros no matter what.
Saiba Aisu
Do you play top-tiers, though? Against them, especially TeleDAD, this card is a crippling blow. Besides, the Side Deck is one of a competent Duelist's most important assets - it can help you turn around a game against a bad matchup. I guess you could say this card was a kind of anti-meta. The card is very easily wiped out, especially in this format, where Continuous Spells and Traps really suffer. There's no cost, actually, just a destruction condition to prevent splashing. No, the card in the GX Manga, Fusion Freezing, is very different: Fusion FreezingGroup: Trap CardType: TrapDestroy 1 Fusion Monster on the field and Special Summon, from your opponent's Graveyard to their side of the field, the Fusion Material Monsters listed on that Fusion Monster in Attack Position. Place 1 Ice Counter on each monster that was Special Summoned by this effect. Monsters with Ice Counter(s) cannot change their battle position(s). Saiba Aisu
It's not very practical, no. But it's pretty darn cool for a manga card, and it was a huge part in my inspiration for Extra Freeze. :
