[2 Disc] Life Absorbing Machine and Overdrive Teleporter

I'll move this to TCG after I say this:

 

1) Life Absorbing Machine is too slow and vulnerable to removal, and its effect is just LP recovery. And what on earth would you side this in against?

 

2) Overdrive Teleporter isn't Level 3 or lower; it needs to be exactly Level 3. That leaves it with approximately two valid targets.

ok thankyou for moving it, I seem to have missread Overdrive teleporter, (no crab im illiterate, or stupid, simple minded or uninteligent in anyway, just capable and prone as of late, to human error) and I suppose siding life absorbing machine would be stupid, but it is still viable in psychic decks, to atleast some extent

I used Life Absorbing Machine with my psychics once, but the amount of damage it recovers will be far smaller than that of Psychic Rejuvenation by the time it's destroyed.

 

As for Overdrive Teleporter, it probably does deserve to be secret. Well, ultra rare, not secret. They're simply being smart and making him a secret now for future use he may have in OTKs. Because when they make enough level 3 psychics he may become a 2-card OTK.

Life Arbsorbing Machine is useless in Psychic Decks when the have the great and powerful Magical Android.

 

Overdrive Teleporter can only Special Summon Level 3 Psychics, and very few of them exist. Sure, it's an easy way to get out Hyper Psycho Gunner, but then you have another card left over, but I suppose you could activate Emergency Teleport to get on Krebons and tune it with you leftover Psychic.

 

See, it's a three-card combo to get out two Synchros.

As for Overdrive Teleporter, it probably does deserve to be secret. Well, ultra rare, not secret. They're simply being smart and making him a secret now for future use he may have in OTKs. Because when they make enough level 3 psychics he may become a 2-card OTK.

 

LOL. Even acceptin' that, and even throwin' off ost of its restrictions (hate for Special Summons, exclusive Level 3 SS), this won't be a threat to the metagame - it's simply too big. To argue that this, or even a much more freer variant as I enumerated (and any combos arisin' from it) is broken is to argue that Rescue Cat, that untrammeled feline, is broken.

I'm saying that this could in the future end up as a 2 card OTK. It very well may not, but Konami was being preemptive to make a few extra bucks if that ever did happen.
