Mr. Judgment Dragon
If this card wouldn't be Gemini' date=' would it be banned?[/quote'] Possibly. Il Blud would be banworthy if he lost his field wipe ability as well as not be a Gemini. I think Gigaplant would be as well if he were an Effect Monster. Seta
I think it should be banned. with 1 Tribute, you get 2400 ATK monster and 1 free Plant/Insect monster once a turn.
Jesus
with 1 Tribute' date=' you get 2400 ATK monster and 1 free Plant/Insect monster once a turn.[/quote'] Because nobody ever Lonefire's into Gigaplant anymore, then lonefire into something else then tribute for Gigaplant. [/sarcasm] Also, this has been done before.

HORUS
If Gigaplant was not a Gemini, you could Special Summon 3 Gigaplant and a Tytannial. 1 card OTK under the correct circumstances.
CrabHelmet
Hey, I've got an idea - how about you idiots start posting actual arguments? This isn't any better than "Good card is good". EDIT: Thank you, HORUS, for being the only person here whose brain does not seem to have fallen asleep. Incidentally, the "correct circumstances" are "you have Lonefire Blossom in your hand". It also allows 2-card OTK's with Mass Driver and the like. Chaos Pudding seems to have forgotten that REDRUM can't summon another REDRUM. Everyone else who didn't immediately say "ban it" just really sucks at this game. Judgment Dragoon is parroting something I said in Tabris's topic in order to sound smart, but clearly doesn't understand the reasoning behind it, thus making him look like a dumb sheep. Lemniscate
Well, how long would this card actually stay on the field? I would think that the second it was played, your opponent would start trying to destroy it.

That's what this would make Lonefire Blossom, you know - another Cyber-Stein. A better Cyber Stein. One that requires a bit of deck dedication, sure, but one that summons more monsters with higher total ATK with some degree of protection and without a Life Point cost. Lazer Yoshi
How about no Name-Calling? :lol:Anyways, if it WEREN'T a Gemini, New OTK Deck. NEVER would get as popular as DAD, but it would be Pretty Popular.Right now, it's not Banworthy. But it's an Excellent Card in Plant Swarm. Tabris
To OP: The Gigasplat OTK Have Lonefire. Tribute Lonefire for Gigaplant (non-Gemini). Gigaplant SS Lonefire. Lonefire does a harakiri for another Gigaplant. Gigaplant SS Lonefire. Lonefire yields to still another Gigaplant. Gigaplant SS Lonefire. Lonefire dies, for the last time, to summon + insert fav Plant here +. In there, you don't even need an ideal circumstance.

If he was, then, he'd probably be banworthy.

Non-Gemini Gigaplant is banworthy whether or not Lonefire exists. Lonefire has nothing to do with this at all. We're talking about non-Gemini Gigaplant because a) it was mentioned in the opening post, and b) we can.
Guest PikaPerson01
Why are we discussing imaginary hypothetical cards anyway? It's a decent card for plants, it'd be broken if it weren't a Gemini, etc etc.
