This is contest between ~Colonel Sanders~ and me...community will choose the winner...

 

COLONEL SANDERS IS ACTUALLY HOSTING THIS...I JUST STARTED THREAD BECAUSE HE IS AWAY...SO COUNT THIS CONTEST AS HIS..

 

Loser will give 3 REPS to winner....

 

RULES :

-no cards that support not existing TCG/OCG themes

-no Buster monsters ( Assault Mode)

-no new sub-types , types, attributes or game mechanics

-we both must make Synchro monster

 

CARDS :

 

NIGHTMARIAN

LORE :

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Beast-Type monsters

This card gains ATK equal to the Level of the monster that is on right side of this card * 100, and it gains DEF equal to the Level of the monster that is on the left side of this card * 100. When the monster on the right side of this card is removed from the field, change this card to Defense Position. When the monster on the left side of this card is removed from the field, change this card to Attack Position. When this card destroys a monster by battle, destroy all monsters your opponent controls that are in same column as monsters you control that are adjacent to this card.

Some explanation how it works :

-obv my card use monsters around him as shield and as attacking too

-because of his high attack opponent will probably need to attack his left side monster or right side monster but then he switch to other position so it is problem again...this is not really very great but it helps in some situation..opponent would probably get rid of this card with some card effect like always...

-his second effect is actually really nice because he can destroy some weak monster and then destroy all monsters that opponent controls that are in same column as monsters you control that are adjacent to this card

-just to mention that when wording says monster on his left side , that means first left column next to this card ( if there is empty monster column between this card and monster on left side , that is not considered as monster at his left side - monster must be adjacent to him)

[spoiler=Effect]1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Summoned, send 4 Reptile-Type monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard. Distribute the same amount of Venom Counters on face-up monsters your opponent controls. This card is unaffected by "Venom Swamp". Once per turn, select 1 monster with a Venom Counter(s). Remove all Venom Counters from that monster, and inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each Venom Counter removed.

 

 

VOTING :

 

Voting should be done as follows:

 

You need to rate card in each field ( balance, wording, creativity, picture) and for each field maximum score you can give is 10.

Vote from person that is voting goes to a creator ( Nightmarian or ~Colonel Sanders~) that have higher total score of those 4 fields .

 

Creativity /10

Balance /10

Wording(OCG) /10

Picture /10

 

Any votes that will not follow above rules will not be counted.

 

Voting help and explanation of fields :

 

Creativity - how much unique effects and card is, is there something new in it what was not in other cards yet etc.

Balance - if card is broken or overpowered it lose points here..it also lose points if card is too weak..please compare this cards powers with TCG/OCG existing cards

Wording - grammar errors, wording errors , if some effect can be written in less words then that is error too..mentioning things in effect that are not neccesary ( for example - Special Summon monster in face-up Position , face-up Position is not needed to mention) .. you can also rate here grokkage (is effect too big and does it have sense, why creator placed them all in this card

Picture - are effect, type, attribute and name of card connected? What is picture quality.. Is it cool? Etc.

 

I guess this also helps in commenting your votes..

 

 

 

 

Winner will be creator with more votes at end of competition.

Can u please point me wording errors? Because i am sure i don't have a single one...

I see that my wording is badly rated so if needed i can give here example of cards that use OCG similar to my cards OCG...

Also u must notice that my card make some things that neither card was doing till now ( it checks left and right side of the monster) so i hope no one is taking this as error because it is not.

"non-Tuner Beast-Type" should be like this: "Beast-Type non-Tuner"

 

*'s should be x. IE. x100. It looks much more correct.

 

"the monster on the right side of this card is removed from the field" should be worded like this:

 

"a monster that occupies a monster card zone located on the right side of this card is removed from the field"

 

"the monster on the left side of this card is removed from the field" should be worded more like this:

 

"a monster that occupies a monster card zone located on the left side of this card is removed from the field"

 

These are merely errors pointed out and corrected.

 

That being said, I still stand by my rating so don't bother editing your entry with the corrections.

Ok..there is no reason why i should edit my entry..i just want that me/you and everyone else learn something from this competition so if there are some errors in my cards i want to see them so that i can be better next time..

Anyway, look at real cards and enjoy :

 

-this proves you are wrong with this part : "non-Tuner Beast-Type" should be like this: "Beast-Type non-Tuner"

There is no official wording for this part because i made this up but i am pretty sure i don't need to mention it...like i told , there is no way to get proofs , but it is same like this : when your are special summoning monster you don't need to mention you are special summoning it face-up and to your side of the field.. you only need to mention it if u do something other then that (because that is standard special summoning and only exceptions should be mentioned..)

So same goes for my card , left side of monster means monster zone right next to that monster on left side and that there is exception it would be mentioned..but in this card i am afraid it doesn't need to be...

It seems we were both wrong in some respect. x 100 =/= * 100 IMO.

I can't really argue with anything else presented.
