I bet you half the bastards that lurk here don't know Toon World's magical vintage ability

Pay 1000 Life Points to activate this card. Pay 500 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If you do not, this card is destroyed. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, all Life Points paid for this card are restored.

This card seems better than the Toon World we have. But not by much.

Hahaha' date=' you're joking right? It's much worse! You have to pay more points! When it is finally gone, all of those life points it sucked away from you go back to you. Way worse. Moreover, it has OCG errors! :?

OCG changes, at the time this card was made, the OCG was correct.

As far as OCG errors go, they get changed at a time it is deemed necessary. Sometimes, they even change the effect like here for example.

The good part here is you are refunded the cost. Something a bad player like yourself fails to see as a good thing. That's why I see it as better than the current. But not by much like I previously said.

*PWWBs opponent's Toon World*

No refund.

There is also no refund when one uses Giant Trunade. (Toon decks often main deck Trunade to remove Toon World from the field safely anyways.)

This effect's cost is also higher than the current one, allowing your opponent to swarm enough monsters for game easier.

However, you can have the option to MST this card for emergency LP refund. Also, when you have less than 500 LP, this card destroys itself so you gain back the lost LP.

Both effects have their ups and downs.

Both effects sucks.

Toon World should've had a self-protect effect instead of more life point costs for the theme. >_> *sigh*

Yes, because Trunade-ing your own card for a worse outcome than Storm-ing it is such a pro move that everyone does all the time.

I would rather use this one than the current one. I love the thought that I get my Life Points back instead of them staying gone. And, like someone said about MST, I thought of that as soon as I read the effect. I would probably use Emergency Provisions instead. If I used it in any decks.

Heavy Storm destroys. Destroying Toon World is rather unhealthy for your field.

Unless you wait until your on the brink of deth, then destroy it with MST, Dust, or Storm.

Sacrificing the few toons who need TW is much better than simply losing.

But Trunade-ing keeps your Toons out and gets saves them from being destroyed by taking out that Spell. I think that's what they're going for.

Recovering 1000 Life Points in exchange for a Toon World that could be in your hand and an entire field full of Toons is hardly what I'd call worthwhile. (Sure, you could recover more if you had paid extra 500's, but your net profit versus just using the existing Toon World cannot exceed 1000.)

People who think that the original effect is better effectively think that Dian Keto is somehow smart.

The same people who think Rainbow Life is good

At least Rainbow Life serves as a temporary answer to any OTK other than Exodia, which made it at least passable back when DDT and Magical Explosion were both used and could side into one another.
