Chaos Sorcerer: Still bannable in this meta?

I don't really think that this card is bannable in the current DAD filled meta. Lets compare this card to DAD. This card require 1 Light and Dark monster in your grave be removed form play to SS this card. DAD require you to have exactly 3 Dark monsters. Chaos seems easier to summon. Chaos' effect is to remove 1 monster from play at the cost of an attack. DAD's effect is to remove from play 1 Dark monster in your grave to destroy 1 card on the field. You get a guaranteed destruction of up to 3 cards. And even then, DAD can still attack. Somehow, I just don't see how Chaos Sorcerer should remain banned.

This card would make the meta that much worse.

He is very easy to get out, removes any problem monster, then transforms into a level 8 Synchro.

Still don't see it?

Also we just had a topic like this like a week ago. People need to understand, even if his effect doesn't look uber bad in this meta, a card's banwortyness should never be determined by the meta.

I really want to know what Konami was thinking on this one.

Its Konami.... What do you expect?

Also' date=' It would be kinda ironic/messed up if they all of a sudden limited Thousand Eyes Restrict

[/quote']

True, but they had to be something, unless they have a giant wheel in their office and they spin it to see what cards should be banned/limited/semi'd.

Actually that doesn't seem so out their.

Why would that be ironic? This was because we had like 5 different threads all saying he should be, and, what do you know, Konami thought the same thing.

Why? Without Metamorphasis it is way to slow to do any real harm.

You get a one turn use of its effect and then need to revive it, making this a -1 with a 1000 lifepoint cost that takes two turns.

Not to mention both the Instant Fusion and Revival could be put to better, less situational uses.

As for CS' It was broken then, it's broken now.

How does it take two turns? You only need one to make use of his effect.

How is this situational?

You seem to have forgotten the part where TER eats an opponent's monster before self-destructing.

...How would you only need one turn to make use of said effect? It is a one turn skill drain with the chance to get rid of one monster thats annoying you. But guess what? He can't attack. Amd good luck Synching him like you can with other targets.

You basically need the perfect field to use Restrict's effect with any decency. Also, you need both Instant Fusion and some random revival in your hand.

Hell, he doesn't even get most DARK support since he's a fusion.

EDIT: And Crab, unless your running Call, good luck reviving Restrict before something better stops your combo cold.

Two-turn combos are bad.

Here one turn to use his effect.

Turn 1: Take monster.

Their you made use of it.

Now after that you make more use of it by using it for a tribute.

How do you need to perfect field? All you need is your opponent to have one monster to get use of the effect. From their anything else you can do is gravy. Also why do you keep bring up revival? You don't need to special summon him after you make use of his effect. Besides that you make it sound like it is hard too.

Why does he need Dark support?
