New battle system does look cool, but like most changes it will take time to get use to.

 

I think your reading way to much into this. Since when is pokemon ever THAT deep.

 

They already did the technology thing with the Porygons and they did nature/mystic with Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza.

I know. They have loads of mythical stuff in pokemon, but to have something like nature vd technology is something on a different level of depth.

 

You have a good point, we'll see what happens, think about what makes these Pokemon legendary, Moltres, Zpados & Articuno are legendary, but why, what have they done. Lugia is guardian of the sea & Ho-oh is, i don't know what Ho-oh is but he's legendary, why are Reshiram & Zekrom legendary?

 

The birds are Legendary because they are entities of Ice, Lighting and Fire, respectively. Ho-oh can bring s*** back to life, so of course he's Legendary. And we don't know about Reshiram and Zekrom yet, ofc.

Just like how in the yin/yang symbol the seed of darkness is in the light half and the seed of light is in the darkness half.

In terms of speculation' date=' Zekrom's generator-esque tail seems to give credence to it possibly being an Electric-type. Additionally, if you look at its head appendages, it seems the tip of the one we can see is actually glowing blue, similar to an LED light. This may explain why the rest of its body has some blue lighting on the edges - perhaps it is reflecting the light. Not to mention the fact that the appendages look vaguely similar to lightning bolts. As for Reshiram, as we pointed out the other day, it looks like its tail is made to resemble a torch, complete with a symbolic flame coming out of it. So, it seems we have several theories to explain what Reshiram and Zekrom are - Dragon / Light or Dragon / Fire, and Dragon / Darkness or Dragon / Electric? Hopefully we'll find out soon, but it's fun to always speculate![/quote']

Did anyone else know that Dialga & Palkia can be caught in Spear Pillar in Platinum? I juist found out yesterday. My character is standing in front of the Dialga "Blue Fissure."

I JUST CAUGHT DIALGA WITHOUT HURTING IT, AND ONLY TOSSING 3 QUICK BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

 

EDIT 2: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Palkia wasn't hurt, and I caught it with a Time Ball. Alot of Quick/Time balls + 1 Ultra, 1 Great, and 1 Net. Yayz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you can teach the Entei and Raikou in my Soulsilver how to be good Legendary Dogs and teach them to lie down and enjoy capture while I toss a ball. At them. I've got both of them in extreme red health, Raikou is paralyzed, and Entei is running in its sleep. Tell them to be obedient little dogs while I catch them ^_^

 

On another note, it took you that long in Platinum? I went back to Mt. Coronet the next day and caught them (a few months ago)

Mabe Dialga and Palkia can teach Raikou and Entei to take a ball without question...

Yesterday, I restarted every game in my pokemon games. I restarted FireRed, Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond (haven't started it yet though), and SoulSilver (same as Diamond). When my DS charges, I'll post my team in each game. I'm still early though.

And I don't even care about damn natures for Regirock and Regice (Registeel I want Careful or Impish). AND I CAN'T EVEN CATCH ICE. Granted I only have 29 Ultra Balls since I'm broke (buying TMs from Mauville Game Corner is EXPENSIVE), but I get it down to mid-red HP and paralyze it, and I NEVER CATCH IT. D:

Well I saw a glitch that might be fake but you can try using repel to make it come back. Regice took me a long time also but I was using great balls. I took advantage of false swipe and started hitting away. I recommend just getting a Wall pokemon and use it for catching. While Regice is bashing at the Wall pokemon you're throwing ultra balls trying to catch it.

My team is full of walls. My Magneton can usually get it to red HP after 2 TBolts or 2 TBolts and a Spark (depending on nature and IVs), and TWave it. The rest of my team won't take anything from Superpower, Ancientpower or Icy Wind. BUT THE ULTRA BALLS DON'T WORK.

Sometimes pokemon I accidentally defeat always comeback. Before wild pokemon encounters, I always save it before abttling, so I can go back to it if I defeat it.
