Ultra balls NEVER work. Heck, I tried to catch Raikou the other day. It was paralyzed and literally down to 2 FREAKIN HP and I threw an Ultra Ball. Didn't work. I threw a Dusk Ball. Swiveled once, then Raikou popped out...I threw a Great Ball and it had better luck. I threw a freakin POKE BALL and it had better luck than a Great Ball. I swear, the people who programmed my game chip are stupid. Raikou could use obedience classes.

 

The Regi's were incredibly easy for me. I went in and caught them first try. I don't give a crap about natures. I want my Pokedex full.

That's a misconception. It could just be the RNG really hates you, or is trollin' by giving higher numbers for lower balls. But the actual Catch Rate Formula takes into account the ball you are throwing.

 

I only have 29 Ultra Balls, so if I run out, I'm screwed. That's why I always fail to catch it. I normally would have 60+ Ultra Balls for legends, but I'm broke. D:

My friend got the hack that allows access to Arceus in his Diamond, and so he went in and did a massive ball campaign against it. He had lots of different balls (except Master Ball, he had none). He went in, got Arceus down to 1 HP, paralyzed it and put it to sleep. He threw balls like crazy. Nothing worked. 80 turns pass, and he has 1 Timer Ball left. He throws it and he catches it. I was like this: O_O_O_O A Timer Ball catches the god of Pokemon!? WTF!? How does that work?!

 

Moral: Timer balls, given enough time, yield ripe fruit xD

Oh. I'm catching teh Regis in Platinum. I've caught Ice, I'm going to battle Steel last, and I'm about to catch Rock.

 

Wasn't the villa in Platinum aweshum?

Quick balls are great too. I threw 3 quick balls at Dialga in Platinum, and #3 caught it. I didn't even attack. xD

 

I caught Palkia in a time ball without attacking. xD

I chucked a poke ball at Shadow Lugia in XD and caught it for some stupid reason. I was with my cousin and I'm like "Let's have a look and see if this works. My cousin was like if you catch it with that then I'll give you my shiny ditto. I chuck that poke ball without attacking. It stays in there longer than usual for most legendaries and my cousin was like you gotta be shi--ing me. and the lugia was caught. Little did he know that I made a cheat that stays active even after the code is ineffective. It is the cheat that switches the catch rate with master ball and poke ball.

I still don't know how they expected anyone to figure out the Relicanth Wailord thing though:/ Using an internet guide seems the only possible way.

Blind people read with brail. We were told what to do by things written in brail. So it is thanks to blind people that we learned what to do.

No, what he's saying is how blind people figure out the in-game text. Since Braille is usually in "dot code" (informal name), and you read it by feeling the patterns of the dots. If you are blind, you can't feel the dots through your GBA, so... D:

I have a new team; someone rip it apart. I'll try to give EVs and movesets, but otherwise I'll just list the Smogon set and you can check it yourself.

 

Lead Jirachi

 

Mix Dragonite (Running Thunderbolt over Roost)

I'll replace this with MixMence if he stays OU.

 

Sub Heatran (Running Naive with Explosion instead of Toxic)

 

Wish Clefable (Protect and Toxic)

 

Suicune, Bold w/ 252 HP, 80 Def, 176 SpD (Surf, Reflect, Roar, Calm Mind)

 

Scarfed Mixed Electivire

Mild w/ 176 Atk, 80 SpA, 252 Spe (Thunderbolt, Ice Pawnch, Earthquake, Flamethrower)

 

My team has a HUGE Tyranitar weakness, so I'm thinking of replacing EQ or Flamethrower on 'Vire for Brick Break. I just have to confirm it kills with my EV spread.
