Toffee.
Mummy is pretty cool. Especially against Pokemon that rely on their ability, like Poison Heal Belroom and Pure Power Medicham. You do realize that Mummy is not only an awesome effect, but its also really situational. The opponents Pokemon has to attack Desukan with a physical[/s] move in order for them to get the Mummy effect. .....At least I think.I might have to double check. Dark
So I finally have my Water/Electric type. Ironically it comes in the form of Rotom. So with this gen Rotom's type changes to match the move he gets in his different forms. Any guesses on what will happen to Rotom with this change. Ehh... I thought Electric/Ghost was a fine defensive type, but now that Rotom-H is Fire/Electric, that kind of opens it up to a lot of stuff. Oh, and no spinblocker capabilities. Not like we need it: SR isn't a TM anymore.

Dark
Yes but there is a good chance it'll be a Move Tutor move in Gray. That's really, really awkward speculation. No one has ever predicted what new move tutor moves there would be. :/

Dark
Huh, I never actually noticed that. So good chance that we'll get Dragon/Dark Pulse back as a move tutor, and hopefully we don't get Stealth Rock back. But we most likely will, because even though Nintendo doesn't care about the metagame, they know it exists. :/

Since there will be less spinners now, they might work better now.
OnSlaUghT
Stealth Rock was the Core of the DP meta. It made some types ineligible for play (Poor Charizard). Lets hope we don't ever need to see it again, except for migrated pokemon.
Dark
That being said, do you think Stealth Rock teams will be more effective now? Since there will be less spinners now, they might work better now. lolwut You cannot have a "Stealth Rock" team. In DP the entire metagame was based around it, and it's only one move. You can have an "entry hazard" team, but nothing called an SR team. But the amount of spinners will actually increase, and the amount of spinblockers decreased. Entry hazards are actually less effective now, especially if SR is only available by level-up and migration (no tutor, basically), and if SR gets nerfed in damage (Charizard only takes 25%, et cetera). But still, I fail to see how the amount of spinners will increase as the frequency of entry hazards decreases.
Dark
It was poor usage on my part as well. I didn't mean more spinners would be used, but now we have more viable spinners because there are less spinblockers, and some Gen V Pokemon get Rapid Spin. Force_Flex
Why are they releasing Black and White so much longer in US and UK than in Japan? It doesn't take that long to translate it.... Does it?
Flame Dragon
Cause that is how Nintendo rolls. Really almost all of their games are like that. It sucks, but that's how it is.

Dark
Why are they releasing Black and White so much longer in US and UK than in Japan? It doesn't take that long to translate it.... Does it? Translation is the main reason, since they have to translate every single aspect of the game. Imagine the amount of total compunded text in a Pokemon game. And they can't do basic translations, because then it wouldn't make sense in English. It is translation plus revision.

OnSlaUghT
Since a Hoenn remake is inevitable, who here thinks they should but a Wi-Fi battle mode that allows us to use moves like they were in Gen III (All moves of a certain type being Special or Physical).
