.Frostpaw
Hopefully that Tarantula one' date=' Denchura, evolves from Ariados.I wish that chain was more useful.[/quote'] It better evolve from Ariados. Then I'll have a new use for the two Ariados I trained in Platinum. I need an Sableye evo now. I traded for one on GTS, thinking it might get an evo. I got it for some terribad pokemon that was just sitting in my PC box. xD

Don't really play competitively but wouldn't triple battles open up old strategies of some kind that needed three Pokemon, or at least expand current ones? Dark
Imagine how much team synergy you have to have in triples. In doubles, if you want to use Earthquake, your other Pokemon has to be a Levitator or part Flying-type. Now in triples, you have to account for both of your allies. No thanks, I'll pass on competitive triples.

Βyakuya
Even more new pokemon in the 5th gen. One is a sarcophagus, another is a pigeon, then there's a furry Metagross, A rocky like Groudon, some thing, a lady, a crystal monster, and a random bush thing. Eury
I just noticed noticed this, but the sarcophagus Pokemon's arms look like those things from LoZ Wind Waker. The ones that come out of the ground and try and drag you under. :/

Dark
I do apologize for mini-modding, but I feel that I should say this. Actually, I'm a hypocrite for not following this, but stfu up. All Black and White talk should go in the BW thread, and stuff. While this topic is about Pokemon in general, FD made a thread to discuss BW, and none of us have been using it. Dark
Yeah, that's true. It's going to suck because if multi-target moves get slashed down to 66% as I hope, they will suck. Every multi-hit move will stay the same BP or 1 less, but that is after STAB if applicable. Earthquake from Dugtrio will be 99 BP after STAB, 66 BP before. Water Spout from Kyogre will be 150 BP; 100 BP from anything else. Hell, the only real reason to use Water Spout over Surf on Kyogre is to not hit your allies. This is going to suck. Hell, the only real reason to use Water Spout over Surf on Kyogre is to not hit your allies. This is going to suck.I really don't think their going to weaken duel hit moves. Some of the most powerful (Surf/Earthquake) also hit your allies. Plus some of the moves are staple moves that have gone unchanged since R/B/Y. For a small new mechanic (I don't think this is going to be used THAT much in game) I can't see them making that huge an over all.

Flame Dragon
They will get 1/2 damage...With 2 Helping Hands it's power jumps to 180. With two Minus his special attack jumps to 663. Even with half damage most pokemon are going to take a lot. Also species clause keeps you from using two Minun, but that isn't the point.

Dark
Not really. If Species Clause is null, I'll use three Scarf Aerodactyl all using STAB Rock Slide. Super-awesomesauce flinch chance. :/
Flame Dragon
Refer to this helpful figure I've provided: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2208/pokegate.jpg Venonat and Venomoth are both purple, yes, but Butterfree is (1) also purple, and (2) the same purple as Venonat. Venomoth is lilac, not violet. Your argument supports the hypothesis. As for the discrepancy between Caterpie and Venomoth--that thing just came out of metamorphosis. Furthermore: Butterfree shares Venonat's feet, hands, mouth, eyes, and antennae. This is extremely notable considering the fact that Venonat is nothing more than a purple puffball with said features.Didn't it ever occur to you that Butterfree looks kind of... nasty?Venomoth, on the other hand, has colored wings that shaped like those of a swallowtail butterfly, the same head structure as Metapod, and the same eyes as Caterpie/Metapod. I rest my case, sir. Venomoth looks nothing like Venonat, while Butterfree DOES---and vice versa. The theory, therefore:Game Freak made a programming mistake when coding Red/Blue, and the sprites got switched. They simply covered up said mistake for convenience, and perhaps recolored all official art to reflect the change in canon.
