.Nu-13
Really? Oh, well, i'll wait 2nd Question: With my bro, we have only 1 DS and 1 Flashcart. I play HG, he plays SS. I have, like, Level 70 Graveler, and he has Porygon. We wanted to evolve them, but they evolve through trade. So we thought of something like this: Through HG, i enter Global Trade Station, and offer my Graveler, and Porygon as a want. Then, i reset DS but this time, i turn on SS. Then, i search Graveler in GTS, find the one i offered, and trade it for Porygon. So, I get Graveler to SS, and it evolves. If i turn on HG, will i receive Porygon and it will evolve? Astro Dude
PokeBeach confirmed the general stat focus a while ago. If you're guessing, you'll want to just check.I was assuming sice I saw the pics of the three gen 5 fully evolved starters. But how can the sea otters final form be Water/Fighting. It looks lie it's on all fours. And I thought that the Fire Pig would be a good defender since it looks like it has rock hard abs (My entire arm disintegrated), and I assumed the grass was speedy since it can serpentine without it's arms and legs. Flame Dragon
Some of the new pokemon make me lol. If they end up as OU I'll lol even harder. Any way, we have more types and what not. Also we have an Electric Fish, but it isn't part Water. WHY?!?!?!

Flame Dragon
I'm hoping some of the typing stuff is off, but since I had hoped that about the Fire starter and that wasn't the case odds are we are stuck with a Fish that isn't part water. Dark
A fish that isn't sub-Water? Is it pure-Electric or something stupid like that? <___<
DeathSDelano
Pure eletric... What were they thinking with this one a Fish thats pure eletric it must live in the power plant if this gen has one
Flame Dragon
602/108 - ????? - Basic - Electric: Small fish, white color. 603/109 - ????? - Stage 1 - Electric: Small Lamprey Pokemon. 604/110 - ????? - Stage 2 - Electric: Big Lamprey Pokemon. Green/Blue color and round mouth. Copy paste from Pokebeach. IMO that has to be wrong. It just doesn't add up. Not only that how is a Lamprey electric? DeathSDelano
the same logic they use for everything esle? Mouse = Eletric Squirel= Eletric Monkey= Elemental and fighing and so on its pokemon logic what you expect
Flame Dragon
I find it odd that it's a Lamprey and not an Electric Eel. That's all. And the fact that it's a water based pokemon and not odd water is odd, even with all the stuff pokemon pulls.

Flame Dragon
"Mega Drain now has a base power of 75." o_0 I hope other moves get boosts. I mean really, Grass just got better because of that one small change. I mean the base doubled (almost) and is now one of the strongest grass moves. Now lets see how much a jump Giga Drain makes. Flame Dragon
http://pokebeach.com/news/0910/black-white/new-pokemon/list.html I might have missed counted but around 68 new pokemon are going to be joining competitive play. Some already have crap stats (see link) while others look like they'll be doing a lot. So what pokemon do you WANT to see make the new OU. Off the top of my head two pokemon I've really taken a liking to are the Electric types of the gen, Zebra, Spider, and Lamprey (some how it looks badass BUT ISN'T WATER >_>), so if one of them make OU I'll be happy. Also most seem to have high attack stat(s) and/or speed. Should be a fun meta once we learn how things are going to play out with the new moves and abilities. Dark
Ubers will be the biggest metagame to change. A lot of the legends (and even non-legend Pokemon) easily have the stats to make it into Uber. Let's just hope we don't have Kakuna-like movepools. [spoiler=My Speculations] Jaroda (Tsutaja Final): 75/75 Attack, 113 Speed. BULKY GRASS?! Daikenki (Mijumaru Final): 100/108 Attack, 70 Speed. Like Empoleon? Three elemental monkeys have 101 Base Speed. ...101. Gigaisu, Doryuuzu, both Base 135 metagame. STRONG Physical attackers this gen. Roopushin, 140 Base Attack. Hihidaruma, 140 Base Attack. Aakeosu, 140 Base Attack. Shinpora has a cool sprite. Abagoora has a cool sprite. Zoroark 105/120 Attack, 105 Speed. Mono-Dark is cool. Shubarugo, 135 Base Attack. Nattorei has a cool sprite, and seems like a mixed wall. 89/131/116, Grass/Steel. Gigigear is badass. Ononokusu, Base 147 Attack. And Base 97 Speed. Woah. Kirikizan has a cool sprite. A lot of Pokemon that have Dark types or sub-types. Sazando is Dark/Dragon psuedolegend. 105/125 Attack, 98 Speed. UGH, JUST TWO MORE MAN. Lot of mixed attackers, a lot of physical attackers, few special-only attackers. GameFreak knows about Blissey? Pokemon - Typing - Base Stats (HP, ATK, DEF, SpA, SpD, Spe) Reshiram - Dragon/Fire - 105/120/100/150/120/90 Another 90-Speed Uber, but Special Fire-types are win. Zekrom - Dragon/Electric - 105/150/120/120/100/90 Another 90-Speed Uber, physical Electric as I predicted. Kyuremu - Dragon/Ice - 125/130/90/130/90/95 I'd trade 5 Def and SpD for 6 Speed. This is the "Rayquaza" of the gen, in more ways than one, I feel. It is the third trio legend, and it's the Uber mixed attacker. A lot of Pokemon with awkward Base Speeds, 99, 98, 97, 101, 108. Most of the legends don't have Pressure. <3 The Transfer Machine does not allow you to transfer items. That kind of sucks.
Flame Dragon
Jaroda might end up being really good. I see it working as a Sub Seeder that also takes advantage of the better Drain moves this way it has better ways heal. Granted having Seed + Drain might not be needed. Taking half from Elec, ground, and Water is also really nice. I don't know. And yea, a lot of sweepers this gen. I'll give my thougts later. Dark
I'm not really liking the obvious emphasis towards Physical attackers. I mean, you have Base 140s, 147s, and 130s littering all the fully-evolved Pokemon. I hope OU doesn't become an absolute sweeper-fest. I liked the metagame the way it was a few months before the Salamence ban.
