Jolly, pokerus, and going against ATK specialized pokemon like Lance's dragons

*facepalm*

Its Attack should have been 345 (assuming an IV of 31 in Attack) if you did it correctly. If you DID do it correctly, then your Electivire has an IV of 16 in Attack, and should be replaced ASAP with a better one that you can easily breed by using one of Smogon's many legit redistributable 31/31/31/31/31/31 Ditto.

*jesus facepalm* I said OVER 330 dumba$$, I never gave an exact number. It's stats are 345, 170, 203, 206, and 317. 317 is a hell of a good enough speed to have to use choice scarf. Again. I'll take on anyone here, just to prove that I'm not a complete idiot. I raised them all myself using pokerus and the elite 4 for EV training.

I know what the Pokerus is and all, but how do you get it

There is a random chance of finding it on wild pokemon, about 1 in 21,000. Or you could trade on the GTS, many people consider it good will to provide a pokemon with pokerus.

You DID use power items, right?

The E4 offer more experience.

yeah but you have to battle them in order

the gym leaders can be rematched as many times as you want and provide EVs in a certain stat so you'll never get the EVS wrong.

As for the experience issue, it would be easier to get the EVS first and THEN level up with a lucky egg by battling the E4.

Or you can be like me and clone then import rare candies from emerald for the 90's levels.

There was a list made by a hacker awhile back on pokecommunity that listed the EV's of t he E4.

So, been while since I was here. Looks like we're talking about EV training. Personally I like battling trainers since often times you'll find some one that has a team of Gyarados and can just keep battling to build ATK EVs really fast.

I honestly just prefer finding wild Pokemon hotspots. It's convenient how some routes only have Pokemon that give out one type of EV. That's pretty much the only option now with rematches being cut from BW.

In any case, that's not what we were discussing. I posted a list of all of the nominations from Smogon's suspect test thread, then Jaden came in here trying to brag about his Electivire, then we got here a few tangents later.

They dropped rematches? Sigh. O well.

And this is why I should have read more then just the last page. O well, I'll give me views.

Blaziken I can see where this is coming from since he has done damage to my team in the past, I don't think it's needed. He doesn't get the boost when he comes in (at least I think that is the case) and so that leaves him open on a switch to anything fast, and that is a lot of pokemon. To make sure you get the boost you can use protect or sub, but those eat move slots and Blaze kind of needs 3 attacking moves so your trading out for an attack increasing move, something he also needs IMO.

Darkrai and/or all Sleep-inducing moves Personally I would want to see sleep banned since the bulk of the time it an easy kill. Even so I don't see it happening and so Darkrai should get banned.

Deoxys/A/S. Speed is one of the best set up pokemon ever and he even has decent attacking stats. Attack and normal are ridiculous in terms of sweeping ability meaning they can create a deep scar in most pokemon.

Doryuuzu and/or Sand Throw He's super frail and a fair number of pokemon can take unboosted hits from him. Hell, my Gyara can switch in on a SD and lives though Rock Slide. It might be because my team naturally can take him (Scor, Roobu, and Gyara all make decent checks) but even not counting that he isn't that bad.

Edit: I've just seen one live though my Roobushin Mach Punch at 70%. Might be changing my mind on this.

Manaphy Any pokemon that can get +6 in two turns is trouble. It's ability only makes it worse since even with out drizzle it's not that hard to set up rain giving it a 100% healing move for as long as it's going.

Auto Weather I can understand where this coming from and, TBQH, I'm not sure where I stand on this

Inconsistent I've gone over before why i hate this ability

Latios Again, not sure where I stand

Nattorei Not having a reliable way to heal is what really keeps this pokemon from being good. As is all it has is leftovers a Leftovers and Leech Seed. The fact that he's bait for Heatran (any fire type really) and Mag doesn't help. IMO no a problem.

Sand Veil and Snow Cloak Increases luck aspect of the game isn't good, but the sames problems remain about banning abilities as we've already covered in this thread. Also, it hasn't been game breaking from past experiences.

Shaymin-S Yes please. I do not like a pokemon that can kill it's counters because you get lucky a few times. The fact that s few pokemon normally out speed it only makes it worse.

Weather (in general) While auto weather might be a problem weather as a whole isn't. It creates interesting teams that, like trick room, only have a few turns to work there magic before the power get's turned off

Wobbuffet/Shadow Tag I've gone over why I think Tag should be banned. However since only Wob has the ability and he has no second ability banning Tag is the same as banning him.

Fixed.

As for the bragging of Electrvire, I was merely pointing out that an offensive speed sweeper like Electrvire can cause more trouble then most pokemon on their list. That's why latios is such a problem. As for WtW, there's a WtW glitch that can be activated in New Bark Town using the bicycle. I'll go look for the video later. Glitching/=/hacking

Strangely I think I caught Pokerus from a trainer battle lol, unless that random wild Bidoof had it after I went after the lake Pokemon (I mean 4 wild Pokemon between Flint/Volkner match and getting the Virus...a bit few for a game with how long I play). Shame about the quick immunity, previously I'd only had 2 Pokemon immune, but that's because my Gyarados had it 3 or 4 times. (my Sapphire game had it 3 times alone.)

No rematches *twitches* that sucks majorly.
