You all are complete morons. At least the lot of you.

I don't feel sleep as a whole needs to be banned. I understand the sleep mechanics are horrid now, but if you cannot stay in for two or three turns to rid yourself of sleep, you might not be super-bulky enough to deal with a metagame that has Breloom. It's a bit of a counter to hyper-offense, I feel.

@Arm: It would work if done properly.

@Twig: It's mainly Octillery.

They're not tiering yet. Just banning.

Oh. I heard somewhere that Latios was going to be UU.

Also, I get my collection of FAL2010 Mew's. All useful natures at my disposal :D. Smogon can be so nice sometimes.

I'm kind of pissed at Smogon for manipulating Pokemon to that extent. When they ban stuff that fast, it not only makes them seem arrogant, but it takes the fun out of Pokemon. It's almost like, if a Pokemon isn't the absolute best at whatever it does it's complete trash and doesn't exist. That and the fact that they're banning abilities themselves. It's heresy. I remember Gen III, were the only NU were really weak Pokemon like Butterfree and stuff. But now, OU is only for Pokemon that are absolutely perfect and fit the metagame's mold with complete precision, and everything else gets dumped in NU and UU. [/rant]

I don't even know where to start refuting this.

To start with, people were complaining that they're being too SLOW.

Hell yeah, I'm definitely gonna get me a legit Zorua.

Anyway, I might be making a tutorial on Pokemon Rom Hacking, any thoughts on this?

Well there are legality problems in ROM Hacking. I could help with scripting and stuff though. Mapping too. Just give me a list of tools to work with.

ROM hacking actually is legal if all of the programs used to edit the rom are legal. The rom itself... yeah, that could or could not be illegal.

Hell, if ROM hacking was illegal I'd be in jail for Super Mario World editing, as would thousands of others.

So... fifth generation Pokémon. Favorites and least favorites from what you've seen?

I'd have to say my favorite Pokémon in the Unova Region are the Hitomoshi evolutionary line. Yeah, they're a candle, a lamp, and a chandelier, but if I could have a magical chandelier that flies and is a Fire-Type Pokémon, that'd be just fun.

The only thing illegal about ROMs is distributing them through the internet, but technically, you're allowed to own a ROM of a game you actually own.

Wrong. Outside of Canada (where they explicitly legalized it), the bolded is incorrect. The laws allowing a copy of something you own only count for data stored using certain types of materials, but video games use a different one entirely.
