Almost nobody else was there yet and Mason was the only one signed up for the tourney. He was looking through the cheap cards for Dragunities and was gonna buy any Dragunity he saw like a newfag but I told him not to. I told him the good ones like Vajayjay, Phalanx, and Legionnaire but his mom wouldn't let him buy Vajayjay. I finally got Batteryman Fuel Cells (woo for undersupported archetypes) and searched for Industrial Strengths, Rykos, a 2nd Honest, and Charge. Nobody seemed to have any. I ran my crappy Ryko-less Flamvells with only 2 Rekindling. Mason was using Morphtronics because he's a scrub. I told a few other friends to show but none of them did. There were only a few people there awhile later when a bunch of fat 40 year olds who live in their mother's basements and only have cards like Duallity because their parents support their hobby of playing a children's card game came in and said they wanted to do away with participation packs and only give them out to the top 8. Kevin said it had to be an agreement but nobody was that stupid so it didn't happen. More people show up and the tourny starts. Round 1: Vs old guy playing Dimensional Eatos Game 1: Dimensional Fissure is a fa**** and it raped me up the ass (interesting side note: I didn't get raped up the ass there even with all the pedophiles I saw). Maining 1 MST actually ended up being bad Game 2: Sided in 2nd MST and Prohibation but still got beat. Round 2: Vs some newf** playing "dragons" that didn't even have f***ing REDMD Game 1: I wiped the floor with him. Although there was some weird girl sitting next to him who stole his phone and programmed her number into it and she seemed stalkerish. She didn't understand the game but seemed to be having fun at the tourny. Wtf Game 2: Same as game 1. But then the guy deleted her number and she asked awhile later if she could check if her number was still in his phone and he said it was and she got mad and kept trying to take his phone. Round 3: Vs some newf** playing GK's (who is a stupid ass bandwagoner by playing GK's). stupid f***ing bandwagoners netdecking f***ing YCS decks because they're not creative enough to make a deck and win a YCS themself. Or try atleast. Game 1: His awesome dinosaur card cases weren't enough to survive against me. Game 2: I got beat by Necrovalley because I couldn't draw a MST or a Nobleman. Game 2: 2nd MST was helpful here. It was probably also helpful that he didn't have Royal Tribute :L But I guess since I had Rekindling in my hand from turn 1 both games that it probably would've helped me. Round 4: Vs Gee off playing Quickdraw or Debris (couldn't tell cuz he didn't Summon Quickdraw) Game 1: Bottomless on 3 Rekindled Firedogs hurts. Really badly. But seeing Duality milled was funny. It's what you f***ing get for playing overpriced homo cards. Game 2: I saw a couple misplays on his part. For instance I had Spirit Reaper and he summoned BRD with Debris and Sangan and searched for Lonefire while he didn't have any Plants in Grave. I was about to say "Oh, that's game. You'll just summon Lonefire next turn and use BRD to switch Reaper to Attack and then win." but decided not to. He didn't do it. He Summoned Shooting Star like 5 turns later and I D prison'd it and then he used the above move and beat me. Shows what happens when your mom pays for your Dualities and Warnings. I go to Mason and he was 2-2 also, which is surprising since he won 1 game last time. Not a match, a game. So I was 2-2 and I looked at the placement sheet and noticed that a couple people with 2-2 were gonna top 8. Kevin announces the top 8 and I wasn't in it and then he says to me: "You got 9th." and I was like and then I started trading. I got a 3rd Rekindling, 3rd Spy, a Formula Synchron, a Charge but no Rykos, a 2nd Book, Shooting Star, Rai-Oh, Scrap Archfiend and Red Nova. And then I traded $15 for a MRD Solemn in mint condition, a slightly beat up Honest, and a Trust Guardian. That was cool. But I need a facking Armory Arm so my deck can run ColossalArm OTK because it can easily pull it off. And a Catastor. Or at least an Android. Because Summoning Flamvell Baby with Firedog does nothing if I can't synch with it. After tests with the deck, it's way better now. Shooting Star is a cool guy. So is Card Destruction. Running it in Flamvells by going up to 41 increases consistency. And if you can stay at 40, it's even better. I also thought of a great idea there: Volcanic Shell Flamvells. It seems really cool. Shell gives pluses and is a Rekindling target. Shell + Baby = Formula and Shell + Archer = Armory Arm. Add to that that getting Firedog and Magician in the grave at the same time, it shouldn't be difficult to get Shooting Star or ColossalArm OTK. kthnxbai idk if i censored everything that gets around the swear filter. EDIT: BTH in round 4 is D prison for those who read it before this edit or just don't know how to rtfc. Also, Mason = Spinnychairofdoom, I thought that was an important detail.
