[align=center]Welcome, this is your host, Hunter, and I have asked my good friend and fellow Legendary Cardmaker, Null_ptr to post this contest here. This will be a contest that will stretch your Cardmaking capabilities to the brink of destruction. This contest is not for the faint hearted.

The Winner of this contest, shall become a Legendary Cardmaker. Many contests offer titles, and such, but this title actually means something. Only the very best Cardmakers become LCM.


The idea shall be easy.


There are just 2 rounds. The first round, shall be to weed out the best entrants to move on.


For the First Round...


You shall make 3 cards. No more, no less. Including 1 monster, 1 spell, 1 trap. These cards must support the post-march metagame. They have to actually be usable in the game. I hope that sounds as easy to you as it does I.


First Round Ends Sunday, Mar. 8th.


The Second Round shall be revealed when the first round is completed.



You shall be Graded on your OCG, Effect, Image, and usefulness.


The Legendary Cardmaking Contest Council shall judge you.

Herer are my cards:



If "Endless Pit" is not on the field' date=' this card is treated as a Normal Monster. If "Endless Pit" is on the field and this card is in your foot, this card can attack your opponent directly. If it does, this card's ATK becomes halved during the Damage Step. Once per turn, you can move 1 card on your side of the field to your foot to move 1 monster from your foot to an unoccupied monster card zone on your side of the field.



As long as this card is on your side of the field, you can place cards from your hand and/or your side of the field to your foot (A foot is another row of card zones that you can place monsters, spells, and trap cards if all your other card zones are occupied and/or your hand has reached the card limit. You can attack with monsters and activate spells or traps from your foot as long as this card remains active.) When this card is removed from the field, destroy all cards in your foot.



This card can only be activated when your opponent declares an attack while "Endless Pit" is on the field. Select and destroy cards in your monster and spell/trap card zones until you have 5 cards. Switch those cards with all the cards in your foot.

[spoiler=Effect]This card gets these effects, based on the number of Psychic-type monsters you control.

- 1+: Once per turn, you can increase the Level of 1 face-up Psychic-type monster by 2 until the End Phase.

- 2+: Whenever you would pay Life Points for the effect of a Psychic-type monster, you can instead decrease the ATK of 1 Psychic-type monster you control by an amount equal to the amount Life Points you would have paid.

- 3+: Once per turn, you can select up to 2 of your removed from play Psychic-type monsters and shuffle them into your Deck. Then, draw 1 card.

- 4+: This card cannot be destroyed by other card effects.

- 5: Destroy this card.

[spoiler=Lore]When this card is summoned, you can select and remove from play 1 Level 4 or lower Fiend-Type monster your opponent controls. This card cannot be removed from play by the effect of a DARK attribute monster. When this card is selected as the target of a Trap Card, you can discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand or deck to negate and destroy the Trap Card.

Effect: The Attribute of this card is also treated as DARK, WIND, WATER, FIRE, and EARTH while it is in your Deck or Graveyard. You can pay 1000 Life Points to increase or decrease the Level of this card by 1. When this card is used for a Synchro Summon, both players can discard 1 card from their hand, sacrifice 1 monster he/she controls, and/or send the top 3 cards from their Deck to the Graveyard. For each effect that is activated, that player draws 2 cards.

The Assassin

During your Main Phase, you can select 1 DARK monster on your field. The ATK of the selected monster becomes 800. That monster can attack directly. Every 2 turns, increase the ATK of the selected monster by 400. If that monster would be destroyed, you can change it's Position. At the end of the Damage Step, it is returned to it's original Position.

Sacrifice 2001

This card can only be activated when your opponent attacks you directly and reduces your Life Points to 0. Tribute 1 "Jacques, Lord of Demise" on your field to destroy all cards on the field. For each monster destroyed by this card's effect, increase your Life Points by 200.



Human Error

This card can only be activated when your opponent's monster attacks 1 "Jacques, Lord of Demise" on your field. Increase it's ATK or DEF by 500 during the Damage Step only. If the attacking monster is destroyed, this card is removed from play.

Effect - Activate this card when a monster is sent from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. Select and activate 1 of the following effects:

- Draw 1 card.

- Add 1 card that is currently removed from play to its owner's Graveyard.

- Remove from play 1 card in either players Graveyard.




[spoiler= Spellbook of Crisantius]


Effect - As long as this card remains on the field, when a card is destroyed the owner of the card chooses to either send the card to the Graveyard or remove the card from play ignoring any other Card Effect. Pay 1000 points during each of your Standby Phases if you do not this card is destroyed.

Effect - If this card is selected as an attack target you can send it to the Graveyard before the Damage Step to end the Battle Phase. If you use this effect, you can Special Summon this card during the End Phase. Once per turn, you can remove from play all the monsters in your Graveyard to add 1 card to your hand from the Deck.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. As long as this card remains in your Graveyard, draw 1 card from your Deck each time a monster is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard. You must remove 1 Monster Card in your Graveyard from play during each of your End Phases if this card is in your Graveyard, if you cannot, remove this card from play. You can remove 2 monsters in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. The ATK of this card is equal to the number of Monster Cards in your Graveyard x500. If a monster is sent to your Graveyard while this card is face-up on your field, destroy this card.

Decrease the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters by half. Each time a monster is Special Summoned, that monster is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn it was Summoned. Also, during each player's End Phase, destroy all face-up Spell and Trap Cards that player control (except this card). You can remove from play 10 cards from your Graveyard during your Standby Phase to destroy this card, both players can use this effect.

This card can only be activated when your Life Points are 2000 or less. When you activate this card, add 1 Spell Counter on it. If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card effect, remove 1 Spell Counter from this card instead. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, add 1 card with "The Forbidden One" in its name from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

Well, if you think about this card, there is so many decks this could be used, but i would say mostly in Volcanic engine, Ojama decks (finally way to keep your hand good), Skull Zombie, weak Machine Type monsters, Batterymans, Frogs etc...to use it full potential, obviously you would need to build whole deck around it but it would sure help many decks that doesn't have good chances right now...:)

In new ban list Zombie-Type monsters suffered a lot ( Mezuki, Plague and COSR at 1) so here i got for them new revive monsters that also burns and it is quicker i would say then Giant Germ..there are some already cards for Zombie-Type monsters that burn so this could maybe enable Zombie-Type burn deck..

This is one of my favorite cards i have ever made because it is really creative&original and if u notice, it stops really good current metagame top tier decks, and make players think how they will manage their graveyard..obviously controller of this card got some advantage over it effect so he can manage his graveyard easier then opponent...

Because some mistakes could happen in understand it effect here are some examples how it works :

-your graveyard is your top 3 cards of your gy and opp gy is their 3 cards of their gy so that means for example, if card says remove from play all cards in your graveyard - only top 3 cards of your graveyard would be removed from play...

-neither player cannot target any card that is not in top 3 of any players graveyard..
