How come i never heard of some of these heroes?

because, the main aim of this thread, is too create heroes from marvel that lost their appeal to early or were forgotten. Everybody knows the X-men or Spiderman, but who remembers the Black Panther and Quicksliver.

 

Who made what?

As from 14/3/09, me and 'Middletond' joined forces to make "Marvel Hero" cards, also 'Hallelujah Haptism' joined 22/3/09, other YCM members have asked permission to make some cards, such as; 'The Tin Trooper' and many other great contributers :D, you can see who made which card in the bottom of the card where the creators name goes. :)

 

Wheres Batman and superman?

Those are characters from DC comics, a huge rival for Marvel, just like Coke is to pepsi, or Manchester united to another football team (i don't like football).

 

Why use 'Marvel Hero'

Because, much like destiny heroes or elemental heroes, this is a whole new arch-type. with hero related cards, also the hero staples such as 'warrior returning alive' and 'reinforcement of the army' etc. Its just to generalize support cards.

Due to popular demand both on thread and by PM, i am accepting other members to make Marvel cards regardless of stars or REP. As long as the card is worthy of being placed in the gallery and is presentable enough by my standards, it will be displayed.

 

Send me your ideas via PM (make all their codes STAN-EN000)

 

Make sure its a monster/ effect, following the basics of the Marvel hero's shown, make common hero cards (iron man, hulk, spider man, captain America, cyclops, night crawler, magneto, prof X etc.)

 

After checking for OCG errors and finding images if needed, I will place them in the 'legendary' section (which is openly available for other people to make cards for ;)

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Iron Spiderman[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 2 face-up Machine-Type monsters you control. Increase this cards ATK by 200 for each face-up Machine-Type monsters you control. Decrease this cards DEF by 300 for each face-up Aqua-Type monster on the field.

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Boomerang[/b]]

When this card destroys a monster, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls and send it to the Graveyard. Place Marvel Counters on this card equal to the level of the destroyed monster's. Remove 10 Marvel Counters from this card to negate an attack on 1 monster you control.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Symbiote Venorpion[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing a "Marvel Hero Venom" and a "Marvel Hero Scorpion" from your side of the field or your Graveyard from play. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Marvel Counter from this card to activate one of the following effects:

- Switch 1 face-up Attack Position monster into Defense Position.

- When this card destroys a monster, draw 1 card.

During your End Phase, that this card battled a monster, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Venom" or "Marvel Hero Scorpion" from your Graveyard to the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Symbiote Wolverine[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing a "Marvel Hero Venom" and a "Marvel Hero Wolverine" from your side of the field or your Graveyard from play. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card battles with a monster, increase this card's ATK by 1000 if you control another monster with "Symbiote" or "Venom" in it's name. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Venom" or "Marvel Hero Wolverine" from your Graveyard to the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Symbiote Black Cat[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing a "Marvel Hero Venom" and a "Marvel Hero Black Cat" from your side of the field or your Graveyard from play. When this card inflicts battle damage, randomly send 1 card in your opponent's hand to the Grayeyard. During a turn this card does not attack, add 1 Marvel Counter to this card. By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, you can add 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard to your hand. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Venom" or "Marvel Hero Black Cat" from your Graveyard to the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Symbiote Electro[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing a "Marvel Hero Venom" and a "Marvel Hero Electro" from your side of the field or your Graveyard from play. During each of your Standby Phases, place 1 Marvel Counter and 1 Shock Counter. Once per turn by removing any number of Marvel Counters and 1 Shock Counter, increase your Life Points by 200 for each Marvel Counter removed. Once Per turn by removing any number of Shock Counters and 1 Marvel Counter, inflict damage to your opponent by 200 for each Shock Counter removed. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Venom" or "Marvel Hero Electro" from your Graveyard to the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Symbiote Vulture[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing a "Marvel Hero Venom" and a "Marvel Hero Vulture" from your side of the field or your Graveyard from play. When you or your opponent activates a Spell or Trap card, place 1 Marvel Counter on this card(max.8 ). By removing 1 Marvel Counter from this card, you can negate the activation of 1 Spell or Trap Card and inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Marvel Hero Venom" or "Marvel Hero Vulture" from your Graveyard to the field.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Zombie Hulk[/b]]

You can Normal Summon or Set thia card without Tributing. If you do, it's original ATK is 1600. As long as this card is on the field, your opponent cannot acitvate any Normal Spell Cards. When this card is destroyed by a Level 5 or higher LIGHT monster, you can Special Summon 2 Level 3 or lower DARK Zombie-Type monsters from your hand or Graveyard.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Zombie Surfer[/b]]

This card cannot be Special Summoned. As long as this card is on the field, increase the ATK of all Zombie-Type monsters by 700. If this card is destroyed by battle, you can decrease your Life Points by 1000 to Special Summon "Marvel Hero Zombie-Spider" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Zombie Venom[/b]]

If "Marvel Hero Zombie-Spider" is destroyed when this card is in your Graveyard, you can pay 900 Life points to Special Summon this card. When this card battles a monster, you can pay 600 Life Points to increase the ATK of this card until the end of the Damage Step. If this card is destroyed by a monster effect, you can draw 2 cards.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Zombie Spiderman[/b]]

If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of "Marvel Hero Zombie Surfer", this card cannot be destroyed by battle. As long as this card is in your Graveyard, decrease the ATK of all monsters on your opponent's field by 600. If this card is destroyed by a Spell or Trap Card, You can Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your Deck.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Marvel Hero Deapool (Alternate)[/b]]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from your Graveyard 2 monsters with "Marvel Hero" in their name. Each time a with "Marvel hero" in their name is summoned add 1 Marvel Counter to this card (max.5), remove 5 Marvel Counters from this card to Special Summon 1 card with "Marvel hero" in its name from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard. If this card destroys a monster by battle, it can attack once again in a row, if this effect is activated, no Spell or Trap Cards you control can be activated. When this attacking monsters ATK is higher than the DEF of the defending monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponents Life Points.

DC- As from recent interest from 'Spartan Gio', we have both decided to join a sort of alias, although, he is still competing against my thread, i feel that it will help his thread grow, as i cannot simply take all the victory. That is why, i have made a DC link in this post, he has the same thing in his thread except it says MARVEL, this way, we can link back to one another's threads easier. :)

 

Others- I feel that only the good Pop Culture threads should be all linked, so if i spot a good thread, I offer the ability to be linked here at the cost of advertising this thread (and possibly others) in theirs. Hopefully, this will help get all the good threads more commonly viewed.

i am planning on doing more counters, deadpool was the first counter orientated monster, the next card I'm making (mr. sinister) will have counter effects ;)

i will not make iron man because of his commonality and popularity, it will be jsut nother one, i am making uncommon marvel heroes not many people will have heard of (unless they are marvel fans like me) :P

I found some OCG errors. gain=increase. Replace it with that word and it should be find. The cards seem decent.
