The anime is also good, but I was surprised to see Lief as a blonde. I can't really remember what the hell went on in that series. Although I do remember shiny covers and a rather epic looking knight. For some odd reason, this reminds me of Garth Nix's "6 Towers"... It should be a series of 7 movies, for (supposedly) 7 books. And the monsters were awesome. I have the How to Draw Deltora Monsters Book, and I can draw some sick dragon and Ak-Baba now :).
