Felix
Marriland is an overated battler, mine Pokes are better than his. It's debatable if I could beat the guy. Plus, chances are it was some n00b copying his name. Oh' date=' yeah, that gives me alot of help... [/quote'] Sorry it was late. Get Flame to help he has a good one. A major must for your team would be a scarfed/banded Flygon. Tyranitar and Hippowdon are there for obvious reasons, Magnezone, Vaporeon, Spiritomb are also good options. Try to think is you want stall or offensive. I can see stall working better but it's harder for novices to pull off.

Plus, chances are it was some n00b copying his name.[/quote']He has said that people overrate him, but he is still good. I don't know if your poks are better then his old team, but he has said that he has several new teams that makes his old team look like a joke. Yea that is most likely the case since I don't think he uses Marriland in his games. Skarm Bliss also works well in SS teams since that team likes to stall. Side from that you couuld drop Skarm for Forrtress since it can also put up Toxic spikes. In fact I think that would be that better choice. So you have Forrtress T-Tat/HippBlissFlygon
Felix
He is good but there are people like mtgxerxes that would tear him up. My Pokes specifically are most likely better than his but his teams as a whole will probably be better constructed. Also Dugtrio would be pretty nifty in stall team. Toffee.
lol@Noobs using Marriland's name. Its almost as bad as people who use the name 'Zezima' and claim they are the real thing >___> Also, Why use Vaporeon?(Sorry, I'm not mutch of a nazi when it comes to the Pokemon games itself, I usually just play to try and beat the game and then usually cheat like crazy, Since I beat it and all) And I take it, That a Sandstorm team revolves around Spikes/Toxic Spikes/Stealth Rock/Sandstorm/[insert move here that adds to the chpping away of the opponet's HP] right?
Felix
That's only Stall Sandstorm, there are offensive teams as well. Vaporeon would be good in SS temas because Ground and Rock Types turn up a lot in SS teams so a Water immunity with healing effects is a good combo. Plus Vaporeon is one of the best Wish Passers in the game and it makes a good Gyradose counter with HP Electric. That's why.
Toffee.
That's only Stall Sandstorm' date=' there are offensive teams as well.[/quote']Wouldnt an offencive verson of a Sandstorm Team just defeat the purpose of it? Plus Vaporeon is one of the best Wish Passers in the gameI take it' date=' That its "one of the best" because it knows Baton Pass, Wish, [i']And[/i] Aqua Ring, right?and it makes a good Gyradose counter with HP Electric. That's why.I'm assuming Gyradose is like a staple/Easy beatstick/generic over-used Pokemon. And whats HP Electric? Volt Absorb? *confused here*
Felix
It's the best Wish Passer because of its huge 463 Max HP, average DEF and good SpD. Plus it has a nice base 100 SpA which means it has the power to take on tough apponents as well. Oh and Batton Pass is unecerssary on Pure Wish Passers because switching will more often than not be more effective. Hidden Power Electric, 4* effective on Gyradose. It doesn't initiate an instant OHKO because Gyradose is a freak but it's takes off a big chunk. And yes Gyradose is OU abbused.
Toffee.
.....How exactly would it get the Electric Type Hidden Power anyway? With all the variables to that move, Wouldnt it be relatively hard to get the Electric verson? o_O Still, Good points thare about Vaporeon ;)
Felix
Hidden Power is controled by IVs. If you know what IVs you need you can breed selectively till you get them. It's not that difficult when you know what you're doing. For example a Fighting Type Hidden Power occurs if all your Pokemon's IVs are odd numbers, although HP and ATK don't need to be. Hidden Power is a 100% viable move on any Special Attacker.
Taichi Masaki
Anybody know a good pokemon to beat Cynthia's Garchomp?I was thinking about getting an ice one until I found out that it has Flamethrower and will always go first. It's always the second Pokemon she sends out on me also! Right after Spiritomb.
Felix
What do you mean always go first? Flamethrower isn't a priority move so you can just out speed it if you have something faster. Just teach one of your guys an Ice move or train them to an obcene in game level.
Toffee.
Well guys, I made it to Lucian(I have to yet to face him, but still... Hes the 4th member of the DRK crew... WAIT A MINUTE!) Tekken Ham
I r raising teh Rotom-H becuz it are look awesom and it kicks ass. lolololololololololololololololoolololol. In all seriousness though, would Rotom-H with Trick and a Scarf work as support for a team to stop walls? AuschwitzRotom-H @ Choice ScarfModest OverheatT-BoltWill-O-WispTrick It counters most walls with Trick and physical sweepers with Will-O-Wisp. Is it anywhere near remotely good?
Felix
Rotom H is like the best counter for Scizor there is, thinks to a reistance from both STAB and immunity to other moves that it has, watch out for random Night Slashes though. If you have another Pokemon to dish ot status Shadow Ball would be better as you can have another STAB move, which is always good on Scarf Pokes. So long as you try to get safe switches into stuff with this thing it can be very use full for your team. When you've killed everything that this can conter you can screw over defensive whores like Blissey and get a Leftovers, which means it becomes a different weapon in your team. There are support sets but support Scarfers don't exist. The new Rotoms also serve as the ultimate Spin blockers which are very usefull in drawn out matches. EDIT: So yes they're good. If you want to test a team out do it on Shoddy Battle, it also makes for great practice.
