IC: Gamma starts laughing maniacally, which Damian now finds attractive, while Itsu looks on, very sad at her boyfriend abandoning her for Gamma. (Itsu: 2600 LP)

"Damian...why?!?" she protests.

"MWA HA HA HA!!! This game now has an extra element to it!!!" Gamma replies. "Every time we take damage, Damian loses interest in the one who received damage, and gains feelings for the other!!! Now, you not only have to fight for you life, you have to fight for your relationship too!!!"

"If that's the way you want to play, I end my turn."

Damian, although attracted to Gamma, still blurted out in rage; "Hey! Why am I having my love life controlled here?!" But his anger seemed less focused on Gamma, his eyes seeming to go plain. (ooc: Like Tea's eyes lose the light in them and become a solid colour when she looks into the pyramid of light in that awful yugioh movie)

 

He now just looked on, unable to let out any more of those angry shouts...at Gamma. He seemed to be almost emotionless in this state.

 

ooc: YET?! ZOINKS! (sorry - side effect of listening to scooby doo music...namely the hex girls songs.)

OOC: Gamma's using her empathic abilities, along with some telepathic suggestion, to semi-hypnotize Damian into liking her.

IC: "My turn." Gamma declared.

"I Normal Summon Grapple Blocker in Defense Mode." (2000 DEF)

Grapple Blocker's tentacles then wrapped around Tiger Dragon.

"Now you can't attack or Tribute Tiger Dragon for any Summoning!" Gamma declared.

"I end my turn." (Gamma:3000 LP)

 

"My go!" Itsu cried, wiping her eyes in the same motion as her card draw.

(OOC: I'm running out of variations on the phrase "My turn."....)

"I Tribute Magna Drago to Special Summon Strong Wind Dragon in Attack Mode!" (2400 ATK -> 3100 ATK)

A powerful-looking greenish-blue dragon appeared in a sudden gust of wind.

"Time to finish this! Strong Wind Dragon, attack Grapple Blocker!"

Strong Wind Dragon blew away the tentacled monstrosity, which released Tiger Dragon. (Gamma:1900 LP)

"Now, Tiger Dragon, attack Gamma directly!"

But, as Gamma was about to be sliced by Tiger Dragon's claws, she grabbed Damian and placed him in front of her, causing him to be slahed instead of her. (Gamma:0 LP)

"This isn't over!" Gamma ran off as she clutched her head from the psychic feedback of two poerful attacks, running away from Itsu.

Gamma's AKI Primes followed their mistress, leaving Itsu beside a dying Damian.

As Damian fell to the ground, his eyes restored to normal. he felt like he was going to go at any moment, but he also felt his affection for Itsu return. "Iz...Iz..." he tried speaking in pain.

Hikari pulled a deck of cards out of her skirt pocket.

"Now, its time to unlock what you have once lost." she said, putting the deck in her duel disk and activating it.

Zarkus activated his own duel disk, and a circle of purple flames surrounded both of them

"What's going on here?"

"You'll see, but in the meantime, you go first."

Zarkus drew 6 cards from his deck

"Its my turn. I set a monster in defense mode, and set 2 cards. Turn end..."

"My turn. I activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen and use it to summon Fallen Angel Asmodeus. I then discard Fallen Angel Superbia to Special Summon Dark Grepher. I then tribute Dark Grepher to summon Fallen Angel Ede Arai, and attack your face-down!"

"Trap card, open! Waboku!" he said, as the attack hit his face-down Gellunduo.

"I set two cards myself and end."

OOC: Lugia, you have a very difficult choice to make....

IC: Itsu was thinking about whether to heal Damian, but the wounds were very deep, and her was losing blood fast.

Delta assessed the situation, and offered the two of them advice.

Damian. Itsu. I have woked out two possible scenarios.

Itsu, you can try to heal Damian, but it will rapidly age him and take 10 years off of his life at the least. This means that Damian will age about 10 years, but that's the best case I can calculate. He might not make it for Itsu's healing to work fast enough.

Or I can integrate myself into Damian more heavily than I currently am, enough so that his injuries will heal during the conversion process. I think I can keep Damian male, as well as keep my psyche and Damian's separate, but there is a chance of partial integration.

Damian, the choice is yours:

Lose 10-20 years of your life, and keep your identity, or become a cyborg like Itsu and live forever, yet possibly have what is you mixed with what is me?

Damian, barely able to keep his eyes open, took a few seconds, which seemed like hours, to decide. he took one deep breath in order to say;

"...Izzy...forgive me...please..." his voice weakened mid-sentence as he became closer to death. "...Delta...initiate...the...second...plan..." he would rather live with Itsu forever than lose 10 or 20 years that he could spend with her. As his head fell back to the ground, he neared unconsiousness, his fate decided.

IC: Very well, then. Delta replied, then paused for a few seconds.

Itsu. Use your healiing abilities to stabilize Damian, but don't heal him. And whatever you do, don't agitate his immune system.

Delta started to progress up Damian's arm like they normally do when "armoring" Damian, but this time eating up Damian's clothes instead of merely storing them.

The "conversion" also sucked back in most of Damian's lost blood, as well as healing his wounds.

Unfortunately, this was quite painful to Damian, as he realized, from Delta's memories, why the subjects screamed from the pain: the nanobots ate their subjects.

But then he realized that he had never had access to Delta's memories before.

he searched his mind some more and found a tidal wave of 15 years worth of memories, which overwhelmed him.

When Damian's mental image of himself opened his eyes, he saw Delta as she remembered herself: shoulder-length, spiky gold and silver hair, a silver and green-blue body, and light-blue circuitry with icy-blue eyes. Her "mask" pulled back, to reveal a feminine version of Damian's face.

The Delta image then stabbed Damian's image in the gut, causing a silver liquid to cover him.

Damian lost "consciousness" as the slime engulfed his face.

"Damian....."

"Damian....." Itsu called from beyond the world of dreamless sleep.

Damian began to open his eyes to see Itsu looking down at him.

He also saw some sort of Heads-Up Display in his mind, that displayed "Duel System on Standby".

This is the way that Itsu and Vicky see the world. Delta replied, her mental voice now just sounding like a female version of Damian's own voice.

Damian looked down at his hands, which were now the same as his "armored" form.

He was now permentantly merged with Delta.

Damian Atlas was now a cyborg.

The mark of the Star appeared on his back, and the Geoglyph of the star appeared in the sky, glowing with a white flame. Zarkus's Dragon mark on his arm dissapeared, as if it merged with the mark of the Star. Zarkus looked at the card, and gasped

"Could it be...?"

"Play it, awaken your true self!"

"I summon Dark Grepher from my hand. And then I use this! I activate... United Fighting Spirit!"

 

 

This card can only be activated when you have no other cards on the field, or by tributing 2 monsters. Remove from play every monster in your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. Special Summon 1 whose card text contains this card. If this Face-down card is destroyed, you can activate it during the turn it was destroyed. The activation and effect of this card cannot be negated.

Damian looked at Itsu.

"Hi..." he said, feeling much better. He got up. "...So...I...I'm...Let's just go." Damian didn't want to think about it too much, and just hugged Itsu before rushing onward.

IC: Itsu then looked at Damian, ran to the spot she was at when she dueled Gamma, and activated her Duel Projector.

Damian saw a message display "Opponent Duel System Activated. Respond? Yes or No"

He then realized why Itsu and Vicky didn't need any sort of indicator on their Duel Projector, they had it in their head.

Delta quickly gave him a basic guide of his internal systems before handling the message.

So, you want to duel Itsu? she asked.

Damian felt worried that what had happened earlier with Gamma had made Itsu upset with HIM. Damian, in his mind, selected yes and turned to look at Itsu as his projector activated. "Why are you being like this, Itsu?" Damian said, realising he'd referred to her as Itsu rather than Izzy again ,despite the fact that he always calls her Izzy when facing her.

IC: Itsu seemed a bit sad at hearing Damian not calling her his nickname for her.

"I'm going to win you back through dueling!" she declared as she "drew" her hand.

Damian "drew" his hand, which displayed itself in his field of vision, but something was different.

His deck seemed to consist of DARK versions of familiar monsters, as well as some DARK support and his Virus cards.

James ran in right before Itsu and Damian started dueling. he noticed that damian had a weird armor on, and was acting weird. "What's going on?" asked James.

ooc: edited character's decks. I have removed all but the plant and added Virus and DARK plant.

 

"Win me back? Its--Izzy, you're not still thinking I like her do you?" Damian said, the cards in his view going to the bottom of the screen/FoV* and shrinking so he can see them and Itsu at the same time. He started the duel off as a sixth card appeared in his FoV.

* OOC: Field Of Vision

IC:

"I summon Poison Nettle! Now I use its effect and add 1 Spell Card to my hand from my deck. I choose Double Summon. I Use double summon and then play Malicious Rose. Malicious Rose allows me to activate a Trap Card on the turn it is set, so I set and activate my crush card virus!"

 

As the rose appeared, the virus landed on the Nettle and it crumbled. Itsu's duel projector began to let sparks fly and sent little electric shocks to her.

 

"My Poison Nettle has no ATK and is DARK, so it'll do nicely for the virus. You now lose all monsters in your hand and on your field with an ATK of 1500 or more for the next 3 turns. I set 2 cards and then activate Viral World. End turn."

 

The area suddenly felt sickening and the walls were replaced by floating spiked balls with "感染" written on them in green.

OOC: 感染 means infected

"Viral World means I do not require to pay life points to activate a Virus card, but any other tributes or requirements are still needed. Also, the effects of your Trap Cards are negated if they affect a Virus card or even Viral World itself."

A small red dragon and a large brown dragon appeared on Itsu's field. (1400 ATK) (2000 DEF)
