Zack sat in frustration as he stared into the symbol of the one thing he just wanted to avoid: an abnormal life. He began to think about the pros and cons of living life the way Garnet, Athrun, Luke, Ryu, etc. lived. With strange powers and dark forces, battling them. It could be fun learning to control and utulize his powers, as well as being a hero, possibly. He began to think about the cons. Life is not a fairy tale where everyone wins and turns out happily ever after. Which means he could not be a hero, and be completely ignored, and work hard as the things he dreamed, the things he worked so hard for, were handed to other people. Yet at the same time, no one gained anything without taking a chance. Life is unpredictable, and you never know what might happen next, so it could make it all the more fun when you live the life his other friends do. He continued to think and debate within himself as he stared into the ticking clock of inevatable destruction and death.

Garnet nodded, then rummaged in her bag and pulled out the beetle and camcorder. She teleported to just outside the cave and sent the beetle scurrying in. She saw an image and at once returned to her dad. She gave him the camcorder. "Here you go."

Sin was looking at a stone tablet with slots where the Millenium Items could fit. The Rod, Scale, Key, Necklace and Eye were already secure in their respective slots. "Just 2 more to obtain. The Puzzle and the Ring must be secured before the Dark Master is revived. And once he is....everything and everyone on this island will be lost!"

Scarlet gave up on trying to find her 3 Dark Dragons and grabbed her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder while she got up off of the forest grounds. As she got up, thoughts of where the 3 Dragons might be sprouted into her mind as she desperately tried to figure out where she left the legendary dark trio. "Come on Brain... Dont forget where I left the best cards ever made, where did I put them..." Scarlet said to herself, trying to encourage herself to remember the trio's location.

OOC: I swear, if you are talking about "him" that I was going to use in my first RP that could've been AWESOME I will stab you in the eye. Once I find something to stab you with.

 

After a long time of contemplation, a whole 5 minutes, the one and most important thing hit his mind like a giant mallet smashing a blade of hot steel. The responsability. He would have to deal with the responsability of the great power he would one day possess, and as he grew stronger, so would the weight of the responsability. Besides, Garnet, AJ, Luke, Crystal, Ryu, all the people that were involved knew what they were doing. He could just leave it to them. He then began to think of the worst case scenario. What if they failed? What if they just couldn't do it? What if he decided just not to get involved? The whole island, and all it's inhabitants, would be destroyed. And if early childhood television taught him anything, it would be that the whole world is always at stake with these kinds of plans.

After an even longer time of concentration and deep thought than she had ever done before, she smashed her fist up against the bark of a tree, growling deeply as she did so. She had forgotten where she had placed the most important possessions to her of all, the legendary trio of Dark Dragons. After another few moments of thinking, she smashed another fist into the tree, growling deeply yet again.

Zack stared into the clock of doom for another five seconds, until he slowly rose to his feet, fists clenched, he had had his epiphany/revelation. His wings gloriously flew out of his back in full wingspan, and yellow spines with curves grew out of his back, going down his spine. The curves faced downward, as if they were tiny fins. He unclenched his fists, and yellow claws grew from the tips of his fingers to about three or four inches, and he turned to face the light that shone down from the surface. He slowly walked toward the heavenly light, until he finally entered it. His wings shone, as well as his spines along his spine and his claws on the tips of his fingers with a magnificent light. He put his right clawed hand up towards the light, as they shone brighter, and opened his hand even more, as if taking in the light, and savoring it.

"Well i know from our last meeting that Bakura still has the ring somewhere so Sin may have a probelm obtaining it. The puzzle however is unknown in location."

 

"Then how are we going to find it?" asked Ruby after appearing by his side. AJ shrugged.

 

"Not sure, but for now it's best not to bring attention to ourselves. For now let Sin do what he wants. His actions will give us an idea to where to puzzle might be."

"Hmmm..." Garnet said nothing else fort a while as she focused on mentally programming the beetle to follow Sin wherever he went. Meanwhile Jezza and Hamster had taken the chance to get into an argument about where to go to find James next. They reminded Garnet of the Coll Wall momenrs.

Zack stared up into the surface of the campus from the gaping hole below. He knew now, without a doubt, this is what he was meant to do. He also knew, that there was no turning back. He then dismissed the last thought as over drama and sucked all of his curved spines and his claws into his body, and crouched down, preparing to jump. His wings moved upward, preparing to launch Zack up into the air and out of the hole. In one swift movement, he lept upwards, with his wings smashing the wind downward, causing Zack to fly into the air like a bullet. He used his wings to land on the surface carefully, with his toes landing first, and then his heels.

 

Then, one final, most important thought rushed into his mind as if it were the one most important thing he forgot, that he feels like an idiot for forgetting. He then smiled, and said in a calm, and finally at peace tone "Lunch."

After looking over the items he now held he smirked evilly to himself. "Since i've done my searching today, why don't i go and have some fun." He then teleported towards the docks. He knew exactly how to kill time.

At the docks Athrun and Joanna where talking about classes. "I can't believe i have a 2 page essay on Ritual Monsters due thursday." Joanna gave him a simpathedic look.

 

"That stinks. At least you don't have a test on Synchro monsters tomorrow. I still have to study." Athrun laughed. Menahwile Sin was spying from the top of the lighthouse.

 

"Yep. I know just what to do."

[Naimo]

"Uh oh..." Garnet teleported to the docks at once. "Athrun, Joanna, get out of here now. Sin's nearby," she added in an undertone.

Joanna noticed the appearance of the girl and turned to her. "Hey Garnet, but who are you talking about? Who's Sin?"

 

"That would be me my dear." All 3 turned as the figure bowed and walked towards them. Athrun clentched his fists.

 

"What are you doing here?" he demanded, but Sin just smiled.

 

"Killing sometime." he smiled with a crazed look on his face and he suddenly materilized a sword in his hand. "And maybe someone!"

[Infinitus]

Zack then said with such glee and excitement Spongebob would eat his heart out "Hey! Maybe I can teleport!" In one swift thought, all the happiness blew away, and Zack said "But how do I do it?" He simply tried thinking and concentrating on the cafeteria, and in a flash of light carried him away to the cafeteria in a matter of mila seconds. In his mind. In reality, nothing happened, and he opened his eyes with disappointment. He then crouched in sorrow and said "Then, exactly what CAN I do?" At that very moment, his spines flashed out of his back, and they were a full 5 inches longer than they were before. At that moment, he turned into a high speed spinning ball of white and slightly yellow, and gained insane amounts of speed as he spun rapidly in place. He then dashed off in a flurry of light in his ball like form for about 24 inches and turned back with the same amount of speed, and repeated the process about 5 times.

Garnet's hands closed into fists and fires wrapped them. "I don't think so. I won't let you kill." Suddenly, out of the blue and through her anger, she quite accidently created a falchion. The blade had a thick, clear coating of what Garnet suspected was diamonds. Whether she was right or not, she was ready to fight.

[Infinitus]

Zack then stopped, with his mind spinning with confusion and a powerful head ache. He was up on his feet, with his wings curved around Zack like a shell. He then assumed his wings covered him during his ball form. He then said with twice the glee and excitement as before "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! I'm a human pinball!" He crouched down again immediately, and he spun at extremely high speeds it would make your head spin about 10 times. Until he finally sped towards the docks at high speeds, and arrived in a matter of seconds. He spun around the group of people about five times, before smashing into Sin at the high speeds he was at.

[~Kefka~]

Sin continued foward but created a doppleganger with a similar weapon. "Take the girl. The others are mine." The doppleganger nodded and flew foward to clash swords with Garnet. Meanwhile a dark aura appeared around Athrun's hand.

 

"Get back!" he fired a blast of energy towards Sin but the dark being reflected it. "Ngh!"

 

"Hmph, simple tricks." He fired a pulse at Athrun and knocked him acrossed the ground a few yards. He looked up and saw Sin making his way towatds Joanna.

 

"Joanna, don't just stand there! RUN!!!"

[Infinitus]

OOC: Um, what about Zack accidentally smashing into Sin in his rushing ball form?

[Naimo]

The blade clashed onto the falchion. At once Garnet kicked the doppleganger in the stomach, sending him flying backwards. Taking the chance she ran at the doppleganger, leapt into the air and stabbed the sword down at the throat of where the doppleganger lay.

Joanna didn't move. Nor could she. She was frozen in fear due to the approacing maniac. "Why so afriad? Am i really that terrifying?" asked Sin with a smirk. Elsewhere the doppleganger was battling Garnet. "Don't tell me this is the best you can do?" Sin got closer still. Athrun looked towards them and saw Garent was still busy with the replica. He did what hit him. He got up and ran towards them.

 

Sin reared his sword back. "This will be quick." Joanna stood there petfied with fear. The sword came down. Joanna waited for the strike but it never came. She opened her eyes. Athrun was in front of her. Hands outstretched, a large slash now layed acrossed his chest, blood pouring from the wound.

 

"ATHRUN!!!!!!"

Everything seemed to slow down for Garnet as she saw her brother collapse, bleeding terribly. She screamed a cry and felt Hamster and Jezza appearing beside her. His bracers glowing, Hamster clung onto Jezza and the two ran at a super speed, simultaneously smashing two strong fists into the doppleganger's face, causing him to collapse backwards, blood coming from his jaw. Using this as a good distraction, Garnet dashed over to Athrun, her hand in her bag. When she took it out a shower of white powder splattered Sin in the eyes. Taking chance of his 5-minute blindness she began to heal Athrun, using powers she did not know until now. The spell went rolling off her tongue and she watched as the wound slowly began to heal.

The wound began to slowly heal but Athrun was still bleeding badly. His breathing became difficult. Sin smirked and darted towards the children. "Now for the other one!"

 

"STAY AWAY FROM MY CHILDREN!!!" a powerful blast of dark energy nearly hit Sin but blasted away the doppleganger. AJ was darting towards Sin at high speed. A look of blind rage on his face.

[Naimo]

Garnet wanted to talk but suddenly another figure appeared behind Sin, holding onto a staff styled like Silent Magician's. There was a bang and Sin was hit in the back of the head with a blast. The figure teleported to beside AJ.

 

"Hello darling," said Crystal. "I got your tip off, looks like I arrived just in time." She saw Garnet healing Athrun and her jaw dropped.

Sin smiled "Aw, the entire family is here. However i think my work is done, hahahaha!" with that he disappeared into a dark mist. Joanna was beside Athrun tears falling from her eyes.

 

"Athrun....please be ok...please..." she felt the warm tears flow from her eyes. AJ and Crystal both made their way to their son. AJ lifted him up.

 

"We'll need to get him to the infermary before this gets worse." He looked at the cut but noticed something wasn't right. A samll dark aura was being given off from the wound. It looked similar to the aura he had. "What the...?" he covered the wound before anyone else could notice.
