"Trust me, Dark James has something else planned. Call me paranoid, but he wouldn't just beat Garnet several times in a normal duel for no reason other than to show off his power."

[~Kefka~]

Athrun: 800

 

"Now Lust, attack him directly!" the female monster darted in for the attack but AJ wasn't going to take it sitting down.

 

"I'll activate my trap. Magic Cylinders. Now you'll take damage to your LP's from your monsters attack." the attack backfired and Athrun was hit. "Game over."

 

AJ: 1400

Athrun: 0000

[Naimo]

Garnet frowned, then immediately dashed to her room where her laptop was, and instantly logged onto several sites. Remember what she had overheard that day, seeing as Dark James now had won three duels, if the mysterious person hadn't been lying...

 

"Come on!" she yelled at the monitor, banging her fingers on the keyboard. Using her very very specialised good-purposes-only-hacking software, she managed to tap into the server most fans would pretty much die to get into. Checking dates against each other, it all made logical sense...

[~Kefka~]

Nightshroud appeared before Crystal. "What's up darlin'?" he asked with a smirk. "I have a little business i have to settle with you if you haven't forgotten."

[Goldeneagle]

"What is it Garnet?" asked Kin, eyeing the monitor with a slightly nervous expression, wondering what she had found.

[Negimalevolent]

He falls backwards "Oh F***! Now what that kid lost too! i couldn't care less about him, but now what about AJ!? What happens now!?"

[Naimo]

Crystal turned to Nightshroud. "Aaaah Nightshroud, long time no see ... good or bad thing, fate will decide. So, what pleasntries are you offering this time? Surely not another speech into the lack of botox I have taken?"

Garnet opened the window to talk to Kin. "If the events are correct, expect a little Fiat Panda to pull up outside the Academy in a couple of days..."

[Goldeneagle]

"Umm, Garnet, I don't want to alarm you, but this amulet glows and warms up when there's evil near, and it's just burnt a hole in my jacket." Kinshiro picked up the brightly shining amulet, and Icicle Eagle breathed frost onto it, cooling it down.

[~Kefka~]

"Just bored while AJ takes on your son." he smiles. "Then again, you don't know what he's really trying to do, do you?" he asked with curiosity.

[Negimalevolent]

he comes up beside kin "S...So they're going to take you away...? Are they!? Tell me please! i'm worried about you! Tell me!" he nearly cries

[Naimo]

"I don't think it's his doing, he wouldn't ... something must have happened ..." muttered Garnet. "He's too nice, he wouldn't ..."

 

Meanwhile, Crystal folded her arms. "Of course I don't, it's the kids for themselves now. But don't think I've been oblivious; I've been far from that."

[Goldeneagle]

"What?" Kin smiles slightly, reassuring Luke. "I don't think we're in immediate danger... However, there're obviously several extremely powerful dark entities on the island, so we'd best be on our guard." Kin's attention returns to the monitor. "So Garnet, what exactly is Dark James up to?"

[Negimalevolent]

He calms down "Phew... ok.. but I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried about garnet and my friends.. not me... I could care less about this pathetic kid in front of you"

[Hirikiri Inaghe]

Jacoby steps up into the middle and asks holding his arm,"Whats going on can someone please tell me?"

[Goldeneagle]

"What happened to your arm?" asked Kin, looking concernedly at the bandages.

[~Kefka~]

"Sin's controlling your son. AJ's using the Allies to take him out for good. That's what this whole thing is about. With this darkness AJ can finally take out Sin." he said simply.

[Naimo]

"In about three or four days time, a car - most likely to be a black Fiat Panda - is going to pull up outside her, and that's when Dark James is going to move in with his real master and they'll try and take over the Academy. That's what I heard anyway. But listen, this isn't his doing, it won't be ... something must have happened behind the scenes ..."

[Goldeneagle]

"Do you think Dark James is being controlled somehow then?" asked Kin.

[Negimalevolent]

"He looks puzzled "Like what exactly...? Well at least you're safe and not getting taken away..." he breaths a sigh of relief and his panic phase is over

[Hirikiri Inaghe]

Jacoby looks at the concerned stranger and says, "Just a violent duel i think i won.And who is this Dark James?"

[Naimo]

Crystal turned to Nightshroud. "Well I never knew Athrun was being controlled ... but I was aware my husband was after the Allies of Justice. Magic always leaves traces, no matter how tiny. It's a matter of reading the signs."

 

Meanwhile, Garnet shook her head at Kin's answer. "Not him ... his owner ..."

[Goldeneagle]

"Who do you you think his master is then?" asked Kin, ignoring Jacoby.

[~Kefka~]

"You'd know this stuff better then i do. Anyway the duel should be up by now. and by the feel of it your husband won." the dark being said. "Just hope those Allies do their job right."

[Naimo]

"It's ... it's ... I suspect it may be ..." Garnet somehow couldn't say it. It just didn't seem that right. "May be ... the real him ..."

"Well if he won, then he would have done his job properly," Crystal pointed out. "Is that all Nightshroud?"

"What are you saying..." Kin thought for a second. "Do you mean you think that the real James May might be behind this?"
