Luke sits alone he can't realy think of anything to do... so he listens to the speech before realising it's horriblely tedious...

meanwhile, Saphire was sitting a few rows back, she's a very diligent girl and so listened to the speech without being bored

Garnet had not been present for the speech. Instead she had taken the chance to set up a small store just outside the building, and already students who were also bored were flocked there. Garnet's attention was mainly on a small Slifer student.

 

"An amulet for your pretty girlfriend?" asked Garnet as she put her hand inside her jacket. She closed her hand on thin air and pulled her hand out to reveal a silver pendant with a heart dangling off the end. "I'll give it to you for 2 quid, it's a bargain as well, RRP is a fiver." She winked. Hehehehehehehe rip offs! she thought to herself as the boy handed over the money.

Lucy looked at Garnet. "Selling Jewelry? Bet it's fake." Lucy said, Commander appearing beside her. "Oh, hi BBC!" Lucy smiled.

"Fake?" snapped Garnet sharply, her eyes fixed on Lucy. "Who says it's fake? This is all brought from shops like New Look, Top Shop, River Island ..."

"Who are you to challenge me?" snapped Garnet. "You want proof? Here you go." She tucked her hand into her jacket and pulled out a real garnet shapped like a diamond.

"BBC, you know what to do." BBC goes over to Garnet, it was nearly twice her size. His eye slot went bright. "Knew it. It's fake."

Ryu: (He had just arrived, his boat had broken down in the middle of the ocean and nobody was willing to swim the last 50 miles with him) well, at least I'm here......(He looks at the academy from afar) don't worry dad....I won't destroy it too badly(he smiles)

"Fake? FAKE?" shrieked Garnet angrily. "You raving lunatic! Anyone contemporary can tell that's real! Now I must ask you to leave! You are disturbing my sales!"

"Ok... We'll go tell everyone it's fake, yeah? Ok, see you around!" Lucy said happily. BBC sighed, then followed Lucy.

Lucy skipped along happily with BBC following. "Miss, why did you do that?" BBC asked in a rather human voice. "Cause I could." Lucy said happily.

"Don't ... you ... dare ..." hissed Garnet dangerously, sounding like a snake, and stopping Lucy. Maiden of Macabre appeared next to Garnet. "I happen to be older than you ... and I happen to have inherited ... certain properties from my parents."
