Hardened Armed Dragon

Possibly the best card EVER to be mentioned in this thread

REDMD

HAD beats REDMD in combo'ing with Neptune.

He said that HAD is a better card overall :P

I agree that HAD+monster with good effect is how this card should be used' date=' it's annoying that someone beat me to it >.>

Possibly use Goyo/Brio? Those are nice 'n hax.

[s']Oh, better yet, trib HAD and TRA, untargetable, effect immune, godstick.

Now, a Deck which can use this, HAD, and TRA and not suck.

...

I'll start work.[/s]

...dumb moment... what would work like that?

If this card gained the effect of the 2 monsters tributed then it would be semi-god.

If 1 of the tributes were a phantom of chaos with the effect of a hard-to-summon monster' date=' then would this card gain the ATK and DEF of PoC or the monster?

[/quote']

I believe the effect would be checked while the card is in the Graveyard, and that it will just gain PoC's regular effect, similarly to how a PoC that copied Sangan won't activate Sangan's effect when it is sent to the Graveyard because it doesn't have Sangan's effect anymore at that time.

You're basically just -2ing yourself to merge the ATK of two of your monsters and negate one of their effects. >_>

It's bad.

If one of the tributes is Barbaros or Barbaros Ur and the other is a weakling with a good effect (Mataza, Masked Chopper, Ancient Gear Engineer or a direct attacker, depending of your tastes), then the result will be better than both monsters separated.

You are not actually negating 1 of the effects if you Tribute one of those monsters that have its effects already used.

And you can even repeat a "once per turn" or "when it is Summoned" effect right away if you Tribute sertain mosnters.

more than half of the Level 4 or lower monsters I see around are 1500+ ATK, I don't see how 3000+ ATK for 2 Tributes and the opportunity of re using an effect or just keeping one sounds pretty fair to me =/

Also, there also are those monsters that have great effects but their low ATKs kill their usefullness....
