Guest Tiger
How come humans assume dogs like pig ears and stuff flavored like that? I just noticed that today when I was at the store looking in the dog food section. Who came up with the idea to feed dogs disgusting foods when they won't eat it themselves? Dogs deserve better. Same with cats. What human would want to eat a Shrimp Delight all mushed up with sauce on top? Disgusting. Discuss.

You can't really say they have the same taste as humans And Dogs and cats enjoy the stuff that goes into their respective foods. Otherwise they wouldn't eat them. I don't know what human would want to eat a Shrimp Delight all mushed up with sauce on top, by my cats friggin' love that stuff. We tried feeding our cats like real tuna fish and whatnot, but they actually prefer the canned cat food over human food... And when I used to have a dog, she LOOOOOOOOVED pig ears. You can't really say they have the same taste as humans And Dogs and cats enjoy the stuff that goes into their respective foods. Otherwise they wouldn't eat them. But what if they only eat it because they were starving? Think about it. If you were starving and the only thing to eat was a shrip delight mushed up in a sauce' date=' would you eat it? I would if it were the only thing to eat. Also, taking in the fact that they do have different taste buds as we do, what person would even come up with an idea to feed them those foods? Why not just feed them cut up chicken or something with gravey on top. I suppose someone does that to their dogs or cats, but most pet owners buy cat food and dog food. Who would come up with that for animals to eat when they won't even eat it themselves? How come humans assume dogs like pig ears and stuff flavored like that? Dismal Euphony
But do they eat the dry stuff? My cats eat the dry food as well... Only certain brands though. They won't touch the generic store brand stuff, but if we buy Meow Mix or Iams, they're all over it.

-Berserker-
We give our dogs what we eat, or what we didn't eat last day. The female one separates the rice of the meat and only eats the meat. The other one has ADD and always end throwing the food with his chain far of his reach. Cin
That would imply you were using treats as normal food or not feeding your dog anything else. My dog if he doesn't want he flat out doesn't eat it, I threw away half a small bowl of food this morning because he flat out didn't want it. He hasn't eaten the biscuits I gave him last week, pets have a choice.

Dark
Because dogs obviously can eat pizza and want to eat pizza. Obviously, you just don't see it. My cousin fed his dog a piece of Taco Bell once. NOTHING BAD HAPPENED. NOWAI
