Zexaeon Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 Yeah, Rox, Season 1 & 2 were the seasons referenced in Season 3. So in Tamers, 01 and 02 are just a TV show. Of course, as I theorized, this is because of the paradoxical fuckup, which you added quite plausibly to. In the alternate universe where Tai didn't become Emomon, Tamers never existed, and Savers existed instead. And yeah, I'm not gonna watch the dub for Savers. I can watch 01/02/Tamers in English because even with the occasional bad joke tossed in, those were dubbed back before Four Kids Entertainment was 4Kidstv. As such, they aren't nearly as butchered as the stuff 4Kids would later translate (like Yugioh, for example). I dunno who translated Savers, but I have heard it sucks, so I'm watching the Japanese. The Leviathan is not a demonic being as Digimon WIkia said. It is just a powerful sea creature. (Note, the Torah is 5 books, none of which contain Job, the only book that mentions the Leviathan) Daemon is... well... creepy. Especially his left arm. Directly based on Satan. Pentagram and all. Belphemon reminds me of the card Borax Beelzemon is the Lord of the Flies (Beelzebub's literal translation) Lucemon Falldown Mode is perfect for what he is. Lilithmon is not recorded in JudeoChristian lore, but it is a Hebrew story passed down through ages as Adam's first wife, turned demon. Also based on ASmodeus. Barbamon... I know nothing about, except it is based on Mammon and Barbatos. All of them are based on Judeo-Christianity AND Assorted Folklore. Honestly, the only problems have got to be the voices and some changes people overreacted too. I think Data Squad was done by the people who are doing Shippudden. Squeenix is our primary means of discussion, but there's no reason we can't indulge in a little difference when the chance arises.
