I'm pretty sure you got purged a few months ago along with everyone else. >.>

 

If this weren't Bassa, I would point out that this is not a reliable way of deciding whether or not someone's part of the club, as I can be lazy.

 

Anyway, I believe I'm in Chapter 4 of XIII. To those who have it, how far are you in? I like Hope even if he's a whiny little coward. I'll probably look for a good avi of him soon. Vanille's voice can be irritating though. Snow tries way too hard to be a badass. Lightning is awesome, and Sazh is alright. I have yet to see why he's the most popular character, since that position should belong to Lightning, who gets even more awesome every time she punches Snow.

I'm just after Chapter 4, but I had some stuff to do, so I'm gonna play some more later tonight. My thoughts:

 

Lightning - Probably already my favorite FF protagonist. She's just such a badass. But unlike the generic brand, she regularly displays emotion and has a more concrete objective. On top of that, during the rare moments she emos, she actually has a good reason for it, and it doesn't last long (kinda like Ashe, which is one of their similarities). I mean Cloud...jeeze, at some point, he needs to get over it.

 

So yeah, Lightning is the best thing ever. The gameplay has gotten even better now that I have abilities and roles, too. =3

 

Sazh - I like him. He brings a cool, down to earth personality to the game. Plus, he's pretty funny. I dunno why he's the most popular, but he's certainly likable, which is more than I can say for most of the gimmicky characters (Quina, Cait Sith, Wakka, and Gau immediately come to mind).

 

Snow - I do like him, but he gets a tad annoying sometimes. Because as has been said, he tries to hard. I can understand where he's coming from though, and he's still kinda cool.

 

Vanile - Her accent gets a little annoying, but the good part is that she doesn't try too hard to emphasize it - sometimes, she'll say something and you won't hear the accent in it, which is good, since in real life, people with accents don't ALWAYS sound like it. On top of that, she's a loli with boobs. What's not to like? Plus, her personality is silly.

 

Hope - He's being a whiny coward, but considering his upbringing and what happened to him in such a short span of time, and his age, it's understandable. But I can already tell from seeing the trailer a while ago that he gets better, and I'm really looking forward to his character development. Plus, the duo of him and Vanile really brings the kid-cute factor into the game.

 

Fang - All I know about her so far really is that she's hot and kinda badass. xD So I guess I like her.

Also, Nex, XIII would work for you. So far, farming has been completely unnecessary. And due to the nature of the level-up mechanics (which will probably focus more on leveling up equipment through an awesome customization system), and the lack of traditional levels (your characters have no levels, they use the Crystarium, which is a much less frustrating version of the Sphere Grid), the game feels very user friendly.

 

On top of that, if you die, you can try again, ala TWEWY.

I've beaten Anima' date=' though it was simply enough. I just focused on keeping Lightning alive while my party beat the manipulators off with a stick so we could kick it's crystallized ass. I love the cutscenes.

Anima is part of the long line of things that all/some/a few FF's have in common? Is it just a name, or is it FF X Anima?

I'm just at the Manisva Warmech (or whatever it's called) and I'm kind of having a problem switching between Relentless Assault and Solidarity and flicking my eyes from the Attack screen to Lightning's health like a paranoid schizophrenic. I'll try Entourage, and see how that works.

I love this game so far!

 

Paradigms are win, Crystarium is win, Health Regen after fights is win, no MP is win.

 

 

I'm at the start of 04.

 

 

Whoever was having trouble with Shiva, you need to put Snow into Sentinel, and then use provoke.

 

After that, time your rushing and canceling of Steelguard so that it's not up when she's ATB charging, and up when she's attacking.

 

When the prompt appears in the lower right hand corner of the screen, press square for the win.

 

 

 

Lightning is officially the Chuck Norris of FF protagonists. Dissenters will be OBJECTION!'ed.

 

 

Also, I got Oakley shades. Zeo, I can Lang/Shih-Na glasses people now XD

BB, you should customize your Paradigms to your own preference.

 

When fighting the warmech, I had Lightning and Vanile as ravagers, to boost up chaining, while Snow went sentinal.

 

When it was staggered, I switched Lightning and Snow into Commando, and had Vanile on Medic. =O You don't have to stick with the setup the game gives you.

 

Likewise, adjusting the paradigm Deck boosted Hope's usefulness muchly when I got him. Right now, I'm saved at the part where Sazh and Vanile just met up with Hope. I gotta go now.

 

 

Also, all the fal'cie are named after Summons from past games - so far we've got Eden, Phoenix, and Anima.

If you are half as perverted as you act go to lu.scio and search mahou no susume.

 

What your about to go through is essintially page 1-13.

Shiryuu and Edgey are both so awesome though.

 

Edgeworth gets slight preference, because he has years and years of experience as my obsession.

Because I liked Shih-Na as Shih-Na and hoped that she'd get character development.

When it got revealed she was just Yew in disguise....meh.
