Gerard stood up, but not because he was going to listen to Rachel, but because he wanted to show her just how much more he could take. He struggled when he tried to find his footing, but he still had his strength. With a grin, he was practically begging Rachel to prolong his torture.

"Very good," Rachel said, grinning.

The wind blew again. This time, only Rachel seemed to be affected. She tore through the air at blinding speed. She looked like a mini- black tornado.

The edges on Phantom Rose sharpened and spiked: The umbrella was now teeming with blades. Rachel spun the blades into Gerard, using the wind to further deepen the cuts, and her spinning technique to rip the skin from his body.

Taizen stood and watched as his ally was torn apart before his eyes. "Madness fills thy eyes with hollow souls for which thy unfolds." He said, walking away from Rachel and the rest of the Oligarchy. This had become unreasonable. He could have told them the weakness, but now he thought about it. These people don't deserve to know the weakness of our enemies. He thought to himself, walking into his room, placing all his data he had found into his computer. "How can I work with a group of people, when all their intentions are killing, killing and more killing? They have no sense of mind." He said, deciding he couldn't stand this anymore. He walked into the lower area of the Soul Society, opening another portal to the Real World, walking into it, making sure to grab his Gigai. The portal closed behind him, as he landed in the Real World, standing on top of a Skyscraper, staring down on the city. "I needed to get out of there. It really was a vacation. I could care less about this battle anymore...." He said sadly.

Hayate awoke to hear Keisuke awake and talking. "So you finally awoke Keisuke." He stood up as he walked over to him, "How do you feel?" He sat on the table next to the couch that Keisuke now sat on. "You've only been out roughly 4-5 hours. I fell asleep also hoping to gain some rest so that we may Train a bit once you woke up." He grabbed his sword from the table as he re sheathed it, he didn't want it to be left in the open for just anyone to analyze.

"I'm okay; still dead tired but no longer strained." Keisuke said as he sat up.

"So are you the only one here at the moment? I don't see where the others could've gone but they aren't here." Keisuke said. He still wasn't entirely sure what reiatsus he could feel but he was decently certain no one else was in the base. Four to five hours? Too long for his tastes. At least it seemed he'd be okay by days end. But he was certain he'd never allow this to happen to him again. He'd trained in the past to remove the effects of Akuma's release, he just needed to apply them again.

"And I assume you mean to train your hollow transformation? I can help you with that before long but I don't have the reishi or energy left to do much at all." Keisuke said.

Aski crossed his arms at Danni, his unaccustomed mouth in the shape of a sneer. For some reason, his hidden disdain around others seemed to be progressed to open disdain around others if Danni was involved. He wasn't sure if that meant she had a positive or negative affect on him.

 

"Hollow have barely any more affinity with Reishei than Shinigami do." he said bluntly. "I've read my history; before my captaincy, you'd be surprised to know most of my time was spent in Squad twelve's personal library. Bounts not only controlled Reishei, but consumed it as a power source. Quincy do not consume it, but they do control and shape it. Shinigami and Hollow both assimilate Reishei through osmosis, it could be barely considered using it. It's hardly a notable advantage over the other captains."

 

"As for the other two..." he began. "While it is true that both Hollow and Zanpaktou evolve over time, that does not help us at the moment. We'd have to do lengthy tests to figure out if there is any power to be held in trying to advance like a Hollow... actually, come to think of it, I wonder what would happen if we ate Hollow like the Hollow do eachother. Perhaps an experiment later..."

 

he began, then shook his head. "In any case, as for the final one... it is possible, yes, that we do have a limiter on us, but not necessarily. We did not reach the human realm through a natural spiritual gate, however, so I am not sure if we do."

"Yeah, where the only two here. When we arrived at the base their where three Menos that where about 100 yds from the base. I had the others take em out as quick as possible. I brought you down here mean while and I sorta passed out as well, so I'm not totally sure whats going on either." Hayate stated as he stood up, shaking his head in relief. "Yes that is probably the most important thing I need to train on as I'm pretty high up on the other fighting styles, but it wouldn't hurt to practice with them as well.

Taizen jumped down off the building, even if he was in Gigai form, he could still land this. "Hado #1, Thrust." He said, hitting the ground with admirable force from his Kido Spell, letting himself fall to the ground slowly, landing on his feet. Some passerby's looked at him scared and began running. Taizen simply shrugged and started walking towards his rented home. Once he arrived, he closed the door, shrouding his Spiritual Pressure and Kido, laying on the bed. He seemed to be thinking, but he was far too tired to do even that. He lay down, slowly falling asleep. Within a few moment, Taizen lay in his bed asleep.

Back in the base Zensaki was busy in his room, he had taken off it's mask and began studying it's composition, he had to find the part of the mask that had absorbed the portal Reishi, this could take a while, but as long as he did not fight he could keep that mask around for a few days, in that time he would have to analyze every spirit particle for a foreign substance, and then extract it, after doing that he would have a challenge ahead of him in trying to replicate the particles, this could take a very long time.

Gerard howled as Rachel's attack tore apart his flesh. Blood erupted out of the countless wounds. Damn it, these wounds...I need a healer. He couldn't take anymore. He actually was hoping that she would end this soon. "Please," he begged, though he still tried to keep a proud face. "I'll do what you say."

It had been a few hours now, an he was seriously hoping Danni would come in with some food for him, if anything that was one of the things that also reminded him of Rei, the way they cooked, while a bit sexist, he hoped Danni would never go ahead and hold that over his head.While looking at certain particles in the mask he thought he had seen the portal Reishi, but it just went ahead and switched to a different place."Crap...this is annoying as hell!"

Aski shook his head and walked back towards the base. Evidently, for whatever reason, either Taizen hadn't told the rest about their identity as Vizards, or they did not come after them immediately for some reason.

 

Aski's mind was whirring. 'Perhaps Taizen still has loyalty towards us?' he wondered, but shook his head. He no longer had loyalty towards his old captain, and indeed, if his Kido Master had any affection remaining for him, he would have interceded during the time that Rachel had decided he must die. No, there must be some other reason.

 

Perhaps... Taizen was disillusioned with the new captains? He could tell their style of governing would not match his own. It would be just like him to withhold precious information from those he thought were not sufficently worthy...

Danni puttered happily in the kitchen. She hummed as she fixed the massive meal. She was still feeling happy about the prospect of returning to soul society. She figured anyone wjo was happy about getting revenge was twisted but a century of isolation could do that to a girl.

 

She arranged a wide assortment of food on a tray and headed for Zensaki's room. The others had already started eating but Zensaki hadn't left his room. He was handsome when he was focused. Too bad he was married. She sighed. The good one were always taken. That Rei was one luck lady. She knocked on his door. "Zensaki, you awake?"

"hmm..oh yeah..I'm working right now...but please come in...." he says as he stops and opens the door for her, "I really needed a break anyway, looking at Spirit particles all day could drive a person crazy." he looks at the food and he drools, just a tiny bit."do you have any food, I can't eat if you haven't" he exclaimed he was the same way with Rei, though of course she would force feed him after that, so he flinched just a bit after saying that.

"If you insist," Danni sighed. Yes, you walked right into my trap. Danni thought to herself. She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a pair of chopsticks. She ran back to Zensaki's room.

"So, how's the research coming? Any progress?" She asked as she ate. She enjoyed hang around Zensaki. Keisuke was super strict, Aski didn't like her and the others...

But Zensaki was different. Not only did they get along, but she found herself drawn to him. She blushed. Maybe it was forbbiden love. "KYAH!"

"uh...you okay?" he asks after the unexpected "Kyah", he looks at her."Well, either way, The research is going very well, I've spotted the particles, so all I have to do is extract enough for me to attempt a replication, though I only absorbed a small amount so I need a huge amount of energy to copy it fully..." he took a bite."delicious...." he looks at her."we would have eaten ourselves by now if it weren't for you."

She blushed. He praised her! She almost choked on her food.

"Well, I know that,, you don't need to tell me that, so go ahead and praise me more." She looked around his room. It was so much neater than her own. It had a nice smell too. She envied Rei. The lucky...

"Zensaki, what do you do all day?" She asked. "I go to work, Mr. Sleepyhead watches TV, but what do you do?"

He looked at her."well, currently I've been looking through the fluctuations of Reishi around the world...looking for a way back...but..on my free time...I've been ..." he's a little embarrassed to say."I've been gardening for the last 100 years...." he laughs a little."It's relaxed me...and helped me vent my emotions for a long while." he looks down at his food."I have wished I could do something useful for our group, but I can't say I have."

She smiled. Gardening seemed to fit him. He looked like the type who could make thing grow. She took another mouthful of food. One of the htings she liked about Zensaki was that he often did things that helped other. Rarely did he do something thats only benifit was for himself.

Out loud she said, "So you the one who grows and maintains the flowers around the base. I always wondered who did that."

Aski entered the base reluctantly. He really disliked spending time around the other Corrupt Lords. He couldn't say why. Forced confinement for so long provoked certain emotions he didn't really want. Annoyance. Familiarity. Tiredness. Hatred. Love. Friendship. Trust. No, he didn't mind any of those one emotions on a given day, when he could focus on it and make a plan based around it, but constantly being buffeted by all of them could make even the greatest mind mad.

 

He glanced around the kitchen, and stifled a lost whine before righting himself up again. He could handle such a simple thing as making his own food, right?

 

He selected a packet of insant noodles, and moved over to a pot. He paused, glancing at the stove, wondering how to put it on. He sighed, filled the pot, then placed it on the stove. He fiddled with the knobs and buttons. He heard some beeping, but not much else. He sighed and ran his hands through his hair; why could he work well with the Twelfth Division computers, but be completely lost on a human stove?

 

He shrugged and just pointed a finger at it. "Hado 3. Spontaneous Firebloom." he said nonchalantly, as the stove burst into flame.

"Why do I feel like something bad just happened?" Danni shuddered. She sat still for a moment and heard noises in the kitchen. She sighed. "Zensaki, I'll be right back."

 

She headed to the kitchen and gasped. Aski had the entire thing on fire. She screamed and grabbed the fire extinguisher. She played the spray over the stove, dousing the fire. It was charred a bit on the top but otherwise ok. After checking the other appliances. She turned on Aski. She noticed a pack of instant noodles in his hand.

 

"Aski, why is it you can't operate a stove," She asked, irritation on the edge of her tone. "Shikazu destroys cellphones but you insist on wreaking the stove. If you need to make instant noodles, why not use the kettle?" She pointed to the tall cream appliance on the counter.

 

"Besides that, did you look to see if there was any food?" She opened the oven door, revealing an assortment of food, the same as what she and Zensaki was eating. She shared him a plate and grabbed the noodles from him, crushing it with a smile.

 

"When I go through the trouble to make you food, don't put my efforts to waste with such commercial food that has almost no nutritional value." Her killing intent flared at various points but she simply closed the oven door and left Aski with his plate of food.

Aski blinked blankly, then shrugged. He glanced briefly at the mess on the countertop, and flicked a wrist. "Shoyari. Hado 2." he muttered briefly as the light burst of energy scraped the oven-top clean of char and extinguisher fluid, though it still seemed a little burnt from its experience. He blinked at the kettle. "...Yes, right, the kettle." he paused.

"...What is the kettle for again?" he said, attempting to keep his dignity in the light of the slightly burnt appliance, crushed noodles and rather silly-sounding question. Without waiting long for the question's answer, he dug into the food in the fridge, figuring that he'd have enough time to make is selections while Danni began her next rant, possibly on how he could possibly not know what a kettle was for after having lived in the human realm for an innumerable amount of years.

Shikazu that had been out in what he called His own "Secret Base walked Throught the town in the direction of the Base. When he passed the Food market he noticed an Little kid in the shape of a Ghost being bullied by the other Ghost kids. "Hey you stop it!" he shout as he ran forwards to the little kid that were a Boy around 7 years old. The other kids begun to ran as they saw shikazu. "You Okay ?" he asked the little boy, "T-Thank you sir." he said nervous. After a little conversation with the boy, Shikazu decided to return to him tomorrow. Shikazu were half way there when he couldn't Resist buying Candy at the food market, With a lolipop in his mouth he this time shunpoed to the base.

When he arrived at the base with a shunpo, He opened the door with a fury kick. He walked towards the TV when he noticed the others "Oh! What's up eh?" he said while laying down in the sofa for a rest. He drew up his Unfinished Pocket book and begun to read. "Danni? Could you make me Food?" he said while his eyes were still on the book. He stretched his body as he flipped the page of the book Hilairous Book he thought as he Laughed in a whisper for himself.

A vein twitched on Danni's forehead. She slowly turned on Shikazu. Though she smiled, the flames of hell seemed to blaze behind her.

 

"Did you just demand food?" She picked up a frying pan and smacked him a couple (dozen) times with it. She towered over his twitching body.

 

"You worthless piece of ****. You spend the entire day god knows where, wasting your life away then you come home, break down the door and demand my food while watching TV?" The air around her warped from the aura of her rage. She stepped on his face. "Do you know who pays to fix the door? Who pays for the meat? Who pays for the cable TV you watch so often? Who provides the pocket money for the books you like so much? Who pays to replace the cell phones you break?" She pressed harder as she spoke and the floor was starting to crack.

 

"For a century now you've done nothing but lounge about. I have been the one to earn the money for the clothes on your back." She smiled. Any child in the room would have ran screaming from that smile. She tore the clothe of Shikazu and left him in boxers. "Starting now, your going to have to work for any food, TV, books or clothes you get. Got it?"

 

She smiled sweetly and left him bleeding on the floor. "Maybe I should get Zensaki to cut the power to your room." She looked at the widening pool of blood with a sigh. "Awww, this is going to be a chore to clean." She wadded Shikazu's clothes in to a ball. "Good thing I just got a new stock of cleaning clothe."

Zensaki was in his room, he felt not Reishi, but sheer killing intent outside, after finishing up he stood up and was ready to go clean his dishes, but then he heard stomping coming from outside and he decided right now is not the best time."Geez...I wonder what Shikazu did..." he sighs, the same thing happened to him when he first started living with Rei, Shikazu kind of reminded him of himself, and there was no doubt that Danni could be a lot like Rei, but he decided to stop thinking about that and just sat down so things on the outside could cool down.
