Frigus grinned "SnowAgumon Digivolve to! Frigimon!" He shouted, retaking his draconian snowman form and flying between Aero and Beta, before flying over to Beta's other side without a word.

 

Huanglongmon's nearest DigiCore, which was now the size of a mansion, glowed brightly and turned into a portal to Suzaku, about fifty meters above WaruSeadramon's head.

 

Daemon caught each shell and, when Beelzemon was done firing, threw half of them back at him and the other half at SkullMammothmon

 

((Seriously, what color should Imperialdramon and Tara be?))

 

Imperialdramon smiled "Your armor always seemed to make you a heartless @#$hole" The gigantic dragon warrior mused out loud "Well, not so much heartless as apathetic, I guess that's why we all called you The Indifferent Warrior. Though, honestly, why pink? I swear, someone is liable to mistake you for a female religious nutjob."

 

AncientVolcamon sighed "To think that YOU are my legacy is a fate worse than death you pathetic worthless piece of @#$%." He told Sal, shrinking until he was of even height with RookChessmon and then he simply turned the Spirits of Earth off, before throwing Sal at the Chessmon "Shoot him."

[The Warden]

Lucemon was silently watching the battle. 'Aren't you going to stop them?' Duke demanded from his partner. 'No need, they can sort it out amongst themselves, why should I waste my time intervening' Lucemon explained. 'But still' Duke attempted. 'There is no need for us being here any longer' Lucemon stated and grabbed his hand. He lifted himself and his partner into the sky and left what remained of the volcano.

 

They were flying over the wastelands. 'Do you think Beelzemon will defect?' Duke asked. 'Hard to tell, he was always the most free-spirited of the demon lords. He only lives to be free and to fight strong opponents so he can be the strongest. He is the demon lord of gluttony because of his endless hunger for strength' Lucemon explained. 'Then he might defect, should Daemon and Belphemon destroy him' Duke remarked. 'Daemon, once angered, will not stop. He is the demon of wrath because he is controlled by his anger. He once destroyed an entire city in a fight with a royal knight' Lucemon stated. 'That doesn't seem to hard' Duke rebutted. 'The battle began fifty kilometres from the city' Lucemon said bluntly.

[Proto]

"Alright, thanks big pal, now just to test these things out" Lee said as Stingmon was almost jumping out of the portal in anticipation. "Alright, Digisoul! Fusion Form Evolution!" suddenly a large coccon of digital energy surrounded him once again. However instead of fully transforming into a humanoid wolf creature, he was surrounded by impressive looking armor such as large golden claws with one large blade weapon. After the experience Lee yelled "Woah! Lets try you next Stingmon!" In a familiar manner the digimon was now transformed into a more heavily armored bug with a large trident and larger wingspan. "Now lets go" Beowulfmon said in anticipation as JewelBeemon flew him out the door and he hopped onto the top of WaruSeedramon's head.

[ZhaneX]

Vincent found himself walking slowly into Ogudomon's Headquarters, with BlackGuilmon drapped ontop of his back, unconcious from the previous battle and the blow that had been dealt to him. Arriving at the pool area, Vincent set BlackGuilmon down on the ground before assuming a crouching position, his head hung low.

"Lord Ogudomon...if you can hear me, I regret to inform you that myself and BlackGuilmon failed in our private mission. Not only were we unable to protect Lilithmon, or her latest aquisition, but we failed to kill a Royal Knight. Worse yet, they escaped with a DigiEgg Formed from a good deal of BlackGuilmon's data, most of his Royal Knight data in fact, hence his current condition."

 

"Sh-shoot him? Doesn't that seem a little extreme?" RookChessmon said in surprise, before turning one of her oversized gun-turret arms on Gigasmon Sal, "Okay, last chance. You can go for me knocking you out on the head, or I go with option T, for turret."

[The Warden]

Even from the sky Duke and Lucemon could see the enormous WaruSeasdramon. 'Before you ask, that is WaruSeadramon' Lucemon stated just as Duke opened his mouth, forcing him to shut it again. 'WaruSeadramon is the ultimate stage for my comrade Leviamon, the true ruler of the digital seas' the angel added.

 

As they neared him, Lucemon noticed the two interlopers on the serpant's head. 'The warrior of light and his pet' he hissed with annoyance. Duke noticed the duo as they neared WaruSeadramon. 'Get off the serpant' Duke called out.

Beelzemon took the shots, the leather he wore ripped and tore revealing his blue skin beneath.

"Didn't feel a thing!" He shouted at Daemon, He then looked towards SkullMammothmon, "Hey Get the kids out of here." Beelzemon placed his shotguns back into their holsters. "This is going to end one way or another."

 

SkullMammothmon's bones dented, the holes from the reversed attack not causing any pain. Beelzemon had shouted to him.

"Alright. I'll try, but they're both pretty stubborn."

"I don't care get them out of here."

Sam had heard their conversation and stood, "We're not going anywhere."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Ogudomon's roar actually shook the very foundation of his lair, pillars shattered, the walls and floor soon had spiderweb-like cracks, and the water in the pool boiled and frothed dangerously "What did you just say?!" Ogudomon's true voice asked, Max remaining utterly silent throughout the whole ordeal, not even flinching when the room almost caved in around him.

 

"You're the living gun here not me." AncientVolcamon pointed out "I'm just trying to play to your strengths, if that includes multiple sprays of bullets then so be it."

 

Daemon sighed "I guess I should stop holding back." He said, charging his Dark Spreader attacks in both hands and firing four continuous streams, two from each hand, at Sam, Sammy, Beelzemon, and SkullMammothmon.

 

((Alfius, Daemon is a Super Ultimate, Beelzemon and SkullMammothmon are both Megas, Daemon can kill them with excessive casualties.))

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon crossed his arms. "It's RHODINITE pink. Rhodinite is the stone of inner peace. It's grounded. Rhodinite is realistic. It's loving, curbed with the temperance of reality and a clear mind. It's the stone of the servant to all; one who shows his love through service in the way of good. Rhodinite has emotions, but it uses them only where they are best used. It inspires self-confidence and all the good qualities of Order. It's protection. It's balance. It's meditation. It's the stone that encompasses all that I am, if not all the Royal Knights should be on a whole. I'm proud to wear it as my armor."

He smirked.

"Digizoid of all kinds is Code-Locked as part of its defensive properties, which means it's immune to modification through Spells. I prefer to wear Gemstone armor, which while physically weaker at first, allows me to place a web of helpful and powerful spell lattices about it, which is why I don't wear a stronger armor set, if you were wondering."

((Rofl, 'turning off spirits'? He can lift probably half-ton heavy Digimon, channel his powers into Rookie hosts and turn off Spirits and yet he STILL doesn't have enough power to appear to the populace as general? This guy isn't a ghost, he's a poltergeist.))

 

Sal yelped when he was thrown but quickly took advantage of the situation, rolling when he landed. He grunted, stood up and dusted himself off, looking marginally more serious.

"So, you have tricks up your sleeve. That's fine, my fault for underestimating you. I see that you won't let this go peacefully..."

 

He waved his hands briefly as he felt his raw digisoul flow through him. He didn't like to brag, but from what he had seen, he was among the humans with the most control over it; At least, he was the only he saw capable of making solid objects from it. He didn't have a massive repertoire of Soul, however, unlike the other humans, so he preferred not to waste what he had on crude things like Soul shots of energy or bullets.

 

He flicked his wrist as a delicate-seeming longblade with an ornately curved, almost-rapier style hand encasing his hand. He flicked the blade briefly to shake the lose green flecks of soul from the edge, pointing towards the carriage with the bladed pointed outward towards the cannon.

 

"Sword." he said simply, as Musyamon finally made his attack and thrusted his pulsating White Bird blade at the back of the Chessmon.

Gururumon yawned and stretched her bright white legs outward. She glanced around in minor worry when she realized Sal wasn't around, and she felt the slight buzz of static that always brewed the morning after she drank, but shrugged and glanced around, sighing with relief that she was the only one sleeping in the room. She chuckled briefly to herself, muttering.

 

"Well, I guess nobody wanted to get touchy-feely with me while I was more wolf than girl one supposes." she said with a hint of a smile on her muzzle, stretching out once more before she began to wander the halls of the ship.

"Must be a library here someplace..." she muttered to herself, glancing around.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"It's pink." He said flatly "But, I guess it says a lot about you. Dynasmon's white shows his strength, Craniamon's purple shows his belief in the royalty of the Digital World, Leopardmon's brown aids in his strategies by helping him blend in and mimic his namesake, my gold shows that I have strength enough to rival the Royal Knights as an Ultimate, Sleipmon's red shows his astounded defensive capabilities, Omnimon's body is the strongest sword in existence, Gallantmon's multitude of colors shows his adaptability, Examon's ((Unknown RK 1))mon's and ((Unknown RK 2))mon's armor shows that they showed up too late, and yours says that you're very in touch with your" he coughed "feminine side"

AncientVolcamon picked up Sal again, grew back to his full height, and pitched him over RookChessmon and on a collision course with Musyamon.

((I know, but SkullMammothmon hasn't done much yet and I'm actually gonna kill him off in a mo.))

 

" I can't let this happen!" Sammy declared charging his didigsoul. He forced into a solid shield surrounding both humans and both digimon. The beams hit the shield cracking it. "AAARRRGGHH" Sammy poured more into the shield fixing it, but the beams kept coming.

"Sammy stop it, your killing yourself!" Sam shouted over the beams.

The beams didn't stop and the shield was fading. Sammy pushed more of his digisoul into the defense, but he had run out. "This can't happen, I won't let it!" Data Copy. Sammy thought, I'm a data copy. He pushed more into the shield again, but this time instead of using digisoul he just focused himself.

"Sammy! You can't!" Skullmamothmon screamed to his partner.

Sam and Beelzemon couldn't believe their eyes. Sammy was stoping an atack from a Super Ultimate digimon, he wasn't pushing it back, but it wasn't getting through either. Then the strangest thing yet occured, Sammy's legs began to disappear. It was happening the same way a digimon was reformatted or deleted.

"Sammy what are you doing?" Sam asked extremley confused.

"Sam I'm not meant to be here for the final moment. But you you're important. Your a true human." He breathed a deep breath despite the obvious discomfort he was in. "Stop them." Sammy disappeared, but the shield kept on standing.

[Mr. Hyde]

Beta looked to his side. "HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT!" he said with suprise. Then he noticed his scarf-like wings. Tyler hopped on Frigus.

"Yay!" He said with amusement in his voice. Then Beta looked behind him. The giant WaruSeadramon he and Carly saw before.

"I wonder if i can outrun him..." he said with a panicked tone.

"Outrun who?" Carly asked placing a finger on her lip.

"I'm thinking we'll soon find out...."

[Proto]

Beowulfmon and JewelBeemon was shocked by the coming of the new Demon Lord. "Oh perfect, the most femine of the Demon Lords besides that Lust woman...." the wolf digimon said loudly on top of WaruSeadramon. He then saw the mass of approaching Digimon and sighed "Looks like we have to fight with numbers now pretty boy! Licht Angriff!" the mechanical wolf bellowed launching several missles coupled by a large laser at Lucemon as JewelBeemon flew behind him swiftly. "Stike Buster" he said silently as he fired off several purple large spikes at WaruSeadramon's face.

Daniel walked into the conference room, where most of the senior staff of the Digi-Marines, Captain D'Arcmon, the captain of the Deafening Silence and Admiral Valkyrimon's daughter, and several allies, such as Jack and Caleb, had gathered.

"Alright, people, listen up. We need to make a very important decision very soon. That decision is..."

"Where do we go from here?"

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon quirked an eyebrow. "Interesting armor descriptions, if a bit... thin. 'Feminine side'? I AM the indifferent warrior, it would be a bit odd if I had a surplus of female emotions that I completely got rid off in order to be a more effective knight. Indeed, if I were to classify any of the Royal Knights as feminine, it would either be Leopardmon -Who apparently lost her femininity since I was gone, given that you refer to her thusly as 'he'-, or Dynasmon, who despite his masculine mannerisms, as a little known fact, actually prefers the attentions of males to that of the opposite gender."

Mistymon glanced around a little. "But enough of that. Please bring me up to date. I have not been in contact with the other Royal Knights aside from those who were also restored by Huanglongmon, but I assume you have. What is our current status?"

WaruSeadramon flexed his thick flipper muscles as they propelled the monolith forward at a massive pace, forcing hundreds of thousands of gallons of water behind him as he took gentle strokes forward, completely unaware of the Spirit Warriors or Lucemon near the back of his tail, the only part remaining of his incredibly vast body still above water. He eyed his prey expertly, opening his jaws in preparation to swallow it whole.

[Mr. Hyde]

Beta jerked away from WaruSeadramon's jaws. Carly then realized who had been chasing them. "We need to get airborn!" she screamed.

"On it!" Beta replied, jumping out of the water and flying into the sky. "He might follow us. Just incase, let's gain so more altitu.."

"BUNNY BLAST!" Terriermon shot a blast at the WaruSeadramon. MegaSeadramon wrapped him tightly.

"That's the God damn Demon Lord of Envy, and you just attacked it."

"Demon...Lord...of Envy?..." Terriermon had remembered his friend, Coelamon when he was a Terriermon. "Coelamon...?" he asked in a very pleading tone.

[ZhaneX]

Vincent remained still through the display of rage put on by Ogudomon, though BlackGuilmon stirred slightly.

"It's true Sir, though he dealt a powerful blow to the Royal Knight Examon, it didn't stop the Dragon Emperor from hitting him with some kind of special shell which seperated a good deal of his Royal Knight data. I think the Chrono Core retained some of it, but they likely have enough to create an entirely reborn Gallantmon...Though if you want some good news Examon virtually dispelled your brainwashing on BlackGuilmon, but he chose to remain on your side...not that it makes a whole ton of difference once they make a new one..."

 

RookChessmon reached an oversized arm around her back and swatted Musayamon awa, pulling the sword out of her back and flicking it away.

"That itched, stop it." she said, pointing her guns back down at Sal, "You know infighting really doesn't solve anything...why are you putting up such a fight? It's not like we're enemies, I just want to borrow the Spirit for a couple minutes! I'm sorry I attacked you, but I'm just not good with talking."

[Hydra of Ages]

Musyamon back-flipped elegantly onto his feet, White Bird falling into his hand when it was returned. He examined the blade for damage along its side, groaned a little at the duller blade, and raised his left arm, cutting himself quickly along it with the sword. The blood fell from the wound onto the snow-white sword, flecking it red briefly before it was transformed into Data and integrated as a new, sharper edge for White Bird. He slashed the air a couple times, nodding with satisfaction the flutelike noises that sounded from the sharp weapon.

 

"the fact you threatened to blast me with a cannon if I didn't co-operate is a big part." He said nonchalantly. "As is the fact you picked me up and threw me with telekinesis. Twice. And the fact you tried to beat me to death with a staff when we first met. There's a difference between being bad at talking and beating the crap out of someone."

 

He grunted. "And it's really suspicious you want to 'borrow' a Spirit. I just got it yesterday, it still has that new-spirit smell, so how the HELL did you know I even -had- a spirit? And exactly what would you 'do' with it once you 'borrowed' it? And how do I know I'd get it back? And exactly HOW do I know for sure that you're not working for Ogudomon and just trying to con me?"

[The Warden]

Lucemon held his free hand up and BeoWulfmon's attacked were stopped dead in their tracks. 'It was real cute that you are actually attempting to attack me, but my affections can only go so far' the angel stated and clenched his fist, destroying the oncoming attacks. 'Should we help Leviamon?' Duke inquired. 'It'll give us something to do' Lucemon answered and landed on the beach.

[Blackstone Dresden]

We get back to The Labyrinth, Alphamon and your dad show up and have your court martialed on the spot of some trumped up charge that I find to be complete bull@#$% Caleb thought quietly And then @#$% goes down and both worlds die. This is the pivotal moment. I need to keep Daniel and Justin from BioMerging.

 

"What do you mean?" Jack asked "We still have two Royal Knights yet to be reborn, it's starting to look like we're gonna have to win this war without them, two more that are AWOL, our strongest available combatant's turned against us, Examon's out of commission and Gallantmon's still just a DigiEgg."

 

"Force of habit, the original Leopardmon was male. You did know that you're not the first generation of Royal Knights right? The current Leopardmon is the only female Leopardmon ever assembled" Imperialdramon asked "And I was just awoken a little while ago, you're the first Royal Knight I've met so far."

 

"Say you'll telekinetically rip him limb from limb if he doesn't give you his Spirit, and tell him that Huanglongmon told that he had the Beast Spirit" AncientVolcamon commanded. "And then tell him that there's no way in HELL that he's getting the Spirit back, but at least he'll live if you take it"

[Hydra of Ages]

"It would be rather difficult to not know I'm not the first LordKnightmon. If I recall, I'm the fourth to take up the mantle." Mistymon deadpanned. "The old one, the third I think, was the one who trained myself and Dynasmon, after he retired of course. When he could be bothered, anyway. He spent most of his time in his Champion form just sleeping and writing poems, we practically had to kick him unconscious to get him to teach us something when we were smaller."

He smiled briefly at the memory, but shrugged. "I got the feeling that I was much more efficient and effective than he was. He seemed somewhat lazy. And hm. Any idea where the other's might be?" he questioned.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Ah yes, I forgot, LordKnightmon, Huanglongmon rest his soul, was the final Knight from the third group. You've always been the most fickle of the Royal Knights. In fact, you're the first LordKnightmon to keep his predecessor's name. Group two had a LoadKnightmon, while the original was called Crusadermon, he/she was the reason you have Rhodonite armor, no one ever really knew what to call him...or her... Hell, I don't even know" He then shifted back to Dragon Mode, Tara appearing on his back again, and lowered his tail to allow Mistymon and Ceila to walk up. "There are three Royal Knights in the immediate vicinity. Subtract the two fo us and that leaves one Royal Knight underwater. Deep underwater by the feel of it, I'm getting the fainest of faint echos. In addition, there are six Royal Knights in Byakko, five in one group and one separate from the others, with two yet to be reincarnated. I have no idea where Craniamon is and Omnimon's no longer in this world."

Sammys digivice fell to the floor. Its blue colouration glowed brightly, fuelling the shield that covered the three who still stood. Beelzemon stood silent and Samy knelt next to the digivice. SkullMammothmon had dedigivolved into Kotemon and was sobbing next to Sam. None of them really knew what had happened except that Sammy had sacrificed himself to create an impenitrable shield around his friends. Beelzemon tapped his claw against the blue glassy substance that protected them.

"He made it so that nothing could get in, but its too strong none of us can break out of it either." Sighing Beelzemon turned and dedigivovled into Impmon. The small black digimon picked up the digivice in front of a bewildered Sam and placed it into Kotemons hands. "Protect it." Kotemon was silent, all he did was stare at the blue and white object in his hands.

"Can you contact Huanglongmon?" Sam asked Kotemon.

The reptile digimon answered in a whisper, "He normally just makes a portal appear. Or he teleports people onto his back."

"Well then you could be here for quite a while."

[Mr. Hyde]

Beta sighed out of releif. "Phew...that guy stopped chasing us." He flew to the nearest DigiMarine ship and dropped Zach and Terriermon off. "You guys stay here. You don't know what's gonna happe.." Terriermon jumped straight off the ship. He spread out his ears and parachuted onto WaruSeadramon's head.

"HEY!! It's me...GIZAMON! remember!" Aero, Lance, and Zach all gasped.

"Terriermon! come back!"

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Did someone say may name?" A loud booming voice asked in the trio's minds as Sammy's data swirled around them, Huanglongmon's golden DigiSoul replacing it in the bubble shield and his Digivice levitated upwards as well, the DigiSoul spiraling around it in a double helix "Ordinarily this would be no trouble at all but under these conditions, I may not have enough energy to convert him."

Daemon let out a huff and wrapped his wings around himself, then snapped them outward and disappeared in the ensuing data stream "Ogudomon will not be happy that we lost two in one day." He told Belphemon

Daniel repeated "I said, what should we do now?"

 

Meanwhile, Celeste was taking care of the Gallantmon Digi-Egg when Kayla walked in, looking very tired.

"So...hungry..."

"Coming right up! Celeste tried to keep the half-Digimon calm as she prepared a pack of raw DemiDevimon fractal code.

"Good thing we have tons of this stuff from Operation: Cold Snap." Celeste commented as Kayla just ripped open the packet and downed the fractal code.
