Here's my desktop for the month.

2) That's Ubuntu, I presume? It looks like Gnome.

3) Do you like having it set up to be so simple? I suppose it's emulating Windows, but I like having the App/System/etc stuff at the top.

Yeah, it's Ubuntu.

I normally would like to have more stuff on it but then it'll makes everything run slower.

And I know the screen's small but that's the biggest I could make it.

Actually, I'm not a DotA player. Don't like it. But I go around in just about every other game helping nubs get the hang of games in my free time when I'm not doing Clan Matches.

And my screen's about 18 x 15 inches, so yeah
