Anti-Meta is awesome.

It also surprises me that none of you commented on the name of his Ritual Spell. ;D

Fixed to Battle Damage. Thanks.

I really don't wanna add something else. Mainly because I can't think of something else.

Epin Pictures Be Epin.

Thanks.

Thought it was obvious so i didnt bother......

But congrats on the card..... mind checking some of mine out?

I love defense tactics! x3

Well, I said that cuz this card effect takes out many Strong monsters Lol xD

but anyway into the card...

The Ritual Spell Card name is just... funny but it goes with the effect...

This cards are balanced enough... maybe just the extra effect of the Ritual Spell Card makes it a litlee bittle little OPed Lol but it doesn't matter for me ^^

I love anti-meta !^^

I love u! O: well... as a card maker^^

so 8.9/10

Since they're fairly similar, I'll be comparing this to the fairly-runnable Garlandolf, King of Destruction

Garlandolf%2CKingofDestructionABPF-EN-UR-UE.jpg

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Ritual of Destruction". When this card is Ritual Summoned, destroy all other face-up monsters on the field whose DEF is equal to or lower than this card's ATK, and this card gains 100 ATK for every card destroyed by this effect.

Realistically, this will destroy more monsters than your card in most situations. However, this is likely to wipe both sides of the field while yours is more controlled. For the first effect, I'd still rather use Garl since it makes it usable against ALL Decks that might crop up, while your card wouldn't work so well against LS or a fair amount of Tier 2 Decks.

Looking at the Attributes, we have LIGHT vs DARK. Since any Deck with this would be packing plenty of DARK fodder for DAD or Allure, the LIGHT attribute in this just adds Chaos Sorc and Honest to the mix, so I'd say this has the more helpful Attribute.

For Type, Fiend vs Machine. I might be able to use Limiter Removal here, but generally I don't see the Types doing a lot other than weakness to Chimeratech if you didn't get to remove it yet.

For ATK, Garl's effect would make him almost always have more. So he wins there.

[spoiler=Garl's Ritual Spell's Effect]

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Garlandolf, King of Destruction". You must also Tribute monsters whose total Level equals 7 or more from the field or your hand. By removing this card in your Graveyard from play, during this turn, if a Ritual Monster you control destroys a monster by battle, it is not sent to the Graveyard and placed on top of its owner's Deck instead.

For the Ritual Spells, I'm going to assume this sends a random card? (Would be OP'd otherwise, to just remove a GB's Gyz next list since they're rumors of it hitting 1). On that assumption, I'd prefer Garl's since spin can be devastating in denying them to top their ace and works against all Decks.

Considering your card's second effect, the one-turn lack of attack means that anything such as Faultroll or a Batteryman setting up for Short Circuit won't be hit and can get rid of this next turn, I don't think that part is needed.

For the third effect, it's usable against a majority of Decks, but chances are a 15 card Extra has enough fodder to get what they need onto the field before they're forced to remove it, so I don't see this making a huge impact with that.

Overall, this card might be usable for it's Attribute and more targeted destruction, but I see it as mostly outclassed by Garl. Firstly, remove the cannot attack part - it just doesn't seem needed. Secondly, increase the ATK, change the type or add another effect. Any of those done right should bring this to match Garl.

Still, this might become sided in a Deck running Garl, so that it can switch to this if they know their opponent is running good targets for it.

It definitely has points that make it runnable in a compatible Attribute and being side-Deckable for Rituals, and is quite creative in directly removing from the Extra, but it could do with a bit more power before many people would really use it.

Hmm...

Well I could add Effect Monsters with 2500 ATK or higher to it's first effect. It would stop JD and DAD that way. Along with Brionac. Don't wanna add a ATK gain effect. Too simple. ><

I'll change the Ritual Spell effect to a random card. I'll also drop the Attack-Lack effect.

You have alot of good points. But of course I can't edit this enough to beat Garl. xD

Thanks alot Griffin.

Those villains in 5D's are wasting resources summoning those 5-piece craptrons when they can just use Alcadeias, err...this card.

don't see many ritual machines these days' date=' so that's a good start to it

it should be When this card is Ritual Summoned successfully, not successfully Ritual Summoned

and you modified the effect so it's battle damage, so everything looks good for it

9.5/10

I don't really think it matters. Since it has the same effect regardless. o:

I thought Successfully meant if its not negated.

While Summoned meant if its summoned at all?

Well... Either way, useful differential thats still valid is useful.

i have been told previously that it wasnt needed' date=' plus removing it still allows for the effect to go off even if it is Bottomlessed or something... making it slightly more useful.

I'm keeping it. For now atleast.

I'll wait for a few more people to speak their opinion on that part.

That is wonderful

Can you PM me what you searched to find this pic' date=' their mite be other good pics

I remember seeing it on a card somewhere and then finding an identical card but not including the "successfully" bit..... anywhoo, im not lowering the score because of that, i just felt like the monster needed an additional effect.

The extra effect from the Ritual Spell needs to go.

This would get owned by Stardust.

Not that great, tbh. Experienced players won't really swarm with Synchros (or anything) unless they have Stardust (because of, y' know, Lightning Vortex and all). So it won't really be too great, and when compared to the resources you have to waste to summon it, it won't benefit you that much. It would definitely have a place in a Ritual-dedicated deck... but seriously, who runs these? =/

It wasn't made to run in today's game obviously. And why should the extra effect on the Spell go? Seems fine to me and everyone else.

What Synchro Deck doesn't have Stardust Dragon? Which is why it could be useful it you get this out before Stardust. You can remove the Spell to remove Stardust. =D

Eh, Thanks anyway.

That second one would be somewhat overpowered if you're running a Ritual Deck. But seems interesting. Thanks for my next idea Nick.

Changed to send. Better now?

Because it's random and irrelevant. A Ritual is a ceremony through which a task is performed. Once that task is performed the Ritual is over. There should be no use for a Ritual Spell card resting in the Graveyard. It is contradictory.

First of all, the removal is random, meaning you are not guaranteed to remove Stardust. Second, you would only run 1 Stardust if you're running out of space. Third, even excluding Stardust, any monster with higher ATK than this one would deal with it.

To be "anti-meta", a card can't just rely on a one-time destroying effect. Lightning Vortex is a much more efficient way of dealing with Synchros as is, requiring less resources. Meta deals with monsters so fast it's not even funny. Without some way to protect itself, your monster will get wiped in less than three turns with Brionac, RDA, BRD, Goyo, Armor Master and many other cards, to name just Synchros. It's a quite useful card in a Ritual deck, but it has a long way to go before coming close to "anti-meta".

The card's obvious use is to be used against Synchro / Fusion heavy decks. Even if you say "it wasn't made to run in today's game obviously"... it's just no. Because if it isn't run against Synchros or Fusions, it's useless. If it is, it is not competitive. So balance-wise, it is flawed. That's all I'm saying.

You know half of the stuff of Yugioh is contradictory' date=' right?[/b']

Still a chance.

No "I" wouldn't run 1 Stardust. You would. Atleast, that's what you're saying.

...And so what on that third one. D:

I could be planning to make extra support for this. You never know. It could have a way to protect itself. D: But I do admit that you're right.

I suppose you are once again right. I was just a little angry. What would you suggest on adding to make it stronger though? If it destroys monsters, regardless if damage was dealt, remove 1 from the Extra Deck? This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Fusion/Synchro monsters or be destroyed in battle by them?

I need suggestions here. >_>
