Thousands of years ago, the Dark Crimson Dragon, which led the evil Dragon Star Empire, waged a war against the Immortal Ones, the guardians of the free tribes of the desert. The Dark Crimson Dragon, along with its vile spawn, were vanquished, but the Immortal Ones were sealed away in the Nazca Lines.

Now, centuries later, Neo Domino City is under attack. People are disappearing as mysterious figures in black cloaks abduct both the citizens of the city and the poor unfortunate souls in Satellite, a slum island created from a cataclysmic event 16 years earlier, which is now ruled by the despot outlaw Crow Hogan.

Fortunately, Rex Godwin, the mayor of Neo Domino City and an influential member of Yliaster, an organization created to protect the Immortal Ones, has managed to create copies of the Immortal Ones, which have been reborn as...Ritual Monsters?!?

He has also assembled a motley crew of duelists, ranging from Duel King Kyosuke Kiryu, who just wrested the title from Bommer, another chosen duelist, to famous fashion model Misty Lola to unlucky blogging intern Carly Nagisa. Together, these "Immortal Signers" must take on the Dark Dragon Signers, the servants of the Dark Crimson Dragon and the bearers of its monstrous children.

Will the Immortal Signers overcome the evil Dark Dragon Signers, or will the world be engulfed in darkness?

The Dark Dragons are Dark Synchro Monster variants of the original Signer Dragons. Since they are Dark Sycnrho versions, give them a bit more power to their effects, but they are, in esence, dark counterpart cards, minus the DARK Attribute.

The Immortal Ones, on the other hand, are Ritual Monster versions of the Earthbound Immortals. They can't be LIGHT or DARK, but they usually have modified effects, and are no longer dependant of Field Spell cards, but can be attacked and can't attack directly with their effects.

Bio: Carly always wanted to do something amazing, but she ended up in a dead-end job at a B-list blogging site, until PSMB officers came around and hauled her away.

She thought she was in trouble, but it turned out that she was one of seven duelists who could use the Immortal One Ritual Monsters, and she had her deck upgraded by Yliaster from Fortune Fairies into Fortune Ladies.

Now, she's ready to fight the Dark Dragon Signers...if she can find one!!!

She's been searching for her brother with whatever spare money she has, but has masked her pain with a smile.

Personality: Bommer is usually relativly friendly, at least when not dueling - When he is he's serious about it. He's a proud person, but he's relativly stoic, and he also has a fondness for kids and a sympathy for the less fortunate.

Bio: Bommer comes from a destitute village, and so learnt a lot from dueling. Later, he taught the younger children in his village to duel as well. When he became an adult, he came to Neo Domino City to try and earn money to help his village. His dueling skills brought him to the attenition of Red Godwin, who backed him and gave him the chance to rise to become the Duel King, until his recent loss of the title. The money he made through dueling has meant that the standerd of life in his village has improved greatly. However since he has been away his village was devistated by what was apparently an earthquake, and he wished to get back there to help out. The fact that Godwin claims that he's needed to protect the world has, however, resulted in him agreeing to stay, at least until the Dark Dragon Signers are defeated.

Appearance: Has a criminal marking going down the entire right side of his face. Otherwise is physically unchanged.

Duel Disk: A Disk on the Runner of a Sector Security officer.

Duel Runner: A stolen Sector Security Runner.

Personality: Solemn and serious to the point of cold, shuns most everyone who approaches him. Shows great disdain for the concept of friends, but will join others if he deems it advantageous to his goals. Remains a clever and skilled duelist, but is more reckless outside of dueling, which has led to many of his small-scale and even higher scale criminal activities.

Bio: Orphaned at a young age, Yusei stayed apart from most other children, preferring to be on his own. He quickly grew to hate the Satellite, finding it a dead-end in life that stopped anyone from amounting to their real potential. Determined to evade this fate, he took up dueling, swiftly learning the game and using his skill to set himself above the ones he defeated. He frequently took cards from the loser of the duel and tossed away cards that were useless to him. Like with people, cards without potential were dead-weight, stopping a duelist from rising to their true ability. He was approached to join one of the numerous Duel Gangs in Satellite, but found being a subordinate didn't suit his vision of his potential, and eventually left to establish his own agenda. He was arrested and sent to the Facility after a reckless burglary went awry, resulting in a death, and was given a criminal marking. Knowing his crime carried the greatest penalty, he swiftly seized the chance to escape, stealing back his deck and an officer's Duel Runner. He returned to the Satellite to hide out and lay low.

Personality: He's arrogant, mean and he hates losing. After his death, he started to hate the living and he thinks that everything can be solved by just killing the cause of every problem.

Bio: Born in Satellite, Jack grew up in a harsh enviroment. When he reached the age of 18 however, he was invited to the city by Godwin and there competed in a tournament. He was doing good untill the final when he accidentaly was killed during a duel with Bommer. He however arose as a Dark Dragon Signer and went to Satellite. There, he dueled Yusei and killed him, turning Yusei into a fellow Dark Dragon Signer.

Bio: When a young Aki accidentally killed her parents with her burdeoning powers, she ran away from home, becoming a psychopathic duelist that killed the losers. Misty's little brother was one of these poor, unfortunate souls.

But, one day, Aki was defeated by a mysterious cloaked man, and prished from her own abilities.

Whn she awoke, she found herself transformed into a Dark Dragon Signer by Yusei, the man who killed her. She initially despised him, but she is now madly in love with him.

Name: Ruka (Blackstone, if we decide on a last name you get dibs >.<).

Gender: Female

Appearance: Ruka is a bit different then her "mainstream version" for one, her eyes are unlike most Dark Signers, a pale white with a green pupils with a green triangle on her left cheek, after being struck by Ancient Fairy Dragon's Ancient Sunshine. Her usual clothing is a Dark Signer robe with green marks on it with a tightly held green scarf around her neck.

Duel Disk/Duel Runner: Her Duel Disk is the same as her mainstream version's one but replacing the pink highlights with black ones. She also has the Duel Board, though obtained through other matters that is the same color as her Disk.

Personality: Previously a lively and witty girl, this Ruka has been forever scarred by her assault in the Spirit World. While remaining emotionless at most times, Ruka actually shows a great care for her brother and some of the other Dark Dragon Signers, considering them to be her family.

Bio: Ruka lived with her brother Rua at most of the time in the Tops, residing quite peacefully, the two were only disrupted by Ruka's entrance to the Spirit World. Due to the Spirit World hosting of all possible realities and being able to communicate with them, a mainstream version of the Ancient Fairy Dragon appeared. Sensing that this Ruka was a threat and a Chosen to the Dark Dragon, she attacked Ruka with a Ancient Sunshine, blinding her completely.

 

Though being saved by the other residents of Spirit World, Ruka was attacked again and again at regular times until... The embrace of a hit attack struck Ruka and she died for the land bellow.

 

When she awoke shortly afterwards she was guarded by a Dark Figure of the Ancient Fairy Dragon, who disentergrated her counterpart. Led by a man shrouded in darkness, the Ancient Archangel Dragon granted her back her eyesight, and transformed her, into a Dark Signer to serve her purpose.

Personality: A subservient woman who does what she's told like a good little girl, she actually plans on stabbing them all in the back one day.

Bio: Mikage was the one who managed to get Jack to come to Neo Domino, and they had a wonderful time together, until Jack was killed in a freak accident. Overcome with grief, she committed suicide to be with him.

Until she awoke in her lover's arms, now a Dark Dragon Signer. She is still a servant to the Dark Dragon Signers, but she plots behind their backs, planning on usurping Yusei and Aki to take over the Dark Dragon Signers with Jack. Unfortunately, everyone, including Jack, is oblivious to the plot.

Duel Disk/Duel Runner: He has the same Duel Disk pre-DS as he did in the original, but post-DS, it gets black and turquoise accents. He also gets a maroon and turquoise Duel Runner.

Personality: Cruel and malicious. He seems like a nice guy on the outside, but he is actually very manipulative. This darker side of him becomes fully manifested once he joins the Dark Dragon Signers.

Bio: Sayer is the head of the Arcadia Movement, a group of Psychic Duelists that covertly assist the PSMB. Sayer, though, is secretly sowing the seeds of betrayal, since he wants to take over the city. To do that, he's allowing the Dark Dragon Signers access into the city and the ability to commute between Satellite and Neo Domino with ease.

How he becomes a Dark Dragon Signer will be revealed in good time...

Name: Crow Hogan

Appearance: Really?

Duel Disk/Duel Runner: The same as he has in the original anime. He stole them from Pearson and Bolger.

Personality: Cunning, yet he has a sliver of honor left.

Bio: Crow grew up in the slums of Satellite, along with Yusei, Jack, and Kiryu. They created a team of duelists called "Team Satisfaction", which cleaned up the streets and united Satellite under one banner. Unfortunately, Yusei got cocky and murdered a PSMB officer, causing him to be sentenced to death. Kiryu managed to escape the collapse of Team Satisfaction's empire, and Jack was killed shortly after he followed Kiryu.

Crow now controls most of Satellite, with only a few pockets of rebellion that are mostly handled by the PSMB. But the Dark Dragon Signers are really becoming a thorn in Crow's side, causing him to lose support as people are disappearing left and right. He really doesn't know what to do now...

Duel Disk: A Academy Duel Disk made with Red and Black highlights replacing the Blue and White ones.

Duel Runner: A Duel Board resembling Rua's.

Personality: Sly's personality is much more playful and friendly then his other counterpart, however he still keeps to himself occasionally. He still has a large interest for powerful cards, being tempted to steal them once or twice but has become a bit more willing to have the others possess it due to him stealing one in his childhood more then once.

Bio: Sly was born in the Tops and lived easy live overall with caring parents and a decent dueling skill. Unfortunatly his knack for wishing to steal powerful cards had him known as a somewhat troubled youth. He actually managed to rob a man with red glasses and a odd Duel Runner once, there he obtained the Tech Genus cards. However, shortly afterwards, Dark Glass had been killed by a shadowy dragon and Sly was left with the grief that only if he had not stolen the cards the man could have protected himself.

 

Given the power of choice, Sly entered the Duel Academy of New Domino, hoping to learn so he could avenge the man with his deck.

Appearance: Brown hair, blue-brown eyes, often wears a red jacket over a blue shirt and red tie. His jeans are navy blue and his Headband is green. He often stands in a "Cool" pose to counter his nerdiness. He also wears square, brown-rimmed glasses, similar to Carly's.

Duel Disk/Duel Runner: His disk is Lime Green with a yellow centre. The shape is similar to a standard GX duel disk with the white parts in black.

Personality: He admires almost any girl he sees, and is often a bit childish and nerdy. He prefers to duel than do his day-job: being a newspaper article writer.

Bio: Nabe has always wanted to be cool, but unfortunately his likes and dislikes resulted in him being rejected from many of his school and class societies. Through this he ended up aspiring to work as a writer, and he wound up in the same company as Carly nagisa. He notices her from the corners of his eyes and often thinks she could help him out, but he is too shy to ask for advice or to say how he feels. As a side-effect, he often stalks her and attempts to steal news stories - or at least, used to try stealing them from her.

Faction: N/A, but he does secretly follow Carly, thus making him a stalker.

Personality: Unlike most of the duelists around his age, Goh tends to keep calm in most situations. However even while calm

he has been known to be a jerk and is usually very cocky when in a duel.

 

Bio: Being born and raised with in the Satalite, Goh never really interacted with the others around him and mostly kept to himself

and his books about futurisic warfair. Around the age of fourteen Goh started to play Duel Monsters as a way to meet others and to

express his love for machines. After four years of playing and making friends Goh had learned how to stay safe from the dangers of

his home, this being one of the only reasons why he is one of the few remaining citizens of his treasured home.

Personality: Bommer is usually relatively friendly, at least when not dueling - When he is he's serious about it. He's a proud person, but he's relatively stoic, and he also has a fondness for kids and a sympathy for the less fortunate.

Bio: Bommer comes from a destitute village, and so learnt a lot from dueling. Later, he taught the younger children in his village to duel as well. When he became an adult, he came to Neo Domino City to try and earn money to help his village. His dueling skills brought him to the attention of Rex Godwin, who backed him and gave him the chance to rise to become the Duel King, until his recent loss of the title. The money he made through dueling has meant that the standard of life in his village has improved greatly. However since he has been away his village was devastated by what was apparently an earthquake, and he wished to get back there to help out. The fact that Godwin claims that he's needed to protect the world has, however, resulted in him agreeing to stay, at least until the Dark Dragon Signers are defeated.

Appearance: Brown hair, blue-brown eyes, often wears a red jacket over a blue shirt and red tie. His jeans are navy blue and his Headband is green. He often stands in a "Cool" pose to counter his nerdiness. He also wears square, brown-rimmed glasses, similar to Carly's.

Duel Disk/Duel Runner: His disk is Lime Green with a yellow centre. The shape is similar to a standard GX duel disk with the white parts in black.

Personality: He admires almost any girl he sees, and is often a bit childish and nerdy. He prefers to duel than do his day-job: being a newspaper article writer.

Bio: Nabe has always wanted to be cool, but unfortunately his likes and dislikes resulted in him being rejected from many of his school and class societies. Through this he ended up aspiring to work as a writer, and he wound up in the same company as Carly nagisa. He notices her from the corners of his eyes and often thinks she could help him out, but he is too shy to ask for advice or to say how he feels. As a side-effect, he often stalks her and attempts to steal news stories - or at least, used to try stealing them from her.

Faction: N/A, but he does secretly follow Carly, thus making him a stalker.

Quick question while I'm working on the app for Yusei. Are there any specific changes to character personality/history that are needed, aside from the switched "roles" of Signer/Dark Signer characters or is that more or less left to us?

Well, the decks are more or less the same, except they would have different ace cards, such as Yusei would use an evil version of Stardust Dragon.

But you can always modify the decks slightly to suit your needs.
