Rex was now very serious.

"You DO realize who you will have to fight, Kiryu? These aren't just random people off of the street that you all will go up against. Every one of your opponents has a vendetta against you, and will stop at nothing to kill you."

"Remember Yusei, Kiryu? He isn't dead. Not anymore, at least."

Rudger's arm also started to hurt, and a spider mark appeared on it. His deck also changed to fit his new role as an Immortal Signer, turning it into a Spider deck and also adding Uru, Immortal One aswell as it's Ritual Spell Card. Instead of commenting this he turned to Demak.

"So you haven't dueled in years? I thought you were pretty good at college."

At the same time, in Satellite, a lone figure was sitting on a throne placed in what looked like an old dining hall used for special events. He appeared to be sleeping, but suddenly opened his eyes and looked through the room of where he was sitting.

"Heh, finally! Bommer, you will pay for this!" He raised his left arm, revealing the glowing, purple mark resembling the Dragon's left wing.

OoC: I figured that Jack's Signer would be Bommer, as he was the one who "killed" him. I just can't find a reason for Mirror Jack to hate Mirror Carly.

"Yusei's one of the cloaked holograms?" Kiryu asked, suddenly getting a little more interested "Well Hell, you should have lead with that one. I'll beat all seven of those other dragons to get to Yusei if I have to..." He paused and looked around the room, taking a headcount "Wait a minute, Rexy, someone's missing, there's eight of them but only seven of us, so either someone's not here, the short people count as a single unit or I get to take two people down. Which one is it?" He asked, rolling up his sleeve to look at the giant on his arm and shaking his head.

"I am concerned about that as well." Rex replied. "But currently, there are only 6 Dragons active, with the seventh still waiting for its host and their father, the Dark Crimson Dragon, waiting to be unsealed from its prison in the Underworld."

He then turned to the rest of the Immortal Signers, the monument changing into a tower and the starry landscape transforming into a city.

"Do any of you remember what happened 16 years ago?"

"Muscles, Baldy, I think he's talking to you now." Kiryu said, leaning up against an ornately carved stone pillar depicting, ironically, the fight between Stardust Dragon and Ccapac Apu, Immortal One. "Nagisa and I were just babies back then and Bommy and Misty were probably too young to Duel, so you two are the only ones old enough to have firsthand experience with the event that turned the Satellite from suburb to slum in one fell swoop." He clenched his fists tight enough to make his knuckles audibly pop and shook his head, driving out the memories again.

"Rudger and I were there when it happened." Rex simply stated. "We were scientists working for the head of the Momentum Project, Dr. Fudo, when he went rogue and detonated the prototype system. The resulting shockwave killed him, and his lovely wife, but spared his son, Yusei. Rudger and I managed to escape, though just barely."

"Now I am the leader of this beautiful city, yet those that chose to remain in Old Domino, or 'Satellite', as people now call it, live in a state of anarchy barely controlled by the PSMB. Crow Hogan, a former friend of Kiryu's, rules the city with an iron fist, but he may or may not be under the control of the Dark Dragon Signers."

"Crow is a selfish, arrogant, self righteous, violent bastard." Kiryu piped up, eyes closed, "The only way he'd be under control of the Dark Dragon Signers, as you call them, is if he was one of them, and, since no one else here knows Crow, unless he's the odd Signer out, he's still his own man." He shook his head "And, knowing how much that prick hates children and given the size of those two," he gestured vaguely in the direction where the two child sized holograms were, "he would die before he would ever work with them."

"Crow!"

Crow sighed as his majordomo, Martha, entered the room.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Call me 'Master'!"

"Fine then, 'Master'. She's here again."

"God! How many times do I have to tell them?!? I'm not gonna join their little cult!!!"

"But Cr-, 'Master', they have a large number of followers, and they could cause a lot of trouble for us if they rebel. In fact, I'm surprised they haven't yet."

Crow sighed again.

"Fine. Show her in."

Martha bowed, and motioned for the guards to open the doors to the throne room.

A young woman with blue hair, pale skin, a tight black dress with a miniskirt, and golden eyes in a deep sea of black entered the room.

"Greetings, Master Crow." Mikage curtly bowed to the self-proclaimed overlord of Satellite.

"Hi. No. Bye."

"But Master Crow, think about it. By throwing in your lot with us, you could easily take over Neo Domino, and get your revenge against Kiryu, the one who wronged you, Yusei, and Jack!"

"Yeah, but while I was the arrogant hothead of the bunch, I still thought of Kiryu with respect. I only stabbed him in the back AFTER he left for Neo Domino!"

"Your rule will be eternal with the gifts that the Dark Crimson Dragon can give you!"

"Have you had breakfast today?"

Mikage was caught off guard by this sudden question.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I said, did you have breakfast this morning?"

"Umm...no...but those of us blessed by the Dark Crimson Dragon no longer require sustenance."

"And when was the last time you ate?"

"A year ago, when Jack died. I started to starve myself in the days before I killed myself."

"Martha, bring in a cheeseburger from the kitchen!"

Martha ran off, while the guards closed the door.

"Crow, what are you doing?" Mikage asked, slightly irritated.

"You'll see. Guards, please help Miss Sagiri up. She looks a bit weak."

Two guards moved in and each grabbed Mikage's arm, locking her in position.

"Let me go! When Yusei hears about this, he'll-"

Martha entered the chamber with a cheeseburger, all wrapped up and looking more or less fresh.

"Eat the cheeseburger."

"WHAT?!?"

"You heard me! EAT IT, OR DIE!!!"

Martha had unwrapped the cheeseburger and placed it in front of the Dark Signer's face. She grimaced, then bit into the sandwich. Surprisingly, she stopped a couple of chews in, the expression on her face changing into one of surprise instead of rage, and she just chewed slowly.

"How is it?"

Mikage gulped down the bite, still looking dumbstruck.

"I...I can't...taste it..."

Crow grinned in triumph.

"Unlike you, I enjoy some of the simpler things in life, like a good meal to eat, a good glass of wine to drink, a beautiful sunset to look at after a long day, and a warm bed to sleep in at night."

He motioned to his guards.

"Show Miss Sagiri out. She knows my answer."

The guards escorted a very shocked Mikage out of the chamber and closed the door behind them.

Martha and Crow exhaled and turned to each other.

"I'm impressed. How did you know that would work?" Martha asked her superior.

Crow chuckled. "I didn't! I just had a hunch, and I gambled on it. It apparently payed off rather well."

"You do know she'll be back eventually with either a new reason for you to join, a counter to your little trick, or a large mob of cultists."

"She won't attack us. Yusei wants me to join willingly to show that he's the one in power, not me. Jack probably agrees with Yusei, and since Jack's the one with Mikage's leash, she won't get violent as long as Yusei wills it."

Crow slumped back into his throne.

"The question is, how much time have I bought now?"

OOC: So I pm'd YRP about joining this RP and I was accepted sooo....

The sun peaked through a dusty window, it's light casting a soft hue on the man sleeping on the bed beside it. "Mwerh... I don't want to wake up yet..." Little did the man know that he slept through the morning and was already running behind on his plans. With a small grunt and a yawn he sat up and glanced at the clock that rested on the wall across the room. "funk! I overslept!" Without an second to spare the man sprung into action, quickly getting dressed and running out of his one room domain with his duel disk and deck prepared. Being one of the few Satalite citizans that didn't belong to a faction, the man had often pondered if it was wise to keep to himself or if he should try to gain some power instead of being a young hermit. Dashing toward the main part of the Satalite the man glanced up at the clouds, wondering if this would be the day that his name became known.

((Wow. You kinda scared me for a second!))

((Get used to this, guys. For now, Shadius isn't here to shut down our RP. In fact, he's now a member.))

Aki, satisfied from taking the soul of Rally Dawson, walked down the streets of Satellite, her cloak protecting her from ths sunlight. She then came to a place across from Crow Hogan's heavily-fortified compound, which was opening its gates for a blue-haired Dark Signer.

Aki grineed as she stepped forward to help her sister.

"So, how did it go? What is this, the 47th time you've asked him to join us?"

Mikage stuck out her tongue at Aki, then slumped down onto the curb.

"He still won't see the light, or darkness, in this case. He's so stubborn, and he even figured out one of our weaknesses! So we can't taste or smell, and our vision is only suitable for dark areas? We're immortal, and we are blessed by the Dark Crimson dragon with his divine gifts! That should be enough justification to join our cause! And Yusei is positive that he is the last of us!"

Aki didn't have much to say. She felt no remorse for Mikage, since no one had really shown her remorse in her life, and given the fact that Mikage was a manipulative suck-up, Aki had good reason to not fell sorry for the girl.

Until she sensed something.

"Mmmm...that energy...where's it coming from?"

((Your cue, Shadius.))

Looking for signs of life through the Satalite the man sees what would seem to be two figures engaging in conversation. //I wonder which group they pledge allegence to, do they work for that idiot Crow or...// Quickly shaking his head the man glances again at the figures, focusing on the one that was dressed in black in pink robes. //I probably shouldn't do this but if I ever plan to take this place as my own...// Without another thought he slowly drudged towards the two, his duel disk was prepped on his arm and his express was kept in his usual calm matter. "Hey Pinky, I'm guessing your part of one of the groups that thinks they own the Satalite?"

Aki laughed at this know-it-all kid.

"We don't THINK we own this town! We KNOW we own this town! And for your insolence, I want to take a little something from you."

She dragged the young man with her into a dark alley, and placed him just far enough away from him so they could duel.

"You ready to die, kid?" She asked as she activated her Duel Disk.

"Heh, someone's cocky. You act as if your suprior yet you have no idea what I can do. Why don't you start us off?" The man clicked a button on his duel disk causing it's HUD to quickly flicker on, revealing a small counter that showed the number 4000. //Guessing from the clothes she doesn't seem to be part of Crow's little gang. Does this mean shes apart of the group whoses been kidnapping people?// In an attempt to ignore his thoughts the man started to draw his hand, placing the five cards in his left hand.

Aki licked her lips as she drew her five cards.

"Ooh! I'm gonna enjoy taking you apart Life Point by Life Point! You'll be begging e to end your suffering when I'm done with you!"

She drew her 6th card.

"I summon my little bitty Lonefire Blossom in Attack Mode."

A plant with a flammable-looking bulb grew up out of the pavement on Aki's side of the field. (500 ATK)

"Next, I will set this little number, then end my turn!"

Aki: 4000 LP

Hand: 4

Monsters: Lonefire Blossom (500 ATK)

Spells/Traps: 1 FD

Graveyard: 0

"A Plant user eh? I'm suprised you didn't use your Lonefire's effect." Drawing his 6th card the man couldn't help but to smirk, he was liking the girl's attitude and loved to crush cocky opponents. "I'll start by summoning my Clockwork Condor then by using his effect I get to summon a Clockwork token to my side of the field!" A bird took it's place in front of the

man, it's body made up from gears and steam machines. (Atk: 1400) Next to the bird appeared a floating golden gear, slowly spinning in place. (Atk: 1000). "I'll set two cards face down then call it a turn."

"My turn, and I activate my Trap Card, Nature's Retribution!"

Then, you may Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand with an ATK equal to or less than the DEF of the destroyed monster.

Lonefire Blossom disappeared to cause tons of vines to grow around the dueling field.

"Now I will Normal Summon Botanical Girl in Attack Mode, set a card, then end my turn!"

A beautiful plant woman blossomed out of the ground as a face-down appeared on Aki's field. (1300 ATK)

Aki: 4000 LP

The man almost broke out in laughter, his deck was perfect for controlling monsters and it seemed like his opponents liked summoning alot of monsters. "So, why don't you tell me your name as I make my move?" Drawing his card from his deck the man glanced at the field, trying to what figure out what his best possible action could be. "I'll activate the spell card Creature Swap, so now I get control of your little plant and in return you get to have my token." The monsters quickly switched places and the man couldn't stop smirking. "Next I think I'll set a monster and another face down card to call it a turn."

"The name's Aki, by the way." She purred as she drew her card.

"Thank you ever so much for that Token, because now I'm going to tribute it to Normal Summon Rose Tentacles in Attack Mode!"

A strange-looking plant sprouted from the Token's position. (2200 ATK)

"Now I play Nature's Disfavor!"

Nature's Disfavor

Trap/Continuous

You can only activate this card if you have a face-up "Nature's Retribution" and/or "Nature's Vendetta" on your side of the field. During your Battle Phase, negate any Spell and Trap Card effects during a battle involving a Plant-Type monster.

More vines creeped along the walls and ground of the area around the duel.

"Now, my Rose Tentacles, attack both of his monsters!"
