1st TCG Exclusive for TSHD [Infernity Barrier]

Recommended Posts

Activate only when your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, if you control a face-up Attack Position "Infernity" monster and are completely screwed up the ass when it comes to field control and are completely dependent on whatever it is you topdeck. Negate the activation and destroy that card.

Infernities are nothing more than a luck-based deck/archetype that are terrible for the game.

Think about it, the constant theme throughout Yu-Gi-Oh thus far(and throughout MANY TCG forums) is the use of skill to maintain card advantage: primarily, hand advantage. If you have significant hand advantage over your opponent, chances are you have the upper hand(no pun intended.) Infernities, albeit fun before Trishula and Beetle, are only run to win tournaments in 1 way and 1 way only: to waste your hand and topdeck your way into a win.

Promoting that type of play is identical to the plays people were complaining about with Lightsworn. Topdeck JD, game. Topdeck JD, game. Topdeck JD, game. etc ad nauseum.

Unfortunately, unless Trishula, Archfiend, Gun, or Beetle get on an emergency banlist for this format or soon thereafter, we're going to have to deal with a lot of Infernity decks sacking into top 16s/8s/4s.

That's just how it is and there's really no way to get around it. =/

Apparently you haven't read the numerous accounts of the same Infernity OTK decks running about on shriek and DMG.

Otherwise you wouldn't have said that.

And frankly, Olly, as much as I love you, the Infernity archetype needs to get fixed. Because right now it's broken as hell.

Shh, Eric. They cannot know of our love. =P

Thing is, we don't have Trish, which is actually rather weakening to the deck, as in the OCG, Trish allows to stop Necro, Battle Fader, Gorz, Trago.. etc.

I'm going to kill you.

What with? A giant, mildly phallic hundred-eyed dragon? Or maybe a crap EBIM with an E-Hero-style effect?

Pah, you Kiryu lovahs make me laugh with sheer pity. xD

On a more serious note, Infernitys are s*it.

BAIBAI!

Your "serious" isn't serious, because swear words auto-kill your own arguments.

Anyways, you DO realize that Kiryu fans have two sources that say they can use guns, right? You may want to stop messing with them.

Too bad the guns in Crash Town are used for throwing at people.

It's a f***ing Solemn Judgment. What outclasses it? Besides the real Solemn Judgment which is limited.

....They can still Normal Summon.

Just' date=' the next effect Spell/Trap/Monster effect they try to use agenst you, will get tagged by this.

[/quote']

There is no cost for this aswell, athough you need to have no cards in your hand, making it a bit situational, but with Infernitys, it isn't too much of a problem. Then again, you shouldn't just get rid of your entire hand on one turn and end up you lost all your cards because of an opponents spell or trap card.

still, you can use the trap card phantom hand.
