Maybe you're battling against a pokemon with Super Luck..

Anyway, Will there be BETTER art of Drayden, Iris, and the Unova Elite Four?

I just think my opponent's have super luck. And I would know if the pokemon had super luck. And even then, the odds don't improve that much.

Odds are we'll get some new art with "Grey"

Anyway, just got my Axew. It's a Jolly one AND with Mold Breaker so I'm SUPER happy.

So, got to the town with the 7th gym. Team atm

Fraxure - 39

Moves: Dig, Dragon Dance, Rock Smash, Dragon Claw

Excadrill - 41

Moves: Metal Claw, Earthquake, Hone Claws, Rockslide

Galvantula - 41

Moves: Electroweb, Flash (filler), Single Beam, Volt Switch

Lampent - 41

Moves: Night Shade, Will-O-Wisp, Flame Burst, Hex

Samurott - 44

Revenge, Strength, Razor Shell, Suf

Should be getting the last member of my team by days end and should be the game on Wednesday.

I had more trouble getting around Drayden's gym than I did with Drayden myself despite having no Ice or Dragon moves what so ever. And Brycen....he was easy too. A little annoyed that Ice Beam/Flamethrower aren't avaliable until after the main game, but Thunderbolt is.

Lol. I got bored on that and never beat Red.

Training for the E4 now, Zweilous is Lv 51 and its Hustle ability is starting to drive me mad.(It means I have to keep switching so its doesn't get Ko'd, its listed as Slow on EXP, but so is Eelektrik and that doesn't seem to take so long). Can't wait to get it Lv 64 so it evolves and gets Levitate instead. Gonna take team in about Lv 60 with Hydreigon Lv 64. Overtraining, but I've watched someone face them on Youtube and they look difficult. Its nice to see Ghost/Dark/Psychic/Fighting aligned like they are.

I know I can get out before facing N and Ghetsis if I need more training so its cool. =D.

So long as the nature doesn't hurt what it's trying to do (for most lower it's main attack stat or speed) most natures aren't that bad in game. Stil getting good ones is always nice. Like the Mienfoo I just got is Adamant. That makes me super happy.

What are you doing for so long? I mean really, in 2/3 that time I got 5 badges. Still, at least your enjoying right.

My team is extremely underleveled. Deino is 48 while the rest is 42-44, and I'm at the Victory Road. Durant hurts REALLY hard since I don't have any Pokémon (except my 25 Pansear) that knows any Fire moves. I could go for the TM Incinerate, but I cba to get 48BPs >_>

Your not underleveled since the E4 are around your level if I'm not mistaken.

Cheren(What ever his name is) never stops battling you, I'm@ the 5th gym and I've battled him about 12 times...

I personally like it. It shows your rival is more of a rival then only having him show up a handful of time.

Also, a little sad that my Mienfoo doesn't have Regen, but in game the ability isn't that great since you have healing items anyway. Plus, I'm not giving up and adamant nature over something like that. Mine also happens to be a beast. He's leveling up SUPER fast and drain punch is AMAZING. He's so amazing he can get frozen only to insta-unfreeze.

I literally used Mienfoo for 90% of the matches in the gym, and I hadn't even trained him at that point. He started at 31 and ended at 38. I'm SOOOO happy I picked him. Anway, team at this point.

Mienfoo - 38

Moves: Work Up, Drain Punch, Rock Slide, Jump Kick.

Fraxure - 39

Moves: Dig, Dragon Dance, Rock Smash, Dragon Claw

Excadrill - 41

Moves: Metal Claw, Earthquake, Hone Claws, Rockslide

Galvantula - 41

Moves: Electroweb, Flash (filler), Single Beam, Volt Switch

Chandelure - 42

Moves: Night Shade, Will-O-Wisp, Flame Burst, Hex

Samurott - 44

Revenge, Strength, Razor Shell, Suf

I'm about 0 minutes into the game and am just about to pick my starter.

But seriously, I'm getting tempted to play, so I might play up until the end of the main game, and then do all the after-game stuff once I get the 3DS.

idk though.

You COULD get the other version and do a second play through on that. Or you could reset. Really, I think the pokemon franchise is my favorite franchise, so for me to have unplayed game when all I need to do is open my DS would drive me mad.

I'm technically okay with using a ROM if you have bought the game or plan on buying the game, so I could always do a playthrough of Black until after the E4, and then do after-game stuff on my 3DS.

And if I want to replay the game, which I doubt I will, I can ROM it.

Besides, I'm way too tempted to wait three goddamn months, and everyone is talking about Black since it came out. It's only been two schooldays, but still. ._.

Guise, my Purloin keeps getting Critical'd D:

It makes training it very annoying.

I has having the same problem. Team is almost done though, so the problem is gone now.

Any way, have all 8 badges. Team atm

Samurott (Bushido) - LV 48

Moves: Revenge, Strength, Razor Shell, Surf

Mienfoo (Monk) - LV 45

Moves: Work Up, Drain Punch, U-turn, Jump Kick

Fraxure (Blade) - LV 45

Moves: Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Shadow Claw

Chandelure (Hitodama) - LV 45

Moves: Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp, Flame Burst, Hex

Excadrill (Gurren) - LV 45

Moves: Earthquake, Sword Dance, Rock Slide, Metal Claw

Galvantula (Venom; I don't like that name) - LV 44

Moves: Electroweb, Struggle Bug, Single Beam, Volt Switch (he needs better moves)

Either I super zoned out or I never battle lady rival after getting my 8th badge. It's odd though cause I have her starters final form on my pokedex. All she did was give me Max Revives. Anyone else have this happen?

Btw Durant's speed is about 95-97 ish on Victory Road, just so you know. It has high Atk and high Sp, low Hp.

Zweilous is Lv 63, Durant's bug bite is making it painful for it.

Rest of team is about is Lv 54. Evolved Eelektrik Level 52, because the Wild Charge TM is on Victory Road.

E4 is Lv 48-50 due to the order you face. N maxes at Lv 52 (His legendary, rest of team is Lv 50) with Ghetsis' highest Hydreigon at Lv 54 (yea another impossible pokemon)

You battle Bianca after the 7th gym, with her starters final form on the way to the Tubeline Bridge.

E4 weren't hard at all. In the end I didn't end that over leveled compared to them and I still had no problem. The only one that took more then a few turns was Physic because I spent turns using revives since I wanted to give some experience to me other pokemon. I did the same thing against N because idk. for the last battle I said screw it and just went on instinct and not one of my pokemon even fainted. Game was great, and I like how it ended.

My team at the end.
