=Discussion= So I've noticed a Loophole in one of my Rules

Lol, Eibon is referring to me... He posted a thread in contests with his <100 posts, and I told him to read teh rules and that he wasn't allowed to make one. Then he started calling me and someone else douchebags. Because we told him to read the rules.

 

Wow, I made that entire statement without insulting him once. That must be some sort of personal record.

Thank you for not insulting me. and I'm not just refering to you. there are others that have done worse. Kenta posted a thread about Duel Spirits and got bashed on because it was "Pointless" when it was just for fun. I posted a thread about the official Forbidden list to see if anyone else was alittle upset about some of the cards on the list and got over a dozen people screaming how i'm stupid because I dont just roll over and die like most others. I don't like being treated poorly for my opinion or for common mistakes and I bet others don't like it. People should be nice and kind.

I posted a thread about the official Forbidden list to see if anyone else was alittle upset about some of the cards on the list and got over a dozen people screaming how i'm stupid because I dont just roll over and die like most others. I don't like being treated poorly for my opinion or for common mistakes and I bet others don't like it. People should be nice and kind.

 

 

I admit, the site, especially TCG & Your Deck, can be very harsh on people and could word their comments more kindly. Kenta's not a new member at all, but many people in TCG are only interested in the discussion of a card's usefulness, at least in that section, so would have rather he post the thread in General, or Games, or somewhere that isn't their little TCG section.

 

For your thread on Forbidden, it's because the TCG section is largely semi-competitive play. Without a Forbidden list, people's Decks could so easily be made to win in a couple turns that removing it really would ruin the game for most players. You might have been more lucky if you'd phrased it more as a question. "I don't exactly understand why the Forbidden list is needed, especially with so many cards, could someone explain it to me and maybe give some examples of why it's so needed?" Yes, it's hard for new members that don't know what's expected of them, and I try to be kind where I can, but sometimes you just have to live through the occasional idiots throwing insults.
