Well, as far as Dragons in general, there's a few different effects provided by the Dragunity monsters when equipped. One treats the monster as a Tuner, one Special Summons itself, one allows double attacks, one allows to attack directly (but damage is halved), and adding a Level 4 or lower monster of the same Type and Attribute from your deck to your hand.

 

None of those are exactly extremely powerful, but they're pretty useful in certain situations. For Dragunities, I'd say it can be really useful.

 

EDIT: Also, I noticed this card doesn't say it has to be a certain type of monster it's equipped to. Though that doesn't make it exactly splashable, seeing as you'd have a bunch of crappy monsters in your hand otherwise.

Not sure if they would gain their ATK, though. It says "When this card is Normal Summoned, select 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type monster in the Graveyard and equip it to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the equipped card's ATK."

 

Which may or may not mean that it would only work on the monster it equipped with its own effect. I could be, and probably am wrong, but that's just my view.

That maybe true, but a Cyberdark equipped with a Dragunity by its own effect WOULD get its boost, plus the 500 from this. Up to 2900 ATK LV4 with effect? F**K YES.

There is no point in having high ATK for a Tuner if you're going to use it as a Tuner. It's just the same as using a regular Tuner. Cyberdarks as tuners is really dumb, in my opinion, but I suppose if you really had to, you could use them to Synchro into something.

There is no point in having high ATK for a Tuner if you're going to use it as a Tuner. It's just the same as using a regular Tuner. Cyberdarks as tuners is really dumb, in my opinion, but I suppose if you really had to, you could use them to Synchro into something.

None the less this would be helpful, even if you only use it as a beatstick beforwe you synchro wiiht it. Without the dragunity that turns one into a tuner, about the only tuner cyberdarks have are black salvo, which the only good option to summon is BRD, and techable ones like plaguespreader and gale, which still leaves out lv 8 synchros like stardust.

As for the card itself, i like that dragunities finally get some support. They need it.

I'm iffy on the LV8 Synchro. It clogs up S/T Zones that might be useful. The others are pretty good though.
