Heres my card:

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Dark Pentacle". When this card is Summoned both players must discard their entire hand. X is equal to the number of cards in you and your opponent's hand. This card cannot be destroyed for the first 3 turns it is on the field. This card cannot attack on the first turn it is summoned. Every time a monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, place 1 Pentacle Counter on this card. Once per turn you may remove any number of Pentacle Counters from this card to Special Summon a monster whose level equals the number of Pentacle Counters removed from this card. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Traps.

If you look at my latest thread it shows that I don't know were the image comes from.

I have one.

This cards is unaffected by the effects of WATER monsters. If this card is targeted by the effect of a WATER monster, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. If you do this, you can decrease this cards DEF by 500 and increase this cards ATK by 150.

Credit for latest card goes Flamos

Hello all! I have finally gotten time to do a review. Trust me, I haven’t had time.

So, lets cut this short, and just get on with it ;)

Stardust Dragon Maxima by Hunter

43114pt8.jpg

[spoiler=Effect]1 Tuner-monster + "Stardust Dragon"

You can Tribute this card to Special Summon the monsters that were used to Synchro Summon this card from your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can negate the effect of a Spell Card or Effect Monster that would destroy face-up monsters you control. If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field during their next Battle Phase.

So, lets get started ;)

This is a Syncro monster that, you should notice right away that the name of this card has the name of a great Syncro monster, Stardust Dragon in it. The only difference is that it has "Maxima" in it. From the sound of that, this should be good.

Next you will notice is that, this is a high level Syncro monster that take Stardust Dragon, which also happens to be a high level syncro monster to summon. That means this will usually be tough to summon. Having a level 2 monster to go with Stardust Dragon sounds like a tough job. Heck, deciding to get rid of Stardust Dragon sounds like a dumb idea.

Don't worry; this makes up for such a big loss.

First off in the effect, you have a save-yourself effect. If you tribute it, you get Stardust Dragon and the other card you used to summon it back to the field. It's always nice to be able to have a re-do if you find out your opponent can stop you even if you play this card ;)

Next, it has a protective effect. Once during your turn, you have the ability to stop your opponent from destroying a face-up monster on your field with a spell card or an effect monster. It can even save itself from destruction with this effect. However, this can only be done once a turn.

Now, you must be saying, "Wow, this is pretty good, but it seems overpowered to me". Well, you would be correct.

But this card has 1 more trick to play ;)

When it is destroyed by battle, meaning if your opponent somehow got a beat-stick with an ATK above 3200 on the field and killed this thing, it would become your opponent's monster during their next battle phase.

That is a gigantic downfall; it gives the opponent a 3200 ATK beat-stick with the ability to save itself. That makes it underpowered, right? That is correct if you don't look hard. Think of it, with this, it would be hard for the opponent to make a guy able to kill this thing. If anything, your opponent would be forced to waste two monsters destroying cards in the same turn, thus taking ammo away from the opponent.

So, this is a great card, which seems to have a lot of balance. Lets get to the rates ;)

Name: 10/10 The meaning of maxima is "a maximum; greatest or highest possible or attained" With the effect of this card, it truly does mean the meaning of maxima.

Pic: 9/10 It's a great pic, not perfect, but great.

Effect: 9/10 A great effect.

Balance: 8/10 I for some reason don't feel like it's completely balanced...

Grammar/OCG: 8/10 the last effects grammar is off. "If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field during their next Battle Phase." Why does it say "Would be", but then talks about things after it's destroyed?

Star/Level Sense: 10: 9/10 10 seems to be a good choice.

Overall: 53/60 OR 8.8/10

Grade: B+

To me, this card would be: Limited

Comments:

It's a great card man! Be happy about a B+, grades like that don't just fly out of here ;)

Cheers,

Yankeefan
