It's a fine card. To call it slow's all well and good, but it's primarily just a plant beatstick with the odd successes of its effect being bonuses.

I think Koa'Ki Meiru Gravirose is a pretty terrible guy. He is too slow and doesn't contribute anything to plants or any other deck.

if it had lower stats you could use recruiters to bring it out and then use its effect.

Really good card except for this one little reason. Can't abuse it as much with lonefire (which is also a freak'n OP'ed card that needs to get hit more...).

 

Anyways, It's a nice support and pretty decent considering most of the Koa'kis are garbage.

 

Off-Topic Question!: Why the hell do most plants feel like they need to have Level 4 1900 ATK beaters? Pretty sure thats not their theme....
