Pot of Greed, Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, Graceful Charity, Snatch Steal

Absolutely every deck ever could be improved by the inclusion of any of those cards.

Honorable mentions to Yata Garasu, Last Turn and Exchange of the Spirit.

Snatch Steal

At most' date=' Snatch Steal would be another Brain Control/Change of Heart.[/quote']

It's a permanent Brain Control though... at the "cost" of giving your opponent 1000 LP. You really don't think that's overpowered?

Obveiously it IS, since the monster would usually have AT LEAST 1000 ATK.

While it's true Pot of Greed is a fantastic card' date=' actually mentioned by name in the original rule book under: cards to include (along with Raigeki, Change of Heart and Monster Reborn)

it cannot win a game by itself

[/quote']

That's stupid. You're stupid. Don't talk to me anymore.

... But on a serious note, saying that Pot of Greed cannot win a game by itself is an utterly worthless statement, since no card out there can win a game by itself. Even if you're going to be a smarmy jerk and go "Lol JD, Lol DAD, Lol CED-Envoy"... 4 lightsworn, 3 darks, one light one dark.

And then there's that pesky 5000-ish life points you haven't cleared yet.

Shapesnatch.

...

Heh. Now, there are a bunch of ways to approach this problem. For example, Pot of Greed goes into every deck evar, but CED doesn't. Pot of Greed doesn't have an easy OTK, though. Raigeki is an OTK-maker of epic proportions, but it's not CERTAIN to win you the game.

Here's my best example: Fiber Jar and Cyber Jar. I believe Cyber Jar has some sort of OTK associated with it, yes? But Fiber Jar completely flips the game on its head to a degree no other card in existence even approaches. That is to say, Cyber Jar is more powerful, but Fiber Jar is more bannable.

Dark Strike Fighter will cry if he isn't mentioned here.

But Mass driver is almost an identical substitute. Dark was just banned because he's a generic synchro that can be splashed into any deck.

For OTK decks with him' date=' theres other stuff.

[/quote']

Really now?

What OTK tops Summoner Monk + any 2 Spells? It's pretty hard to beat that, especially since Summoner Monk wasn't at 1 when he was legal.
