Coffee Black
An old card that seems interesting. Also, potentially nice with Symbol of Heritage. Anyways, Discuss.
-Berserker-
Good in Zombie Decks, with all of those Turtles, Bone Towers and Despairs. Well, I never played zombies but I'm almost sure this is a bad idea...

Master Hyperion
Horrible situational Trap that is outclassed by any other searcher in the game.
Coffee Black
Horrible situational Trap that is outclassed by any other searcher in the game. not many cards cards do with this does. Most searches don't special summon 2 monsters from the deck. (don't bring up Rescue Cat). I don't get how this is so situational, unless the destroyed monster must be face up prior to being attacked. Dr. Cakey
Chain this to Giant Rat... I have a feeling Giant Rat would miss the timing, but mayb not. There's something that I thought about using this with, but I CAN'T remember what...

Ragnus
I use this card in my Exodia Deck. I can be pretty handy when you're looking to bring out fast defenses and shorten your deck at the same time.
Master Hyperion
Horrible situational Trap that is outclassed by any other searcher in the game. not many cards cards do with this does. Most searches don't special summon 2 monsters from the deck. (don't bring up Rescue Cat). I don't get how this is so situational' date=' unless the destroyed monster must be face up prior to being attacked.[/quote'] Broken Blocker requires to have1. a monster that is destroyed by battle that had to be in Defense Position2. The DEF must be higher then it's ATK.3. The monsters that are going to be Special Summoned requires to have the same name. Most monsters that search for stuff that you are going to play in Defense Position that have higher DEF then ATK are searches by themselves, such as GK Spies and Mega-Hamster, which also searches for other cards as well, such as GK Guard/Descendant and Ryko. Also, basic elemental searches such as Mystic Tomato, Giant Rats, Mother Grizzly, etc. don't require to be in Defense Position before they are destroyed by battle and can anything they like, as long it's the right Attribute and ATK, which is piss-easy to do. DARKPLANT RISING
I use this card in my Exodia Deck. I can be pretty handy when you're looking to bring out fast defenses and shorten your deck at the same time. I hope that that deck's not your best deck, and far from it. Amen. Could work in very little decks. Very little. It seems that something great can happen if combined with something...(I can't think it up now) but for now I don't see use. Could be abused? Bringing only 2 decks into the equation shouldn't make a card obsolete. Searching for 2 specific cards at the same time would be nice most of the time. this card is somewhat situational, but could give you a lot. Also' date=' basic elemental searches such as Mystic Tomato, Giant Rats, Mother Grizzly, etc. don't require to be in Defense Position before they are destroyed by battle and can anything they like, as long it's the right Attribute and ATK, which is piss-easy to do.[/quote'] Those monsters have low attack, and are valuable being set. Searching in either position is nice, but you will take damage whenever a Giant Rat or something is destroyed by battle in ATK. Those searcher monsters are easier to use, that's why they are played more. Broken Blocker could be a nice play in the right deck. It shouldn't be written off. RyanAtlus
For some reason, I want to mention Shield and Sword or, but I'm not feeling fucktarded today. Generate generic Synchro Fodder?I'm pretty sure there's a monster that generates an attack lock like Marauding Captain that can be used along with this card. Master Hyperion
That's 2 decks you just brought up that can use those monsters: Gravekeepers and Synchro Cat. Bringing only 2 decks into the equation shouldn't make a card obsolete. Gravekeeper Spy has seen alot of play outside of Gravekeepers since they provide excellent deck thining and easy powerfull wall swarm just be a simple flip' date=' while the Hamster searches for cards that isn't limited to itself. Those monsters have low attack Broken Blocker doesn't have any ATK at all >___> Those monsters have low attack and are valuable being set. Searching in either position is nice' date=' but you will take damage whenever a Giant Rat or something is destroyed by battle in ATK.[/quote'] K, so? People are willing to sarcifice some Lifepoints to search specific cards from their deck and placing it on the field while the gets thinned out, so they are able to draw their victory condition faster and easier. Those searcher monsters are easier to use' date=' that's why they are played more.[/quote'] Of course they are played more often, because it doesn't require a 2 card combo that requires to have the monster in Defense and the DEF must be superior than its ATK, while you are also required to have atleast 1 monster with the same name in your deck, while the same job can be done just by 1 simple recruiter that searches for anything, as long it requires the condition of the recruiter, which shouldn't hard to fulfill. Searching for 2 specific cards at the same time would be nice most of the time. this card is somewhat situational' date=' but could give you a lot.[/quote'] It is nice that you get 2 other monsters with the same name on the field, but at what cost? The defending monster must be at Defense Position and must have a inferior ATK then DEF in order to use the 2nd card (which is Broken Blocker). Most monsters that you want to search out are either low ATK based, FLIP based monsters or you aren't running 3 copies of it. And even if you want to search a strong monster with it, it's most likely that the monster will be in face-up Attack Position and has superior ATK then DEF, unless your running garbage like Labyrinth Wall or Despair from the Dark as your Boss monsters. Broken Blocker could be a nice play in the right deck. It shouldn't be written off. You have yet to provide an example of any sort of usage of this card. The Creator is probarly the only 1 I can make use of it, and even then Broken Blocker would be useless unless you already got the Creator out. Coffee Black
Those monsters have low attackBroken Blocker doesn't have any ATK at all >___> Comparing a trap Card and a Monster Card is hard to do. there a lot of differences and situations where a trap may be better than a monster and vice versa. You make using Broken Blocker sound hard to use. The conditions aren't that specific, just Broken Blocker and a monster with a higher DEF than ATK. There are plenty monsters that can fulfill those conditions. Broken Blocker could be a nice play in the right deck. It shouldn't be written off. I've already said that Broken Blocker would need the right deck; you can't be thinking of the meta and popular cards constantly, which is sort of the reason why I brought this card up in the first place. I actually play cusual alot, but people still need to understand that there's a big hole between fun to use and simply unplayable or just not worth the trouble, because cheaper and/or better alternates exists. You use Broken Blocker to summon 2 other Defender's to the field. Now you could easily have somewhat of a wall with 2 2000 DEF monsters, or you could use one of the Defenders for a synchro or a tribute while having another to potentially protect your monsters if you have spell counters somewhere on your field. Again, this is completley random, but describes how you could use this card and set up something decent.

Master Hyperion
So it's hard for a monster to be in DEF position? Did you all of the sudden forgot my reasonings? Brocken Blocker is absolutly terrible' date=' because it requires a situational set-up of 3 steps while the same job can be easily taken over by any other recruiter in the game. I'll give a random one. Defender, the Magical Knight is destroyed by battle in DEF position. You use Broken Blocker to summon 2 other Defender's to the field. Chances are you're only going to run 2 copies of it, and you don't want to have 2 or more of them on the field at the same time. Now you could easily have somewhat of a wall with 2 2000 DEF monsters K' date=' so? You were forced to give up 2 cards, just for deck thinnnig, which isn't necceserily is a bad thing, but the problem is that one the cards is so damn situational, you might as well run recruiters that do their job better just be themselves. or you could use one of the Defenders for a synchro Any monster in the game can be used as a Synchro fodder, even the ones that were Special Summoned by any other recruiter in the game. or a tribute Spell Counter Spellcasters are actually using Tribute Summoning now? lolwut? Again' date=' this is completley random, but describes how you could use this card and set up something decent.[/quote'] Stop trying so damn hard. No matter how hard you try to make a card look good, most of the times, the were born garbage, and they still remain garbage.

Brocken Blocker is absolutly terrible' date=' because it requires a situational set-up of 3 steps while the same job can be easily taken over by any other recruiter in the game.[/quote'] It seems you have forgot some of my reasonings as well. The average recruiter doesn't special summon 2 monsters, which is this card largest appeal. I've tried to prove that the situation isn't that hard to accomplish. I've also said how different this card is and having to be able to fit well in a deck. it hasn't been proven to work well, so it's hard to imagine it being any good. Again' date=' this is completley random, but describes how you could use this card and set up something decent.[/quote'] Stop trying so damn hard. No matter how hard you try to make a card look good, most of the times, the were born garbage, and they still remain garbage. I won't accept a card being completely forgotten about that easily. Just because you think it's terrible should not mean that 100% of people should think it's terrible. I'm not saying it's great, and I'm not saying that proven decks should immediately play it. All I'm saying is that it could be nice and interesting. To the rest of your post: Most of it is a matter of opinion. We'll do and think things differently.I'm kinda tired of having to piece out certain parts of posts to argue. So I'll just stay kind of general since I don't feel like making this gigantic.
