"I'm boooored," moaned the Golden Witch Beatrice. She sat in a chair, holding a fan to herself.

 

"Is there anything you wish for, my mistress?" Beatrice's butler Ronove asked.

 

"Yes. That one village, Konoha. Take care of that for me, would you?"

 

"If I may ask, why Konoha?"

 

"There are ninjas there. Well, not real ninjas I guess you can say, but they still call themselves ninjas. Destroy them."

 

Ronove chuckled. "If you wish."

 

 

 

Naruto was just about to board a boat. He was told that he would be brought to a secret island, but he didn't know the other details. He figured that it would must we the paradise the Great Toad Sage told him about. Originally, Yamato was to go with him, but an emergency came up and he was sent out on a mission. Much to his surprise, it was Neji Hyuga that was sent to be his replacement.

 

 

"Neji?" said Naruto. "What are you doing here?"

 

"Two things. One: I'm here to be your escort on this mission. Two: it gives me a chance to have a long conversation with you about Hinata."

 

"Who? Oh right, your cousin......She's a brunette, right?"

 

"A violet, actually. I think that it's simply disgraceful that you would ignore her like this. When you fought Pain, Hinata charged in when you were about to be killed. She was willing to die for you, she even confessed that she loved you. All her life, do you know what's been her motivation? All she wanted was to catch your attention and win the love of her father, my uncle. I believe that she has proven herself a worthy heir, she's a great fighter. But you? How did you feel when Hinata said those three words you'd wanted to here for so long? She loves you, with all her heart and soul. What do you have to say for yourself?"

 

Naruto was trying to think of what to say, but he couldn't find the words. "Neji, I-"

 

"No, don't bother. All you care about is saving Sasuke, and for what? What has he done to show that he's even worth saving? People actually want you to become the Hokage, but I feel they're all jumping the gun. You have the power, but that's it. You lack the clear mind the duty of Hokage requires, and your heart is clearly in the wrong place. No matter how much love you have for the village, you are adamant in bringing Sasuke back. He isn't worth it, Naruto! Don't you realize that? He is beyond redemption, he's a monster! I know that you stopped Gaara, but Gaara had the chance for redemption! Sasuke has none at all! The only place he has to call home is with a madman, and all of Konoha wants him dead! You've given Sakura hope for a happy ending, but it's pointless! Sasuke is a mons-

 

"What do you know!? Sasuke....he's being manipulated by that Madara, I just know it!"

 

"Open your eyes! Orochimaru, Madara, neither of them matters! All they did is guide Sasuke along the path he wanted: power and revenge. Let him go! Cast aside all your feelings for Sasuke, know that this cycle of hatred will find it's closure with Sasuke's death! Accept that!"

 

 

Naruto's raging fist met with Neji's face. The shinobi from Kumo made to restrain him, holding him from a second attack.

 

 

"Let me at him!" Naruto protested.

 

"Oh, come now," said a voice. Before the shinobi stood a man in a black suit. "My name is Ronove. Pleasure to meet you. Now if you'll excuse me, my mistress has ordered for your demise."

 

"Like hell you will!" Naruto broke free from his hold, summoned a Shadow Clone, and readied a Rasengan. Ronove made no effort to move, but a second before the Rasengan could meet its target, a barrier formed before Ronove.

 

"Silly orange-wearing "ninja", I'm not one to be taken lightly."

Dude....

 

A demon who's from the 13th court of Hell and works for a witch who kills people for fun and can hardly be killed at all and controls everything in her territory.....
