Activate only when your opponent declares they are Summoning a monster. The card your opponent was about to Summon is set aside. You must guess whether the Summoned monster's ATK is more than, equal to, or less than 2000. If you are correct, the Summon of that monster is negated, and that monster is added to your hand. If you are wrong, the monster is Summoned as normal.

Discuss.

IT'S OVER 2000!!!

Since when do you have to declare you are going to summon?

That's what I was wondering. And how the hell would this work if you're special summoning more than one at a time?

You can tell this is definitely a manga card...the only cards that make less sense than anime cards.

IRL it would be somthing like 'Your opponent selects all Monster cards in their hand. You Randomly select 1 of them and declare if it's ATK is Greater than 2000 or Less than 2000, if you call it right add the card to your hand, if you call it wrong Special Summon the monster to your opponent's field in Face-Up Defense position' ignoring horrid OCG...

I'm certain Pegasus used this against Kaiba in the anime too. That's how he got his Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon.

no, Pegasus stole Kaiba's BEWD with Dark Spell while Toon World was face-up.

i think...

Jeez, people, this is part of our HISTORY! This is like, the Declaration of Independence of Yu-Gi-Oh or something.

Pegasus stole BEWD with Prophecy.

He used Toon World to make it a Toon.

Kaiba used Shadow Spell on Toon BEWD to awaken its subconscious bondage fetish weaken it and chain it in place so that epic win BEWD could slay the Toon.

Then Yugi used Catapult Turtle to destroy Castle of Dark Illusion's flotation ring. lulz

Actually, it'd be a lot harder in the anime to make this card work. Oftentimes the characers would be further away, so it'd be harder to guess. (They also suck more, but that's beside the point). Also,

No Tribute: Less than 2000

Tribute: More than 2000 (usually)

If this card existed, Gene-Warped and V-Lord would probably be decent Side-Deck Material

You've never seen how dramatically long it takes for them to play a card on the table/Duel Disk, have you?

Of course I do. They spend about 3/5 of the game explaining away the effects and generally bantering.
