T. Sankara
I hope you're asking for list placement. Either way, it's fine at 1.

RyanAtlus
Machamp is awesome because he can easily be Summoned and can do BOOM. Catastor is awesome because he can easily be Summoned and can do BOOM. But Machamp wins, because he is a SUPERPOWER pokemon that can perform RAGE. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
If you aren't running this in your deck, your doing it wrong. This card is one of the best monsters they ever released, and it is balanced because it doesn't auto-blow up dark monsters, therefore has a fair weakness (because lol blackwings, infernities, dark synchros, and caius say hi). ~Oleon~
Look! Your Machamp is evolving! Dun dun dun dun dun dun duh duh duh dun dun dun! *white flash* Congratulations! Your Machamp evolved into an Ally of Justice Catasor! Anyways - on a serious note.Machamp is Level 62 and Catasor is Level 5. Machamp has a Superpower ability - and Catasor is a Gooey Old Machine ability.Machamp can peform RAEG and Catasor can do...eh. Pokemon OCG bloody confuses me. o.O
Sephiroth_The_Legend
but.. your forgetting 2 important words: Special Effect Machamp is a FIGHTING type pokemon. Ally of Justice - Catastor destroys all non-DARK's. So, Catastor can beat Machamp.

Luis2
You can just use Book of Moon to kill it with a non-Dark monster.
Dr. Cakey
i get it cuz taek out iz sort uv liek catastrs specal effect The one thing I don't like about it is that it goes back to effects that work on only one Attribute/Type (or rather, all but one). It doesn't matter for the rest of the AoJs because they all suck even against Light monsters (except for Decisive Arms, I guess). On the other hand, this card does have its opposite - you know, Consecrated Light.
wero-vasto
You can just use Book of Moon to kill it with a non-Dark monster. Basic knowledge.... It's good @3 =3 I love it <_< Good card is good

Azuh
I hate the new Pokemon cards. I like the olden days where 100 HP for a fully evolved Pokemon meant something
Scatty
I can't wait for a card with If this card battles a non-WIND monster, destroy that monster without applying damage calculation. to appear. It would be so broken...

darkwolf777
Take Out seems pretty funny, considering all the powerful Basic Pokemon out there that don't evolve at all lol. I haven't played Pokemon TCG since some of the first Gym Leader sets, so I don't know where this falls in terms of broken compared to other Pokemon cards, but understanding how Pokemon itself works, and this Machamp is strong as hell >_> lol In any case, I have nothing to really say about Catastor. Its a great card. Why can't the Pokemon TCG have Handheld games anymore? They had two =/ they could've continued...

evilfusion
Catastor targeting was an incorrect judge ruling that should have been appealed. ...Machamp is OPed... Catastor is an awesome, awesome card. However, I don't know if Book of Moon does anything. I thought if Catastor battles a facedown monster and it's a non-Dark, its effect activates, so the same would logically occur in reverse. Do I just have the ruling wrong? I thought if Catastor battles a facedown monster and it's a non-Dark, its effect activates, so the same would logically occur in reverse. Do I just have the ruling wrong?[/quote'] You do, although I assumed the same thing at first. The Attribute of the monster is checked at the time the attack is declared/Catastor is selected as the attack target. And yes, that Catastor-targetting buggery was ridiculous. I guess judges are the card game equivalent of umpires.
Luis2
However' date=' I don't know if Book of Moon does anything. I thought if Catastor battles a facedown monster and it's a non-Dark, its effect activates, so the same would logically occur in reverse.
