Sephiroth_The_Legend
works fine at 1.3 i reckon would be cloggy and unneccessary.having said that, i still dont want my opp to drop a 2700 beatstick + more on me for just attacking.
Toffee.
The token is usually weaker then Gorz, but the Token can be Honest'D lolmindgames
arkel
It rewards bad play with 2 easy Beatsticks. If that isn't banworthy then what is? The current format improved with his existence. A better format would still have him banned. Rewards bad plays. Punishes good ones. Bannable.

El Majishan
lolplay my friend did. He knew the guy had gorz and he was 100lp short of the otk.Typically you would drop on the strongest atk so my friend just attacked with all monsters expect the one that would have left the guy with 100lp left. Guy: You gonna attack with Though Ruler?Friend: NopeGuy: -_-..... My friend just killed him next turn. OT: lolmindgames, Gives you 2 beat sticks just for leaving your field clear. The good thing is stops OTK, get rid of otk's and then we can ban Gorz IMO

If anything' date=' Gorz makes the game more interesting.[/quote'] In the current format, it's true you can easily play around a Gorz. In a "perfect" format, however, playing around him is not so easy. Good play = JD Nuke? Again, Gorz punishes good plays if the banlist were halfway decent. Mehmani
Meh, it all depends on opinion. If it is at any more than one then it's broken.
Wizarus
I used to think Gorz was broken, but now I like where it is. It's almost like Heavy Storm; broken, but needed at one to promote skill, and to keep the game from becoming too linear. And as stated before, good players do play around him. So what? On your "perfect" lists there are ONLY 3 viable decks. Plants, Monarchs and Gadgets. Everything else is tiers below them. And we all know how skillful a gadget mirror is. :)

-Griffin
I'm on Manjoume's side here - the current format is great, and most people's "perfect formats" take a lot out of the game and aren't really good at all. Also pro-Gorz. It's a good card, discourages "lolOTK", can be played around, ect.

You're basically betting the first few turns - and thus, the outcome of the game - on your beatstick. It provides immediate advantage in exchange for a relatively unprotected field. It is not to "sit back and relax".

[/debate] does it bother no one else that you can do that? first turn -1 stardust? seriously, wtf. THIS is whats bad in this format and every other. funk synchros. also, gorz is good because he cockblocks lolotks. the problem with the game isnt cards like gorz who promote comebacks, but cards like jd who promote slamming your head into the table in a perfect format, he wouldnt promote such comebacks because jd wouldnt exist and it would thus be more difficult to straight up nuke your opponents field. in a perfect format he would likely cockblock a full on vortex+heavy+dickinyourmouth beatstick otk, which still wouldnt be a huge problem because he would just be blocking extreme overextension. and then theres the gorz bluff of just not doing anything. pretty obvious. promotes mind games which are good for any game.he really isnt bad for the game at 1. moving on,@title:would like to speak with you.
